Can anyone help me out with what's going on?

So those of you who are wondering how much I charge for commissions:
For just drawings, i charge between $15 (for a traditional pencil sketch) and $120 for a full color and shading with a complex background.

For animations, I charge $10/second - that's $100 every 10 seconds. (animations are flat color only)

For 3D pen figures, first of all please understand these take a lot of time to make. If you thought that 3D printing was time consuming, it's nothing compared to these because I'm actually doing the work myself and not the 3D printer! So the price depends on the size, amount of color and complexity of the figure. A 6 inch (or 15 cm) figure can take me up to a week to make, but a 12 inch (30 cm) figure can take me 2-3 weeks.

So for a 6 in figure, my fixed price is $250
And for a 12 in figure, my fixed price is $500

But it all depends on the complexity of the character, the pose, the colors and patterns, etc. These factors may add to the fixed price.

Now I know that these are expensive and not a whole lot of people carry around this kind of money, so I will charge these in quarterly payments with the first 25% being the deposit to get started and the the figure will be shipped out after the final payment is made.

I'm taking another trip to Scotland in February to attend Scotiacon in Glasgow. But my budget is going to be very tight though the month of January after ANW. I may not be able to save much money for food and con money before I go.

A few friends kept questioning me for why I never found a name for my wyvern OC. To be honest, I just never really could think of anything unique.
Finally I decided a name for her, and there's a bit of a story behind it.
I decided to name her Sarah after a girl I knew. She was my neighbor from when I was a kid, through my time in grammar school. We had our occasional disagreements, but we've always been good friends, and I'd have to say, that we might have been boyfriend/girlfriend, but around the end of grammar school, she moved to Vancouver, WA.

I saw her a few years later in Vancouver, and it was good to see her, and then around the time I graduated from high school, I bumped into her and found out that she moved back into town. I wanted to hang out and possibly go on a few dates, but I had no job and no money, so I had to take a break and find a job which took me several months to find one in town, but by then, she moved again and unfortunately she didn't have a phone so I had no way of contacting her. At that time social media was just starting up. So off and on, I tried for years to search for her on social media. I tried Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Instagram, I searched for her for years, and for years, I never found her, never came up with anything. I eventually came by her mom, but she wasn't active on social media. Finally last year, I found her. I just typed in the Microsoft Edge Search engine: her name and the city, and I found her: She died back in 2013 and I never knew this whole time.
I don't know how she died, it didn't say in the article, but I was heartbroken when I found out.
I've never officially had a girlfriend, I've just never really been great at it, but I felt like she was the closest I would ever have been to having one.

I decided to name my wyvern after her.
Her name is now Sarah.

I know I keep saying I'm usually quick at replying, but I need to take it easy with screen time the next few days.
A couple days ago, I experienced dizziness and even vertigo. I'm not certain but I think I'm getting cyber sickness from too much time on the computer, considering ive been constantly on the computer doing art the last few days and not to mention fiddling around on my phone in bed.
I've been getting eyestrain off and on for at least a couple of years but in recent weeks it's been getting more severe, and now, like I said, I'm starting to get headaches and dizziness.
I'm gonna visit an eye doctor asap and probably a general doctor to determine whether or not this is just the eyes or something more serious.
But in the meantime, I need to minimize screen time on my phone and computer. So I'm going to be a little slow at replies for the next few days.

I might open up a few more drawing or animation commissions within the next couple of weeks, but I want to see where my current finances take me.

In the mean time, I would like to announce that I'll soon be opening up fursuit commissions.
As you know, I've been getting into making my own fursuits. I made Willy and Bandit, and I'm currently working on the 2.0 of my Vaporeon sona RJ.

But I want to step it up and try to build something out of these skills.
Come 2026, I'm going to start making a line of generic head bases in my style and putting them up online for those who might want to commission me for a head.
The head bases that don't sell will be made into random species and put up for purchase with the option of adding hands, feet and a tail (this will of course add to the price). I still have to determine the price of the heads. But once I have them ready, I'll be putting them up for commission.

I'm about to take a trip across the ocean to South Africa, but I need to make a few extra bucks.
I need to get a few things before I go, and I also need to pay back a friend that did me a favor or two a while back. I can probably pay him back, but I won't have much money left when I take off and that'll leave me a couple days broke when I get there. So, if there's something you wanna commission me for, then feel free to contact me.

I've always considered myself a friendly, social person, and I appreciate when people want to add me as a friend and chat, but it's obvious now that I'm getting taken advantage of.
Over the last few months, I have received friend requests from people I do not recognize; no links, no mutual servers, no mutual friends, hardly any information about them. So, I ask them who they are, how they came across me, and why they want to be friends. Those are questions I ask anyone who wants to add me on Discord if I don't recognize them; I never liked to reject friend requests, so I give people the chance.
So, when I get these friend requests, I ask them my questions, and I get answers like:
"I don't know how I came across you, I just found your Discord tag." (my Discord link is publicly shown on only two places: FurAffinity and Inkbunny)
"I just saw your link and thought you looked like a cool guy."
"I'm just looking for friends"
"I think you're cute"
"I love your characters... Can I draw your character... Can you pay for this commission?"

I know what you're all gonna say: They're scammers. And I eventually came to that conclusion, myself, on all said people. So, you don't have to give me an earful about it.
Some of them talk now and then still, but many of them just chat a little bit and eventually disappear forever.

I'm going to make a purge on Discord. Deleting all of said people. From now on I will NOT accept friend requests from random people, unless I recognize the name of the person sending the request. Like I said, my Discord is accessible only through FurAffinity or Inkbunny, so if you wish for me to accept, you must send me a direct message on FA or IB.

Also, those of you who I do have on both Discord and Telegram, I'm going to go ahead and remove you from my Discord. It's nothing against you guys, I'd just prefer to narrow my friends down to one app or the other. That, and to be honest, I just prefer Telegram over Discord.

I had an idea what to do for Vore Day this year, but at the time, I was planning on hitting Eurofurence, and my idea mainly focused around a collaboration between myself and a couple other people at EF.
Unfortunately, I had to pull out of going to EF this year and I'm instead going to South AfriFur (the African furry convention).
So I really don't know what I want to do for Vore Day this year, and even if I had a few ideas, there's no way on Earth, Heaven or Hell I'd be able to get it finished in time.
I really hate when Vore Day comes along and I can't think of anything unique. >m<

Hey people, I've been a little off and on about this decision the last month, but I've decided to skip Furlandia this year.
For one thing, I wasn't able to get the time off, someone else at work scheduled a vacation at that time and it's first come, first served. I have Friday off on the schedule, but even if I were to go that day, I still have not preregisistered due to my finances, and judging by the registration line last year, I probably wouldn't be able to get my badge until around noon, and I would have to leave no later than 4, that won't give me much time to catch up with any old friends, and definitely not enough to visit the Dealer's Den - I won't have much money to spend anyway. So yeah, I'm not wasting my money on even a one day pass with that short a window.

If I can put in for Sunday, June 8 off, then I can probably attend WFS, but I am cancelling going to Furlandia this year.

I know I keep announcing that commissions are open. For the most part, I've been just trying to raise a little extra funds since I've been a little short, but now I really need some help.

Last week I was doing alright with funds, but this year, I'm going to SAFC (South AfriFur Convention), and they opened up online registration this last Friday. I was going to a wait a few days for when I could better afford it, but unlike most other cons, for SAFC, the admission includes hotel stay and 2 meals per day! I didn't realize how fast the tickets would go, and I had to spend pretty much the rest of my funds on my SAFC ticket immediately! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a ticket to the main hotel, I had to get the ticket in the secondary hotel >m<

I only had like $40 left for a whole week and I was trying to minimize my spending all week, and right when I was feeling like I was going to make it, I got hit with one of those fucking surprise-subscription charges that never alerts me before hand so I could probably have been ready. Now I'm over-fucking-drafted!!! DX

So that being said if there's anyone out there who'd be willing to help me out, it would mean a lot to me. Thank you.

I recently took a trip to VancouFur, but my paycheck for the remainder of the week after returning home was unfortunately not very big.

I'm in for a busy year.

First, I'm starting on my own animated film project, but this will take me a long time to work. I might post some of update of it on Patreon, but right now I'm only writing the script. So it'll be a while before I start sharing anything.

Second, I need to get some more 3D pen projects going. I'm planning on featuring some of my works at the art show at next year's Anthro Northwest. But I don't have a lot to feature at the moment, so im going to be very busy with those.

And finally, I'm taking a trip this year to South Africa 🇿🇦 . One of my closest friends here on FA lives in South Africa, and I'd like to go meet him irl, bit also I always wanted to see the African landscape and wildlife up close. I just thought it was a great opportunity. Furthermore, I'm going to be attending the only furry convention in Africa! Yes, Africa has a furry convention, it's called South AfriFur Furry Convention (SAFC) and it's held in Johannesburg, South Africa. I'm excited to go to this one!

So yeah, busy year for me. I'll probably open commissions only when I feel it's an emergency.
