IT WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME TO SEE IT IN THEATERS AGAIN 8D

The 3-D was very well done (had never seen a traditionally animated movie in 3D before), and it was very nostalgic for me to be encompassed in the sound and beautiful imagery. It was also really cool because everyone in the theater for the midnight showing was in the age range of 20-35. I could really see how passionate my generation is about the movie we've loved for years and years :) Annnnd it was awesome because no one was loud at inappropriate moments, and everyone sang along, so it was a great community experience!

And last but not least...thank GOD they didn't include that Morning Report song that was added to some of the newer dvd re;eases XD

I found the OST to The Land Before Time (the real, original one...the other 5000 sequels were abominations) and these instrumentals are just...gorgeous. They're getting me teary eyed ;u;

If you loved the movie as a child, or now, please look up the instrumentals online or download them if you can. God the emotion in this soundtrack is unexplainable...

Muta, one of my ferrets, just dunked her head in a margarita, and proceeded to wardance. That is all.

I interviewed for a job at SeaWorld. They decided to "move forward with other candidates" for the job. Guess a biology degree and 5 years of zookeeping/rehab/exotic animal experience don't mean shit. Ugh.

My current retail job is indoors all day and it's killing me. I miss working with animals so much...I feel like a big chunk of my life is missing :C

3 days into my new job and I'm sick. Sore throat, stuffy nose, body aches, the works. Thank goodness I had my interview with SeaWorld yesterday before I started feeling really bad. As far as that interview went, it was challenging because of the situational questions they asked, but I think I did alright. I'm -really- nervous because there are SO many people applying for the job. I want this job so badly, alksjdalkfafkl.

As far as commissions and trades go, they're all in progress :) I'm trying to adjust to this work schedule though, so progress may be slow. I have to wake up at 11:30 to leave the house at 1 to get to work by 3 (long way to drive plus traffic ugh) then I get off at 11:30-12 and get home around 1am. This is why I need to find a place in Orlando lol.

Hopefully they won't fire me for calling out sick for 2 days straight now though. Got tomorrow and Monday off though, so maybe I'll be better by then.

Besides all that, how are you guys doing? :)

Yar, last night I finally got here for good :) I'm going to be a temporary roomie at  media's and  failferret's place until I save a little money and find a place closer to Orlando. Then I'll have to go back to NC and get the rest of my stuff and move it down here too, but I think since I'm starting work here on Tuesday I can officially say that I'm a Floridian! Haha, sounds so weird after being a North Carolinian for most of my life!

OMG I have an interview at SeaWorld next Friday for a diver position. I'm sooooo excited but really nervous because there's a lot of competition. I need to read my SCUBA book a few times to get reacquainted with everything since it's been a year since I dove last!

So I made an oops. I ordered a woot shirt and accidentally clicked medium in men's shirt size instead of medium in women's shirt size. Got the shirt in the mail today and realized this, and it's way too big for me to wear :C

This makes me pretty sad because I -really- liked the design and the color of the shirt as well. If anyone would like to do a shirt "trade" of sorts, I would greatly appreciate it. After I pay for shipping (probably $3-4) of the men's shirt to you, I will have paid $14 total since the shirt was originally $10. I have really wanted to watch the unedited, fan-subbed version of Ginga Nagareboshi Gin for a while now, but I am having trouble finding the UNEDITED version. According to Wikipedia, the English version sucks:

"In western countries the anime was released as a set of four VHS tapes, and censored for violent images. This led to the removal of several plot-critical scenes, including all footage from the episodes preceding the series finale as well as the deaths of certain characters. Due to limitations of sound-editing at the time this resulted in the background music of certain scenes to be lost."

So  zotcoon is awesome and got me a copy of The Last Unicorn signed by Peter S. Beagle (the author) while he was at Anthrocon. I wanted to go sooooooo bad because I'm a huge fangirl of The Last Unicorn (the movie was a staple of my childhood days...and the present days too haha) but couldn't afford it this year. Thank you SO MUCH Zot! There will be art in your future :)

Also I am working on the last couple of commissions I have on the list. Because having lists of commissions takes me forever and I'd really like to have a much quicker turnaround time, I will be taking only one or two commissions at a time when I open again. Same goes for trades, because I hate making people wait.

Other than that, MEGAPLEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I'm going to be down in Florida again for a couple of weeks for more job hunting, and while I'm there I'm going to hit up MP because I've never been, and I've heard it's a blast :) Who else is going???

I'm migrating back down to the Orlando area within the next week or two to continue my job-hunt, and I'm pretty set on going to Megaplex while I'm there! I'd like to stay in a room there if possible, so I was wondering if any of you guys that I know have any space left? I'm appreciative of any offers, but I'd really like to room with people who I've at least been acquainted with :) Either way, who all is going?
