Where are you coming from?
Blackstone, MA

When are you arriving/leaving?
Arriving Friday morning, and leaving Monday morning.

Starting to think about Furfright a lot now. I have a room in the main hotel with my husband and will be going. If anyone wants to get some time with me, let me know and we'll swap cell #s. I'm not going to post on the "message board" window like I have before and also have forgotten to do when I said I was going to before.
I'd love to be caught in suit more. May dance, may purchase some fine wares in the dealers dungeon. I have no real attack pattern or plans, so what happens happens.
I should have something written to put up on FA and YS by the end of the week, but it will be short.

I have a question for everyone who enjoys what I write. I notice a distinct difference between the views of my series and my first posted story. One big difference is in the series, each chapter is limited to around 10,000 words give or take to make a good stopping point. The first story I posted is around 23,000 words. Is length intimidating? Is it just a coincidence based on tags? I don't mind the readership issue, but I would like to know if I should shorten chapters and stories, splitting up the action into edible bites, or is it fine the way it is? Your opinion will be greatly appreciated.

If you come to me and say that I do not have the right to civil marriage, I will reply that you do not either, if that is the case.
If you beleive marriage is sacred, then I will demand you outlaw divorce, if that is the case.
If you come to me and give me civil unions, I will demand that you outlaw civil marriages for everyone, if that is the case.
If you say you can choose which rights extend to which people, I will hate you, loathe you, and wish you were declared a convicted felon, if that is the case.
If you spread lies, misrepresent the truth, all to further your own agenda, I will call you a liar, a sinner, and attempt to discredit you, if that is the case.
If you celebrate your victories of hatred, I will never speak to you again, if that is the case.

In the end, if you come to me and say that I have no right to your religious, and not civil, marriage, I will agree, and be happy we have finally come to agreement.

Furfright was a fun dally away from reality for a few days. Good food, good company, and hilarious times. I was able to suit for a couple hours on Friday and Saturday. Sunday, we (my mate and I) left early because we had hung out with most of the people on our list, and events were kind of winding down. Congrats to the staff for putting together another unforgettable time.
Only Tobascofish recognized my suit who hasn't already seen it, and that it was me in it.
Next furry event? The FOXmas party. I'll be there, unless some unforeseen event stops me. Should be a blast.
On another note, my mate lost another close person making it 2 people in as many weeks. I wish there was something I can do, but in all reality, all I can be is "there for him". Passive helping, I know. 2008 has not been a kind year in that regard.
"The Ones Who Made Me Love" is still on a bit of a hiatus. Chapter 4 is 3/4 of the way to completion, but more of my time is spent making sure my mate is comfortable. I have not forgotten the story though, but this chapter is posing a unique challenge for me. I'll probably need one or two test readers because of my insecurities related to this chapter before I'll even think of posting. Anyone?
In closing, fur cons are excellent, especially the smaller ones where it has a more 'family' type feeling. Ayulf's suit is still awesome. FOXmas party is a must! Death sucks (not the character in my stories, just the event). And I hope to have more stories for you guys soon. Bear with me!

I know I said chapter 4 of "The Ones Who Made Me Love" should be out sooner rather than later, and I do hope that is still true.
However, I haven't had a chance to write. I usually take a week off of writing after posting a story to clear my head of that story and amass ideas for the next one. At the end of that "week off" a death in the family rattled my brain. I've attempted to write what is in mind, but it is at a gruelingly slow pace. I'll still be working on it when writing feels easier and comes naturally again. I'm thinking I'll be back to normal after a weekend and next week should be back on the train.
