Well, not technically until like 7:30 this evening, but yeah. Today's my birthday. ^^

Well, this has been a screwed up year. Well, okay, not that entirely. Just...gah, school crap. I thought I'd <i>graduate</i> this year. Then life be like "nope!" So I'm looking at yet <i>another</i> year in high school. And everyone else is about to graduate.

So the plan goes like this: I'm going to look into GED classes. See if I can take them over the summer. And, two, I'm going to continue to look for a job.

I just feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. It seemed like I finally had a chance at this one job I applied for, but then I slipped up on an essential step and I suspect I fell off the consideration list after that. Well, hey, I learned from the experience anyway. *shrug*
I'm mainly interested in cleaning and janitorial jobs, actually. I'm a slob at housekeeping (oh man, my dad is rolling over in his grave now, I tell ya, haha), but I have on numerous occasions done cleaning jobs for others. So I <I>know</i> I can do an excellent job when cleaning under orders.

I'm coming to accept the fact that I'm not done with school just yet. Maybe I need another year to get my bearings anyway, IDK.

And for now...IDK, I'm going to try to come up with some more short-term goals to keep myself busy (hopefully), and to boost my self-esteem a little.

I just couldn't wait to see it dubbed. lol

The episode wasn't all that great other than that--and the whole "acorn" joke. Okay okay, so Gai comparing sizes with Kakashi (with Gai apparently being "like an acorn") could maybe count as fanservice-y, which is looked down on, but it. Was. Funny. And unexpected. I burst out laughing and verbally going something like "they doing what I think they're doing?"and was promptly angrily informed by my family that I was interrupting their sleep.

Aside from that, the episode was a bit of a snooze fest. But, eh, not the worst filler episode ever. And only one more week of fillers left before we go back to canon!

And why am I making a journal about this? Because I felt like it, and admittedly I'm not sure my watchers on dA would think well of me for...IDK, laughing at a "comparing sizes" joke. A lot of my dA watchers watch me seemingly for the fact that I'm a Christian and have stamps in my gallery about my faith. And to many Christians, any even remotely sexual jokes are taboo. *shrug* I used to think that way myself, but these days I figure: that stuff is natural, so why should it be wrong to joke about?

Eh, no, I'm not normally one to ramble on about newest episodes for any of the shows I watch. This is a one-in-a-great-while thing. Just ignore me. My anime-filled weekends are usually the highlight of my week, and I like talking about it once in a while.

What made you choose the species of your main Character?
Collies are my favorite breed of dog and I don't know very many people with a Collie fursona. So it was a more original idea than my original wolf fursona, and because I love Collies so much it reflects me better. I tend to think I share some personality traits with Collies, too. :P

Is your character just like you, or how you want to be?
She's pretty much meant to be me in animal form and I draw her to represent myself in most instances.

Does your character have the same personality you have?
Yes.

Does your character have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Pretty much.

Does your character look like you at all?
Same eye color as me. And recently I changed her "hair" to reflect my actual hair style better by giving her long bangs.

Is your character the same gender as you, if not why?
Originally my fursona was a male. This was partly because as a kid I used to want to be male, but later on I realized that was a dumb reason to make my fursona male. She still has a male name, though. Laddie.

Do you have more then one main character?
I guess the closest would be Roque. He was originally a Webkinz Signature wolf, but later on turned into a RP character. And for a while he was a bit of a second fursona. His personality is very similar to mine, too.

No real backstory, unless saying her backstory is exactly the same as mine counts.

Not unless being a merle-coated Collie counts. Most people know Collies as sable and white, like Lassie. Merle Collies aren't too common in the everyday life of most people--but I think it's the most beautiful coat coloration.

Don't think so. I've parted with other characters for varying reasons (especially past fursonas), but in Laddie's case I think I'd just change her to fit me.

I'd like to, but no. I want to commission someone to do a fursuit of Laddie eventually, but seeing as that's expensive and I have other interests and important things my money needs to go to that'll be a while.
I do now possess ears and a tail--and while they aren't exactly like my 'sona's ears and tail, I chose ones with similar colors for a reason.

Not home at the moment and will be back and forth from home all week.
Well, woke up Friday morning to a mysterious message on the answering machine and facebook message, then found out my uncle had passed away. My grandma lived with him and I've been staying with her the past couple of days to help out. The funeral was today.
That's three relatives passing in one year. (First was my grandmother on my mom's side and then my dad was next.) I wasn't particularly close to my uncle, but he was a wealth of common sense and an inspiration to me to try to be less lazy. Didn't expect this at all.

Anyways, just wanted to update...
When I actually return back home I plan to trim the hedges, see if any weedeating or cutting needs to be done, organize my dressers and bookshelf a little better. My bookshelf still has books from when I was like 10. And it's out of room for any of the kinds of books I like to read now.
And then I shall sit back and enjoy the new video games my brother got recently. xD Well, only in my free time. I'm not doing school until September, but I still have things I should get done before that comes up.

I'm starting to think about what I'll do when I eventually move out, too. But that's getting way ahead of myself, because first I'll need a steady job and my own vehicle. xD
But hey, before I didn't even want to think about moving out, so I guess I'm maturing a little more. IDK.

I've had this account for a bit, decided to upload some shtuff today.

So far I've uploaded some my fursona art, or art of characters who used to be my fursonas. (Which some is art from several years back. You can tell by the difference in quality compared to the art I produce now. lol)

It's 4:30, and I have work to go and do, so I need to stop uploading for the time being. But I plan to upload some of my other art, including art of my characters, and maybe some of the fanart I've done. Guess I'll do that this evening. Or some of it.

A lot of changes have happened in my life in recent months. Or seems like it, anyway.
I got a kitten recently. Thought it was a she, but when I took it to the vet this morning they said it's definitely a male. lol Well, at least the name I chose for it is gender neutral. He has some minor issues, or I'm pretty sure they are relatively minor....worms, ear mites, and coccidia. Went home with meds for all that. The entire visit and all that was $300!

Well, I better go see if the kitten wants to eat before I head off.
