2. My non-biological little sister, mom, and dad who have really been there for me (I had an internship out of town in the summer of 2009 and I lived with them for a few months, and we've always stayed in touch)

Motion LE1600 slate question
Posted 15 years agoAnyone worked with one of these before? I'm probably going to be deciding between one of those (which has a 12" screen) off ebay, or the LS800 (with an 8" screen) from someone I know. I'm used to drawing on a larger surface, so I'd like to go with the bigger screen, but I haven't known of anyone who has worked with the LE1600...
Also, as far as I have read, all Motion slates are supposed to be equipped with Wacom sensitivity...just want to confirm that if anyone knows.

Almost decided against this one :/ Not looking for anyone else to win my heart, so I guess I'll do this as if I were asked this on a game show or something? Lol.

Fur/hair floof idea problem...need suggestions.
Posted 15 years agoOk, so the eventual Remy suit is supposed to be like her feral version, which has a big hair floof (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4359185/).
The rusty-orange fur that I got for that portion of her fur is only like an inch or 1.5 inches long, so idk how that could be made into a floof. I don't want it to be something shaped and hard, like foam shaped into a floof and then covered with the fur, if you know what I mean.
So I got a little bit of red fox fur that has 3" pile, but it's a lot darker than the rusty orange. The red fox fur is the perfect length to make the floof, but not the right color. I don't have an airbrush, nor do I know how to use one, so I can't adjust the red fox fur color that way (unless I find someone who has an airbrush and can mix a color to match the rusty orange and then color the red fox fur entirely, or just enough to blend where it would connect to the rusty orange.).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the floof with the short, correctly colored fur, or with some color work done to the longer fox fur?!? (Or anyone with an airbrush that I could actually send a swatch of the rusty orange to, along with the red fox fur, who could mix the right color and air brush it?)

Posted 15 years agoThis is prettymuch a bawwww/rage/vent journal, just to give you fair warning.
I may not graduate in December mainly because of being sick and missing too many assignments and labs. (I have a chronic stomach condition that causes me to get very nauseated and sick at random times.) So:
I have over 8 makeup exams/quizzes as of now, a makeup presentation, and 2 research papers that will have to be turned in at least a week late. I have less than 3 weeks to do all of this, plus additional exams, and then finals. Somehow, I don't think I'm going to make it to my graduation in December.
My apartment lease is done in December, meaning no place to live for the upcoming semester, since my apartment has most likely already been leased to someone else.
Can't move to another apartment because this is the only one that allows pets. Not to mention finding another place at this point in time would be very hard, and expensive to move all of my stuff again, just for one semester.
I won't be able to take out a student loan if I'm only taking one class (have to have 4 to be a full-time student), so I'll have to try my luck again at finding a job in this tiny fucking town again.
I'm sitting here now, wondering just how far I can push myself to try to get it all done, or if I should just give up on one of my classes and drop it to try and salvage the others. Meaning I would need an extra semester here for ONE FUCKING CLASS. For the one class I am the most behind in, my teacher even suggested dropping it because he said the workload I would have to accomplish just for his class alone (not including all the other make-up stuff for other classes) would be ridiculous.
This may not seem like a big deal to some, but I have been at this school for a long fucking time, and I cannot stand this town any more. The winters are 5 months long (no exaggeration) and it depresses me. I wanted to get the hell out. But now, that's not looking very possible. And I have all the aforementioned shit to deal with.
I know there are much worse things in life, like not having food or shelter, or family, but still...FML.

POWERPOINT EMERGENCY (EDIT)
Posted 15 years agoEDIT: TRYING TO DOWNLOAD A TRIAL VERSION (didn't want to work last time, but I'll give it another shot.)
Soooo I have an entire powerpoint presentation I have to prepare for a class tomorrow morning, and my powerpoint says that it is expired and won't work, even though all the other microsoft office programs are working. I have no clue what to do...I guess I could try that Open Office thing, even thought I've never used it, since it has a program similar to powerpoint. BUT if you know of a way to get just powerrpoint (either 2007 or 2010) quickly, pleeeease let me know.
