Soooooo I have been silently lurking on here and at least checking my new submissions/favorite-ing things for a while now, but I am going to perhaps....try to start posting some of my own art I get done on here again too. That is if I have the time around working and other life events as well. Sometimes I get crazy busy or life decides it's time for me to suffer greatly :D

Usually I just can't seem to finish things in a timely manner or I hate my own drawings too much to want to post them up. Do all artists hate what they do?? I have that problem really bad it seems....it is....unfortunate. That being said, I really do appreciate anyone's support through friendly comments or reviews on my art, even the tiniest stuff! Keep letting me know what you think and I might start finding my drive again.

Title says it all. Going under the scope to try to get a stone out that is still causing me way too many problems and affecting my everyday life. Hopefully nothing goes wrong, they find it, and get it out of me. I guess its in the narrowest part of my tubing down by my bladder now and is probably stuck, but hopefully this will take care of everything.

Sooooooo....as most of you (anyone paying attention) might have noticed, I haven't been on here much at ALL anymore. While I was taking a bit of an art break at first because I got burned out, I now have OTHER and more severe reasons for having to put my art aside.

I have been in the ER four times now in the past month for kidney stones. Let me tell you right now, this is something I will never wish upon ANYONE. This pain is by far the worse thing I have yet to experience in my entire life. There is no equivalent or words I can even describe the amount of pain.

Did you know you can throw up so much, so hard to the point that you literally puke....liver bile? No one told me and that in itself felt like something exploded inside my abdomen. I actually went into shock during my fourth trip(yesterday) and that was also a new experience for me.

On top of all this, the stones are too small to preform surgery to remove which at this point I would much rather have them do it that way just to get all this over with.

I have two more stones to pass says the CT scan. Having only passed ONE at this point. One is in the left kidney and the other is in the right....the right one probably being the next to pass. More pain of passing it on its way. I'm so upset and just worn out that I'm starting to pray for God to just get this over with quickly and to please help me in dealing with this pain/nausea and I'm not a crazy religious person.

Please wish me well and you probably wont be hearing from me for a while still.

Sorry this took so long to post, but I've been pretty busy this entire week and weekend. >_<

As far as my ball python goes though, he's looking better I think! I took him to the vet immediately following the last weekend (Monday) and my vet checked him out.

My ball python had some swelling around one side of his face by his eye that taped into his nose....I was thinking it was sinus related or the start of some respiratory infection deep inside. I myself looked in his mouth and didn't see anything, but had my vet do the same and even he said it looked clean. He said mouth/throat was good, absolutely no RI or any signs showing the start of one.

He said the swelling wasn't abscesses or anything either, just soft tissue. He told me it was likely an injury and asked if he had anything like set down on his head or hit him. I was like "not that I'm aware of." So he said no meds and just to keep an eye on it because it definitely looked injury related, and if it gets worse to bring him back.
It hasn't gotten any worse and despite it being really hard to tell I think it's shrunk a lil bit even. I did some reading online when I got home that day and saw that face swelling is in fact a common sign of nose rubbing and stuff, so he might have just spent a lot of time digging or trying to get out of his cage recently ect where he injured his face. I don't know why, but maybe he just was uncomfortable about something. I've cleaned his cage and it seems he stays in his hide more now again and is calm.

Sooooo.....I'm just letting people know that I am not touching any art right now and might not be for at least a little bit (week or so) because one of my ball pythons was found sick today in his cage. :((((
It's looking like the start of an RI probably because it's been too humid in the cage/substrate, but I can't be sure. I wont know until I can get him to the vet and get treatment started for him.

I feel just awful because he is my number one FAVORITE ball python and I've had him for 6 years now, raised up from a baby. I was being a lil neglectful on keeping a closer eye on the humidity as of late and if anything happens to him I'll be devastated....

That being said, I'm investing all free time I have into getting him well again or at least back on track to getting better!!! I don't want to lose him and I'm very stressed out right now because of this. I really love him despite this being a snake....which not everyone understands around here. >:(

This is also going to cost me more money I don't have right now so if ANYONE is willing to maybe throw a lil cash in a donation this way to help me pay for him to go to the vet that would be MORE than welcome!!! Anything, even a dollar, could be a big help in the long run.
I'm not trying to beg, I'm just saying if anyone is feeling helpful/charitable it'd be MUCH appreciated so I can use it towards helping my pet that I love dearly.

I have commented further inside her journal talking about Indiana's individual Bill to ban what they deem "dangerous animals" coming July 2012. PLEASE read these comments and help not just me, but all of those who live in Indiana and are are snake owners.

Whether you like them or not, the government wont just stop here if they are given even ONE inch in taking away our American rights as pet owners. More species will later be added to the lists as they push harder and harder to take away more exotic species. Something as non-lethal as a guinea pig and beta fish were present in the first attempted ban on exotic pets. Does that seem reasonable to you?

Sooooo, I am back for now. However, my computer is still totally fucked up. I am able to access the internet on it from time to time after the initial wipe, but then it decides to go haywire randomly. I also can't add/download or open most of my programs. Sai and my tablet don't run on it anymore. I am looking to get windows 7 and totally reinstall that, but until then it's crap.

I am going to be using my dad's computer most of the time, but drawing wont be something I do regularly now since it's still HIS computer. Most commissions are now not available. Sorry guys.
