I'm getting close to fixing up some personal stuff and will be back to the art pretty soon. Hopefully I can show more awesome stuff once I get things smoothed over. :D

Hey all, so I'm officially 34! I haven't been able to catch up much on my art as I've been pretty sour lately. I'm not sure why I'm so down right now, but I'm hoping to break out of that mess. I have few things I have to finish up and get up to speed on. I do have a few sketches for the R34 pinup thing I was going to do, but I have a few ideas what to draw up first.

I sometimes hate hitting the brakes on things, but I get overwhelmed easily and I need to slam on the brakes every once in while to clear my head. This way at least I can think more clearly.

I am close to a solution on a major idea of mine, I really want to get past whatever goofiness is happening to keep me from finishing it. I have trouble getting focused because I feel stuck on whatever stupid reason on why I can't finish this or that. I think it's because I'm surrounded by the wrong people. When I was in Pittsburgh, I was surrounded by like minded people and came back to problem people.

Problem people have nothing but problems for every awesome idea you come up with, and I need solution people. I'm a solutions guy, but problem people have nothing but problems (most of which are nonexistent) for each solution. I need to get out of that thinking and focus on how to get things going again. I had some great times up there and I need to recreate that atmosphere here. That way I can get more art out. I think that is the best solution for me ^.^.

Anyway, I'm going to dinner and get some food.

Not much new is on the home front. I've been a bit in the doldrums lately and mostly working. So I'm currently working on a few (few) things at the moment:

R34: So I'm coming up with an idea for my 34th birthday coming up on the 21st of June. While doodling a for fun pic in spirit of my upcoming birthday, I noticed that most people abbreviate my name to R and that this will be my 34th birthday. So why not celebrate with a Rule 34 pinup :D I'm not sure of who will be the final drawing, but I'm open to suggestions along the lines of 80's cartoon since I'm an 80's kid. I can't wait to get this started!


Heads Up: I'm mulling over sculpting full size heads again and may have an idea for on in particular from a favorite artist. I've been stumped on what to make for the last two years since I graduated and considering this time to make a bust sculpture. I've toyed with popular characters like my favorite zombies Dr. Tongue and even Bub to a few random characters, including xenomorphs. This is a for fun project mostly and I'm not sure of full details yet. I may have to wait on it since I haven't sent out for the activators for my acrylic materials to start producing acrylic eyes again. This will be a must because I want it to have some sense of realism. I'll likely send out for hair as well.


Sculpt Project: I moved forward on sculpting project by working out an armature template to make it to scale. I've been toying with sculpting popular characters as well into small figurines. I'm still up in the air on this one, but I think it will be fun to start working again with clay.


So far that's what I have set up. I'll be back with updates and hopefully with more art.

I'm back after taking some time away to get some personal things taken care of. Most of this last week we've been ducking tornadoes. We had two hit close by on the same day, on get up to a strong EF-3 with winds up to 160 mph. Thankfully there has been no fatalities, but there was minor damage after a few trailers got blown away as they were in the rural areas of the counties. We've been dealing with hail and biblical amounts of rain in the past few days as June starts.

A few class mates of mine lost their home after a tornado hit Indiana and drop a tree on their cars. There might've been damage to their home as well, not to sure. It's been a wild month. Even now we have storms popping up and it's well after midnight. Anyway I'm back for the time being to see how everyone is doing. Expect mass favoriting as I catch up.

Really I'm needing a shot of adrenaline right now, I'm so tired. So all else aside, we are prepping for inventory and it's taken up most of my time this week trying to prepare for the big week next week.

So I've been working so many weird hours, that I'm literally a zombie with dark eyes and such. I haven't been able to focus in the last few weeks on what I've been wanting to work on. I hate that. I feel so far behind on things it's not funny. Hopefully I can catch up soon on everything when I'm not falling asleep in my chair. I'm that beat.

Heck I slept in my car because it was raining in biblical proportions outside and I didn't feel like going home soaked. It's the most sleep I have in almost a week. It was like I was just launched face first into the Twilight Zone. Hopefully I'll stop looking like I'm half dead and can get some work done.

Just thought I'd check in.

Well I lost my dad sunday and the funeral was yesterday. I've been flying under the radar for a bit since last week and haven't really had to the motivation to get any art done. I barely moved anything right now to get something down. It's so surreal right now I can't really process it all, even when we saw him off. Mostly draining was the family drama was on full and the lid on it to boil, it was like a powderkeg really to blow.

I'm ready to crash for a week right now. Where's my bed?

 zaboom another great artist with some amazing talent! Originally the incredible  plushybutt,  zaboom is moving into the digital arena and DAAAAAAYYYYYYUUUMMM, it's amazing! Such beautiful anthro girls and they are starting a Patreon soon, so get over there and start showing them some love!


Ok as for me, I'm just landing on my feet and sent out for more supplies I need. So I'm a bit on the broke side for the next week, but it's all good, I really need to cool it on the fast food for a bit. Last thing I need is a gout flare up from the endless sea of Dr. Pepper I've been inhaling all this last month. That and I'll drop some weight when we hit the gym again SCORE!

Anyway I'm still noodling on a project or two while I wait for critical stuff to arrive. Among other prop build, I have a guitar pedal project that I've finally broke ground on last night and a major project is moving forward (albeit at a turtles pace) to coming to fruition. I'll be posting progress on them at a later time, for now all I have is just the working drawings that I'm refining as I get closer and closer to finishing up a bunch of loose ends.

Art? I need to get back too it. I've been sketching a lot lately, nothing much just practice and planning for other things. I'm finally getting it together this year. I have to list what's over due as well and finally tackle that mess. I apologize if I get scatterbrained, I have ADHD and my mind goes in a 1000 directions at once. Or at least it would in the past. Now I'm beginning to recognize my highs and lows, then planning around them to get things done more practically. Yep it's a brand spanking new version of me! Anyway, I'm off to bed!

Got lots of clay and more fun stuff coming in to start making things. I'm excited. I'm trying to get back in the saddle sculpting again, lots of ideas kicking around but had to leave tons of stuff behind to make the move back home. Thankfully my buddy  ardrich_keybus got to keep a lot of the cool stuff that would've been otherwise thrown out. Been busy getting things fixed up to make room for new things. Back to art soon, :D

Ok I did mention I was working on concept art for a project that came to an abrupt end recently. I had to pull the plug due to illness and a few problems that came with clashing schedules and such. It was a rough time, but I'm back on my feet and ready to rock. Currently I'm revising my schedule and a few goals I have for my ideas, I tend to overwhelm myself with things and having a good breakdown is key!

Yeah a few more tumbles down the rabbit hole and I think I'll have it right this time. Oh boy, yeah I'm a mess at times, what can I say. One thing I was stuck on was measuring certain resources used, this would be critical in knowing how to scale it up later. I'm at the mercy of all the details until yesterday when I finally brokedown my goalset to include these critical changes. In doing so, I'm hitting reset on my work and starting my 4 month project over again, now improved.

Ok, back to work!

My phone's screen stopped working, so I've been in the dark since last night. *heavy sigh* So if you are texting me, sorry, I can't text because I can't even open the phone XD.

Anyway I've been upbeat about my misfortune and the universe didn't miss a beat to bring more joy into my world. I went to the store and bought some much needed things, windshield washer fluid and new shoes (because hurts). While checking out a woman came up and pointed out that she had forgot to clear lemons from machine and I wound up buying them. In all it was less than a buck and I was goodhumored about it. So life literally gave me lemons XDDDDDDDDDDDD.

I was busting at the seams with laughter, so irony much wow. XDDDDDDDDDDD*is dead*

So my project kind of fell through mostly because of the holidays and falling ill prior to the New Year, so I've been recovering quietly. Thankfully Christmas is over and I can FINALLY breathe again. I'm not used to the holidays anymore after a two year gap of having no job. I had to shelve a few things for the time being until I was fully well, hopefully I can get things up and going now that I have time to just breathe.

I'm going through my stuff and getting things together, just piecing things to flow in a new way. It feel great though :D. I'm feeling very positive about this new year, I have plenty to catch up on and get finished. It's all about time management and building focus on what has to get done. Ok everybody, hope you are having a good new year. Enjoy the new art :D

So I got a new desk recently and I want to populate my art space with good art. So I'm looking for some original art from my favorite artists to inspire me when I'm working on something new. So far I've bought a few prints that I'm going to be setting up in an 8 x 10 frame that will rotate out every so often and I'm thinking of getting another poster or two of my favorite furry girls.

So far I have mostly Bernal's famous Dawn of the SexyFur fame and I have a sexy lioness from Scappo that recently arrived. I want more! More sexy awesome art display in my office space for my eyes only XD. Any recommendations?

Hey guys I'm a bit late. I spent New Years Eve babysitting and wound up in bed early, because work in the morning. I've been a bit under the weather and wasn't able to finish much art, but that's ok, it's a New Year. Anyway, hope you all are enjoying things and that everything is going well for you. I'm hoping to get back to thing soon enough now that my crazy work schedule has slowed down.

This is the first time in almost a month I've had off at all. So far I've caught up on my student loans and we are in the process of getting that straightened out. And so far things are going good. Hope you guys are doing well, I have to run to the store for some medicine.

It's been one hell of a year, I feeling like everything was just flying by. January I was rushing to the finish line with college and February I was graduated and flying back home. My buddy  ardrich_keybus was awesome enough to be there for my big day, being the first in my family to actually graduate college!

He got to see all the crazy things I made and even has a few things I had given him. I was sad that I was being rushed and we had just a few moments to hang out. He got to meet my mom and my brother, for all but a few moments. Again it was a big rush to get to the post office and ship things as they wanted use out before the next students moved in.

From there I went back to Texas, where I fell into a kind of slump I was out of a job again and few opportunities to use my new skills showed up. More so it was just a brief experience. I kind of felt stuck for a bit until I got a job and started to repay my student debt. So I'm working hard to get it paid off, and trying to get things going again.

Anyway I've started working on getting going on a new project which I recently debuted the concept art for a character design I did. Unfortunately I sick recently and I'm about two weeks behind schedule. I'm trying to get over this mess so I can start the New Year healthy and feeling awesome.

So far so good though, I was quite ahead of the game and hope to be back on top before the New Year. Here's to seeing you all on the flip side!

Just wanted to say have a Merry Christmas.

I had a bit of a rough weekend, but emergencies aside, it wasn't serious. But I did get some closure on some things with the person in question, which is a great way to end the year. I came home exhausted after a 4 hour road trip back, me and my brother both were tired. We barely stayed awake during the trip back. It took a toll on us, but thankfully we are home safe.

Anyway, I decided to celebrate early and post some new art. Hopefully I can get some New Years awesome done in time for 2019 to roll in. I had planned on something a bit big, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks again!

Rather than let the bots land the banhammer on me, I went ahead and let Tumblr go. I figured I'd do that much anyway, so I'm going to be here more now than before. Thankfully I went out with a bang and had my fill of Tumblr's better stuff before the exodus continues increasing.

Alas, my art blog is no more. With Tumblr going the way of BlogSpot (who remembers them?), it was only a matter of time before I jumped ship and let it go. I couldn't hang out much longer anyway, I don't think there were many people left watching me to begin with. Much of the people I did follow have already bailed, so I figured I do the same. With the Tumblr purge one week away, I had better things to do with my time rather than sit and wonder if and when my blog was next.

So I'm looking for a new place to hang my hat as I've cut back a lot on the extra sites on I'm as of late. I'm done to 3 from 5 originally, but I'm looking to expand my horizons a bit. With s-Tumblr on the fritz, I'm looking into a few places for alternate postings in the near future.

I'm considering opening my own website as well, that's a possibility. For now I'm keeping it simple and considering the following:

* Newgrounds
* Hentai Foundry
* Weasyl (I'm already there, just need to update/clean up my gallery)

If anyone knows the pro's/con's I'm all ears! I'm staying put here on FA, I'm just looking to expand where I am on the weebs. Anyway back to the furry smutty smutness :D.

While the holidays are in full swing with the end of the year approaching, I'm currently working on concept sketches for an upcoming project. So far I've got some important brainstorming out of the way and will be working on various stages over the next 4 months. It's exciting to see me getting back to work on things I love to do. I'm also thinking of catching up on some old work and finishing off overdue pieces since this year has been slow.

So it's likely I've developed a bit of a sinus infection, it's just starting. I can tell because my teeth are aching and my sinuses are packed. My face feels like it's going to explode.

Had to work Black Friday and I could already feel my equilibrium going off kilter. Yeah it's been a day. Yeah I'm off to bed and getting some medicine.

So I'm on overnights this next week in preparation for Black Friday(?) and/or Christmas this week, Wanted to wish all my new peeps a happy Gobble Day early and be thankful that you are supporting me and my zany work. We got the hot water back on so I can finally have a hot shower rather than a chilly one, we are also having someone look into the drain out back as well.

I've begun remodeling my studio space shortly after the work was done making room for new things. I got my art space almost the way I need it now. I slowed down a bit art wise, I managed to sketch an idea for a prototype sculpture I want to make. So far that's about it, as I'm still moving around furniture and unpacking boxes. I also got my favorite clay in, thankfully before the freezing weather because water based.

Also check out my buddy  ardrich_keybus because awesome ok. He does some amazing work and I think it would absolutely make his day!

Where do I start, other than it's been super busy at my dayjob. Retail is getting busy here with the holidays gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are fixing up our 5th hot water leak this Monday and I probably won't have access to my art stuff for a bit. Likely a week or less, I'm hoping.

On the upside, I did manage to get my hands on a pressure tank for my future acrylic eyes to be properly cast. All I need now is the clear coat and activator for the resin. So I'm in the green there. Likely I'll be sculpting a small scale figure as soon as I can get the frame correct and experimenting with new materials as well.

So far so good, hopefully I punch a sketch or two before Monday :D.

Ok so Ive been busy little tiger lately. I'm currently working on helping an Etsy maker with a project we will be debuting later and I have a few things I need to complete as well. So I'm going to be a bit busy this coming week. Included is a possible project I've wanted to make for years, just a simple sculpture I would love to have made.

Anyway, art will be a bit slow as things are just now calming down on my end. I'll post more when it becomes available.
