Since i'll no longer be working on raising hell anymore, I was wondering if anyone else would be take over the project. I'll still use the idea of supernatural beings taking care of babies for something else but I don't mind if anyone wants to do the AU in my place, either. Please lemme know if you're interested.

I'm sorry to say this, but I'm done with Raising Hell.

I don't think many want to see a comic where the characters of the hellaverse (primarily charlie, Loona and Octavia) are babies. Honestly, trying to find a more family-friendly AU of this was never going to fly no matter how good it would be. This series has got enough controversies of its own and I don't wanna add more to that pile.

And If I'm gonna be real with you, I don't think Hazbin or helluva are good shows at all. They're really stupid shows that also happen to be fun to watch for at least half an hour. So I thought about taking hellaverse and turning it into something even stupider. But alas, it was not meant to be.

Don't get me wrong, I still like the idea of a supernatural family taking care of babies, especially as someone who is halfway to their 30s now and as someone who may never have kids of my own (I'd suck as a parent ngl), I'd at least wanna do something for a sibling of mine who got married a few years ago in the case they ever have a kid (even tho now is not a good time to do so)

With that said, I've already had an idea for the retooling, which will most likely be part of the terra magica universe I'm working on atm, and will feature my cyborg lich OC Katrina, who will be hired to work by the angels of the Elysian realm (this universe's equivalent of heaven), to take care of the cherubs, who would basically be baby angels in this universe (tho, I'm still somewhat debating on that one) especially the older cherubs, since they're prone to being more chaotic, and Katrina is an expert in handling chaotic situations.

That's just the jist of it. It won't be anything too special. Since it will be a more original project, it won't probably get as much attention if it remains a Hazbin AU project, but I don't care. This is something as someone who wishes to be more serious with their work, on top of wanting to do something that isn't pure goonbait either. I also wanna try doing something a bit more family friendly as possible (or as family friendly as this project can be lol) or at least something that isn't strictly for adults.

I'm working on a test comic to see how it works out. I hope you understand, especially since I wanna do more with the terra magica universe, and this will be a first step into expanding that universe (and it would be much easier for me to do while I work on the main story). Plus, at least you'll be seeing more of Katrina now and I have a better excuse to draw her more often now.

Anyways, enough of my rambling, I'll be giving you a preview of this comic I'm working as soon as I can hopefully.

TL;DR:
I'm dropping Raising Hell. The idea of baby versions of Hellaverse characters just isn’t clicking, and I don’t think Hazbin or Helluva are great shows anyway. Instead, I’m retooling the concept into something original within my Terra Magica universe. It'll follow my cyborg lich OC, Katrina, who’s hired by angels to care for chaotic baby cherubs. It’ll be more family-friendly and personal, even if it gets less attention. I’m working on a test comic now and hope to share a preview soon. Thanks for understanding!

So, real talk: Is anyone interested in my hazbin/helluva AU project raising hell? Otherwise, I'm considering just retooling it to either have it take place in the heaven realm of the hellaverse?

Or just maybe do something entirely original (maybe even have Katrina be a main character in it). I don't think everyone is jazzed up about an AU where characters like Charlie, Loona and Octavia are babies, or the fact that the fanbase may not be keen on Stolas and Stella having a better relationship or anything like that.

I'm personally leaning towards making it something more original but I wanna know what you folks think. Please lemme know in the comments!
