I twisted my ankles and fell November 24th and my ankles are still quite painful and all bruised up. Finally wrapped them today. May see a doctor soon. My friend's dad saw the pictures and said I should see a doctor. (Friend's dad is a doctor.) Started taking Ibuprofen again. Ouch.

I'm thirty-four!

I finally utilized the folders feature for my gallery and I'm hoping to be more active here! Yay!

Just letting you know that, despite my inactivity, I am still here. Also, I decided against the whole non binary thing. It just didn't feel me when I tried.

I've been thinking about this on and off, and I decided I'll finally experiment with it and see how I feel.

I might be non-binary, so I'm going to try they/them pronouns for a while and see how I feel.

I also hope to experiment with my look a bit and may share photos.

I'm excited for this experience!

I wasn't sure if I should make this post or how to word it, but I felt I should let anyone who would care know:

My mother passed away yesterday morning. She passed in her sleep after a hard fought battle with interstitial lung disease.

It really hurts, but her final days were spent at home surrounded by friends and family who loved her dearly. We had a TON of visitors in the final few days. She was so happy to see everyone.

We are in mourning, but we will get through this as a family.

I'm not sure if I'll be any more or less active for a while, but I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on.

I hope I feel better by then. I'll be 32.

Just a quick update to let everyone know I have finally made it to our new house in Michigan! All the stuff is in the house; we just need to unpack it and move it around.

My TV and PC have yet to be hooked up, but I've got my laptop and phone and such. No WiFi yet, but we hope to have it soon.

It sure is nice to have cooler weather at night and not be sweltering during the day! Looking forward to timely autumn leaves and winter snow!

I'm so happy!

Going on an 11+ hour drive tomorrow to the rental before we move into new house there. Packers are packing stuff. Nerves are killing me.

Looking forward to being in Michigan; not so much the process of getting there.

Depending on how well you know me, it may be obvious I'm quite nostalgic for my time in Michigan. I spent most of my childhood there, only spending my infancy in Ohio, one year in Wisconsin, and moving to Tennessee as a young teen.

It isn't mere nostalgia, however. My older brother and his lovely wife still live in Michigan. Anytime I've visited them, it just felt right to be there. It was home. I was supposed to be there.

And let's not forget Michigan food! I only remember so many specifics, but one thing I do know, Michigan is the only place to get a Coney Dog done right! (No, there are not chili dogs.) What's more, you can get straight up tubs of Blue Moon Ice Cream! What is Blue Moon Ice Cream? Have you ever had Superman Ice Cream? It's the blue ice cream used in that blue, red, and yellow ice cream blend. I would tell you what flavor it is, but the taste is indescribable! Good; that's what it is!

I like Michigan so much, I tend to place my original characters there!

Now, why am I gushing about Michigan?

For the first time in over a decade, leaving the state in my early teen years and now being almost thirty-two years old... WE'RE MOVING BACK TO MICHIGAN!!!

I'm so happy! I'm so excited!

In fewer than two months, we'll be back in Michigan AND our old hometown AND be a mere FIVE MINUTES from my older brother and my sister in law!

We will be much closer to family and my mother should have an easier time breathing in the much lower humidity. (She has interstitial lung disease caused by hypersensitive pneumonitis.)

Also... SEASONS!!! We will have seasons again! Colorful leaves in autumn! Snow in winter! Yay!

Aaaaahhhhh!!! I'm so happy!!!

Just letting you guys know. I got my surgery on December sixth and it went smoothly as far as I know. I hurt like hell, but I have painkillers, so that's good.

Still a bit sick and need a lot of rest, but I can breathe mostly well.
