My ferrets are currently curled up sleeping under a towel. One of them let out the loudest fart ever, effectively dutch-ovening both her sister and herself. A few seconds later they both started sneezing rapidly in unison, and then proceeded to pass out again.

Really wanted to go to Furloween tonight, but I just couldn't afford it. I've been looking forward to going to furry events here in Florida ever since I moved here, and haven't been able to make it to one yet.

Many of my friends (whom I haven't seen in forever) are at Furloween, and it's only 30 freaking minutes away, so this is TORTURE :C

Anyway, it's almost Halloween and I want to go to a Halloween party or have a scary movie night with friends or SOMETHING before October is over. It just feels like nothing fun has happened for Halloween, and it's my favorite holiday!

So yeah, just feeling pretty bummed out tonight :( What are you guys' plans for Halloween? Maybe by reading your plans I'll find some inspiration for something fun to do!

I submitted something earlier to FA, but the 2nd image I'm trying to upload keeps failing. The thumbnail uploads, but the submission keeps showing the "no image" gray box. Those who know me well know that I absolutely LOVE wildlife photography. You can find a lot of it in my gallery. My good old Olympus digital camera, which I have had for 6 years, finally kicked the dust a little while back (screen shattered, battery casing completely broken, lens cap won't stay on, and a few other things). That camera went through a lot; being chewed on by bears, wolves, foxes, a tiger, and being taken to some hostile environments (for a camera at least lol) in Hawaii and Australia on biology trips. It has kicked the dust, though, and I've been looking for a new, smaller camera to use until I get rich one day (ha) and can afford a really nice DSLR. It's been difficult to find a smaller camera with the zoom that I want, but I found a winner.

Sooooo I'm a mix between Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Applejack lol. I've always thought if I were a pony it's be a mix of Fluttershy because of her affinity for animals and nurturing way, and Pinkie Pie for my randomness that doesn't seem to humor many people and my singing, weird bouts of hyperness, etc etc. Lol.

Gave my job 2 weeks notice a few days ago because I simply wasn't making any money after the gas and toll roads were calculated in, and I would have gone into debt very quickly with the addition of Florida car insurance rates (registering here this month because my NC plate is expiring) and additional bills. The company manager called today and told me that tomorrow would be my last day. No more Disney discounts lol.

So now I'm on a serious job-hunt again. It's frightening to be completely without a job, but I'm going to look at it as a new start. I'm constantly trying to find a job in the animal care/training field, but in the meantime I will need to take any job that I can get. At this most recent job I was worn down so much by the time I got home that I simply would go to sleep, wake up, and go to work again...leaving no time to search for an animal-related job. I'm going to make sure that doesn't happen again.

And of course, I can't thank my awesome roommates enough for their support and help. You guys are the best <3

The diagram you posted appears to be a skeleton for a lab or great pyrenees judging by the thickness of the body and the droopy ears. Of course if this is a hybrid then you're spot on! The artist put "wolf" in the keywords of the submission, but the diagram they linked is clearly the skeletal structure of a stocky, large dog like a lab or great pyrenees [the droopy ears are visible], so I wanted to be helpful to any future wolf art of theirs.

They insulted my art after I attempted to give some honest-to-god helpful advice. Wtf. However, I can see someone getting defensive over getting advice/critique on something they've worked hard on, so maybe I'm in the wrong here. But they don't need to be rude and immature about it.

That is what I made this pay period (2 weeks) after calculating all of my expenses which, right now, do not include rent. This is fucking ridiculous. In 2 weeks, I spent $269.54 on gas and tolls (even with a SunPass) to get to my job. Everything else (except for the WHOPPING $7) was food, ferret supplies, and other miscellaneous necessary things. I would be making more money by drawing things for people all day.

I know I'm going to be moving closer to Orlando in the very near future, but until then I can't have a job there. I don't make enough to even remotely live off of :C My parents are already helping with my car insurance and phone bill right now...if I had to pay those and rent, I'd be hundreds in debt every month. This sucks because even if I find an animal-related job in Orlando, I can't afford to take the job unless it's full-time and paying a good deal more than minimum wage (which just isn't going to happen in this competitive field). So...I guess I need to find a job in Oviedo ASAP so I can quit the job in Orlando, so that there's SOME hope of saving a tiny bit of money.
