As I was worried about, I am no longer getting support from my government in terms of funds for living. I thought it would have gone on for longer, but as I was filling out everything I needed for my biweekly report, I got the message that this next cheque will be my last, as the timeline of how long I can receive it is over. As I am for my current financial situation, obviously I won't go into details but I will say I will be fine for up to 3 or 4 months of rent. However, of course that won't be forever. I'll be opening my commissions as soon as I am possibly ready to, but on my end I will attempt to look for work and possibly any more gov. benefits I can apply for.

I will leave my Kofi out as an available option to support me, but please don't feel it's necessary to do it, and to do it now. I am one of many who are struggling to keep their livelihood, and others have it way far worse than me. I could name a few but I feel it would be rude of me to list them in a vent like this. Nevertheless, if you feel you seriously can support me, even if it's a dollar, you can buy me a tea. Every time bit helps me stay out on my home, not living with my parents, and allowing me to have a space I can be my true self. Though I miss my old neighbourhood, I wouldn't trade the freedom I have now for that again.

I don't make many journals unless they're very important, and you can guess this is important (to me at least).

I live in a condo with my sister, and I pay rent even though my mother and father support us. However, yesterday while having dinner with my mom, she suddenly became so irritated and frustrated about my sister and I not being able to find work. Now, I'm at school full time, and my sister is looking for work. I'm running on government money (that is finite), and no matter what either my sister or I do, jobs don't seem to want us.

I pay $500 CAN a month, and my mom is demanding that I now pay $1,500 CAN a month. She believes the only way to do that is to get a job, and though that would pay the most, it's impossible to find work right now, even with companies complaining "no one wants to work anymore". My mom says if we don't find work by December, we're going to be moving back in with her... and honestly... life was not as free under her control, despite both my sister and I being adults she treats us as we're still like children. Maybe too much info, but it's the best way to show why moving back is not ideal to me.

My plan is to become more consistent with art, and hopefully do commissions, or open a patreon, to support my sister and I. I know it's harder to have a consistent income with art, but I feel this is something I need to try. Because it's not just freedom to be myself I'm trying to fund, but also trying to live (food, essentials, etc.)

The Among Us YCH is finished and will be posted some time around 4 or 5 ish Pacific Standard Time.
It's first come first serve, but depending on how well it does, I'll open it up again and/or make another with a different scene!

Among Us is a nice easy way of getting some drawing in, but i do really enjoy the cute bean aesthetic of the crewmates. I really want to try and expand it a bit by finding a balance between the art style of Among Us, and the design of the OC/Character.
