Got approved and paid for a table for RMFC this year! I'll be sharing it with  telltalefirebrand

I'll have prints, commissions, and maybe even some fursuit stuff to sell. I'm thinking about lugging my computer with me so I can do digital sketches for people.

Anyone who's had a table, what size prints do you usually sell? Do you print them yourself or from a printing company? What paper do you use? What kinds of changes do you have to make to the file to make sure it prints properly? [not too dark, not super saturated, etc.]

I'm going to start doing some non-commission non-personal art at print sizes so I can sell them.
I feel uncomfortable with selling personal art a lot of the time and selling someone elses commission feels weird, you know? I'll probably sell a few though.

So I'm going to be uploading some photos of my animals, but they will all get moved to scraps at the end of the day or whenever but will generally be just uploaded to scraps. Because I need to show off my gorgeous children.

Also, thinking about just putting mature work into scraps. yes/no? Thoughts on this? Not really sure.

Will work on my commission queue this week. I got really distracted this weekend by visiting two sets of friends. [Denver crew and Laramie crew] so no art got done, haha. but it was great to see them all and hang out.

Also, as soon as I get my resin base, artwork will slow down a bit because I really need to get it done by May for Comic Con.

These little "guess the babies" contests will happen every time one of my breeder rats is pregnant! I have 2 right now that are most likely pregnant and will have babies in three weeks, So keep on the lookout ;3

but I will be working on a GSD partial for this year's cons! Gonna buy my stuff here real soon and get it done fast.
I'm making Shepherd. Partial with 5 parts. Head, hands, feet, tail, and arm sleeves for T-shirt wearing so I'm not burning up in a hoodie with the sleeves on.

This will be a lot of fun and hopefully it'll turn out well.

Today is my birthday, I'm 23! Yeah! And I've accomplished absolutely nothing in my life! Yeah!

Anyways, this weekend is going to be a "me" weekend and I'm going to pamper the shit out of myself which literally means doing nothing all weekend. I might go to the zoo since I have an annual pass, idk.
I'll catch up on personal art and do some things that I've been wanting to do. Unpack some more of my shit and probably just hang out with my snakes. Maybe figure out some ideas I can do for Prints and maybe look at reserving a table at RMFC for this year.

Commission work will resume on Monday.

A LOT of the just mindless text is just basically "purging" my mind of these thoughts. Once I get them down somewhere [public usually...] I feel a hell of a lot better. A lot of it is literally just writing down everything that comes into my head.

These vent art pieces will be just going right to my scraps. I'm not looking for pity parties, I'm just trying to get stuff out. If you don't want to read it, then that's fine! Don't read it. If you think the vent art is cute, or just wanna give a hug, that's cool too.

But with that said, I'm finally on my big computer. The internet was being an asshole, but I got it taken care of. I SHOULD start on my owed commissions today or right after new years.

I'm finally home. Just starting to slowly unpack things and take my time. I have all my reptiles set up for the most part but final layout will be worked on through the weeks.

Computer is set up but my dad can't find the wifi password so it might be a few days before I can upload anything.

friday: moving all electronics [tv, computer, gaming systems, etc.], quarantined animals, and as many boxes as I can fit in the car to my parents
saturday: driving back with my dad & more packing

90% of the time when people get a sketch commission I just want to lineart and color it so bad and I want to fully finish it but then I'd be doing more than I was paid to do in the first place and it wouldn't be fair to the sketches that I don't want to finish all the way

right now two of them are just BEGGING to be finished and it's just "meeeeeehhhhhhh ;3;"

So haven't felt like arting lately. Been feeling kind of shitty and I've had 3 double shifts this week. IT KINDA SUCKS.
BUT I have started on one commission and I'm aiming to finish it today during my break and hopefully uploading it tomorrow.

I have 0 time management skills.

Finally have a day off tomorrow, which will be completely consumed by commission work, PFFT.

Gonna clean my apartment more today, get some stuff put away a little more. I still haven't completely moved in. Gotta clean reptile cages pretty good and feed snakes tonight too.
rktdwg was a sweetie and made me some shelves for my action figures! :'D It looks so awesome! Gonna put my beanie baby hoard where they used to be.

I'll probably doodle for myself a little today, tomorrow is a commission day :3

Got pissed at work because the guy who was hired with me is slow as fuck at his job. He was a busser and there were at least FIVE tables with shit still on them and he was literally doing them one at a time. I had to do half of his job as well as mine because he goes slow, uses the smallest fucking bus tray, and takes frequent breaks. I didn't even get to use the restroom until I got home because I was running around doing everything. It drove me fucking nuts, and you could tell my coworkers were not happy with him either. He'll probably get let go if he doesn't speed up. I was able to clear four tables within 5 minutes while he only cleared one.

I'm back from RMFC and I would say that was the best one this year. Lots of fun, really wish the DJ's had been better at the dance though.

I've also got con crud to the max. My head feels like a balloon and I've started coughing up stuff this morning. Hopefully I can work tomorrow.
