Verizon just charged me $75 in overages because people have been calling my phone even after I ask them not to. I had a 200 minute talk time, 1000 text, no data plan because my job pays me shit and I barely get by every month (sometimes I don't and I have to ask my dear boyfriend to help). People don't seem to understand when I ask them not to call me unless it's an emergency, and this is what happens. Freaking $75 in overages. So my phone bill was $140 this month. Now I may not have enough for utility bills.

ANYWAY.

Because of this, I am finally looking for a better phone plan. I am trying to choose between going with a no-contract place like Metro PCS that offers unlimited talk, text, and data for $50-60 a month (or so they say) or getting a family plan with my boyfriend from a major network like Verizon (whom I am currently with, paying month to month), Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Good family plan deals or even single person deals? Please let me know; I've got to get a better phone plan to avoid these overage charges :(

I can't even believe I'm having to type this. FWA is the ONLY con I go to out of state, and it's the one that I look forward to ALL YEAR! It was my first convention, and this would (hopefully) be my 4th year going. There are a couple obstacles that may stand in my way, though, and it is really getting me down to think that I may not make it :(
I already have the days off from work, so that's not a problem.

HERE are the 2 problems:

1. My job has cut everyone's hours horribly, so I am barely making enough to pay rent and bills (I actually had to ask my bf to help out last month, and I hate asking for help with money :c) I am going to have to work my butt off to finish all of my current commissions, and then REALLY hope that I can get enough customers for another batch of commissions in order to pay for FWA.

2. I have 3 ferrets that will need to be taken care of. One of them has to be fed a home-made mush several times a day (the food can't be left in the cage or it spoils), so I would either have to find someone who could take care of them at their own place, or that could come by 3-4 times a day from March 14-18.
If any of you here in Central FL would be willing to care for my ferrets from March 14-18, please let me know! I will draw you lots of things and pay you what I can ;u;

I will NOT give up hope, because FWA means a so much to me. It is the only time during the year that I can hang out with some people, and there are a few online friends that I had really hoped to meet there this year! Wish me luck guys, I'll need it..

Not sure what exactly I would need, and this isn't really "animation", just a few lighting effects...

Essentially, here is what I'm trying to do in 3 steps:

1. show image 1 (image of the character alone)
2. screen fades to black (or just show a black screen)
3. a few flashes of "light" or several quick flashes of black screen to image (to give the effect of a flickering light bulb or lightning) revealing image 2 (which is image 1 with other characters added in the background)

My world feels like it's crashing down around me. This all might not sound like a huge deal, but it really, really is.

I went to get my tags renewed today because they are expired (I am somewhat new to FL and didn't know they expire on your birthday). At the office I went to, the clerk told me that there was an outstanding toll violation I would have to clear before I could renew my tags.

I have a bullshit toll violation of $220. From where I have been charged TWICE for tolls.

How?

I have had a Sunpass account since I moved here and still had an NC license plate. When I got my plate changed to a FL one I didn't think to change the info on my Sunpass account (Sunpass is a device that you put money into to pay tolls as you drive through them so you don't have to stop). Because of the new license plate, my Sunpass device was no longer "linked" to my car.

Any time I ran a toll in the past year (which happened a good deal because the auto-pay option for my Sunpass would never work, and I used to have to drive through 30 tolls daily for work), my Sunpass would register the amount and put it on my online tab which I would have to pay off. But it apparently also charged me AGAIN each time as a non-Sunpass holding car (again, because my license plate apparently wasn't "linked" to the Sunpass account).

I have been on the phone all freaking day with Sunpass and the business that charged me the 2nd time (called E-pass), telling them that I DID pay for the tolls that I ran, using my Sunpass account, so I should NOT owe them this money from when I was charged a second time. Both companies have told me 15 different things, and neither of them will work with me. They SHOULD waive the second set of charges because I ALREADY PAID THEM. But they refuse.

What does this mean/why is this a big deal?

Without my tags I can't get to work. I am already in debt to my boyfriend because I couldn't afford my rent this month on my salary. With no job and no car, I have no way to do anything. I just...I don't know what to do...do I tell my boss tonight that I can't work tomorrow and possibly for a long time because I can't pay off a toll violation I shouldn't even have?

I'm breaking down here, I don't know what to do. I don't have $220. The companies told me they can't waive the fees. What the hell do I do?

First off, I have panic disorder. In situations that I have no control over (like being in an airplane) I easily go into panic. When I have these panic attacks, they are completely debilitating. I cannot move, breathe, speak, and I shake so violently that I cannot use my hands for anything. I dry heave horribly and my vision blacks out, and my heart beats so rapidly that I feel as though I'm having a heart attack. These are not simply anxiety attacks; these are full blown panic attacks that seriously mess with me for days after one happening. Each one can last up to a few hours, and it simply feels like I am dying. They are the worst things I have ever experienced, mentally or physically.

Now for the fun part. I have a chance to see my parents and grandparents from January 6-11. There is a family reunion on my aunt and uncle's ranch in Texas which my entire mom's side of the family is attending. I couldn't be with family for Thanksgiving, and because of work I sadly can not see my family at all for Christmas (my parents live in NC and my grandparents live in GA), so I really want to go see my loved ones in Texas!

The only thing is...I haven't been on a plane in ages because of my panic attacks. And I would have to fly alone, which is a HUGE factor in having a attack. I have an anxiety medication called Klonopin that I can take on occasions such as this in order to prevent a panic attack from occurring, but sometimes my panic is just too much and it breaks through the medication :( I could take a larger dose, but it makes me feel so sick to my stomach, which in turn makes me even more panicky.

I hate letting panic control my life. I don't want to let it prevent me from seeing my loved ones, especially my grandparents who are 90 and 91 years old! I just don't know what to do here. Seriously in tears because of this. I hate it so much.

My questions for those of you with panic disorder or fear of flying are:

1. Simply put, what have you done in similar situations?

2. Do you know if flight attendants have any type of routine procedures for passengers who go through panic attacks on board? Like, can you warn them ahead of time so they can help you? And what if you have to change planes while heavily medicated??

3. What have you done to enable yourself to travel by plane if you have the same issues as me (a particular meditation technique, helpful websites to look at, anything calming you used)?


Any advice whatsoever will be helpful, and I truly appreciate your feedback! I have to decide what to do now. Can I overcome this and actually buy the plane tickets? God this shouldn't be so difficult :C

I've been in an art slump as of late, and for this I apologize. All artists tend to go through these periods, and it's no fun :(

It may be caused in part by stress related to my recent move to a new apartment, or my current monetary issues.

However, I know a large part in it is the fact that I have run out of my anxiety medication, and without medical insurance I have to wait on a 3 month long list to get into a cheap clinic to get it re-prescribed :/ This lack of my medication (which I have been on for years) is not boding well for my brain chemistry atm, and I've been feeling very down and anxious. I'm searching for more options to get my medication prescribed again asap, but so far any doctor visits are way out of my price range, so I'm not really sure what do do while I wait for a couple months to get into a cheap clinic...

Just wanted to update everyone, and to let my commissioners know that I am trying to work slowly but surely on your art, but I am not rushing anything because I am dedicated to giving you all the highest quality of artwork that I can.
