Our goddess Nyx.
Lover and protector of her children.
Giving us what we need.
United together by what we are.
Bound by our goddess.
Goddess of night and worshiped by vampyres.
Daughter of chaos.
Bearing children alone without a father.
Her lover and brother Erebus.
Two children bore to Erebus.
Bringing the night and stars to the world with her sons Hypnos and Thanatos.
Bringing either sleep or death to humanity.
She is wise, kind, caring, beautiful, loving and compassionate.
Loving each of us as we are.
Knowing she is always listening to our every prayer.
Giving knowledge to those who ask.
Her love and guidence always with each of us.
Bearing her mark of a cresent moon,
Protection comes to her children.

To the element Earth:
I am grounded to Earth.
The Earth calms my mind and soul.
Though my body may be tired and worn
The Earth shall sooth my mind and soul.
May the Earth take my body
Back into its gentle embrace.
Cradling its child when her slumber comes.
At peace and at rest with this element.
Calm as the whispers through the trees.

my thoughts are many but never ending.
i am unsure as to what i should do in either this life or the next.

Let Earth guide and sooth my mind and soul in times of trouble and uncertainty
with the aid of Spirit to guide my path.
My journey is long but i pray that it be a joyous one in all things.
