So my work in undergoing some growth and we recently got 2 new Hass mills. We're allowed to do after hours projects granted we pay for the materials involved. I do have access to programs such as solidworks and mastercam, though I'm only mildly familiar with the latter at the moment.

Is this a artcraft that's in demand? Now ofc you can say "Hey dummy, this has real world application you should learn it as your main job!". This isn't quite the field I want to go into, but if there's enough a demand to make it a secondary income I'd definitely put in the time to make it happen. After all my boss won't complain if I'm more shop savvy plus I get to use these thousand dollar machines for free.

I'm not terribly familiar with the crafting side of the fandom, would a service like this be in demand?

Something that has been on my mind for a good deal of last year was changing my username. The old one served its purpose but I've grown beyond it, and what better time than the new year afterglow for a new name?

Unfortunately pregfur and pregfurs have both already been claimed, my buddy darrencax was nice enough to give me the pregfur FA account to repurpse into my personal account and dA does not allow that sort of thing :c Also letter case is ignored, so I can't do Pregfur or Pregfurs

Quick message to you all that "working for free for exposure for strangers" was NOT one of my new years resolutions... I knows its a great disappointment for some, but I'm still an entitled @$$hole artist who thinks they should be compensated for their time and work.

- I dunno if I look like him, but I'm half the height of everyone else and doing my very best to plant trees

- I remember I had an extremely important job of planting some sort of Master tree so that the tree Folk (like LOTR tree folk) could live again

- Wizards were trying to kill me and yelling that the tree folk need to die along with me

- I'm pleading with the guy ad I dodge his spells " come on dude I'm just trying to do my job here, if you don't want it planted here then tell me where I can plant it. I'm willing to work with you you just have to stop trying to kill me!"

- So finally I get fed up " f*** it I speak for the trees b**** and the tree says that it's going RIGHT HERE!"

- I slammed my palm into the ground and Naruto style this giant tree starts to grow from the ground underneath me

- I'm rising into the air stories above the small park is this giant tree continues to grow

- I then look down and see that it is not a nice tree and roots and Vines are tearing apart anyone within its reach

- Over a small hill I could not see over there is a Costco with a sign that reads " Costco's defenseless Young Children daycare"

- F*** the trees

Little blerbs from work...

I recently was promoted/duties expanded by becoming lead of the shipping and receiving dept at work. Our paperwork/financial/backend off ice employees are all around the age where going across the complex to the S&R department is a challenge, and there's no phone in the S&R desk. I gave them my cell number so they could text me if they needed to summon me, but we were trying to figure out a more efficient method. I joked that I could wear a dog shock collar and whenever they needed me they could 'alert' me. This was met with giggles and eye rolling despite my insistence that I'd be willing to sign the waiver and that I already owned a shock collar that fits me.



Was working on a project with another engineer trying to get a prototype working before a client was due in for a show and tell. Apparently there was a bet with another tech that we wouldn't get the machine running by noon. I asked what my role in this whole system and he (jokingly) said that I was a lowly pawn and to get back to work. (I strain this all in good fun) So I commented that I didn't like my role because 'In a game of chess most of the pawns die and are cannon fodder'. He rebutled with well if a pawn survives long enough and works hard it can be promoted... so there's that to look forward too. I stepped away from the table and exclaimed "I may be a lowly pawn now... but I have a dream... *does model pose* I am a pawn who dreams of being a QUEEN". Silence... he shakes his head "Oh Logan... you're somethin'..."


I have alot of fun at work X3

But whether my muse listens to those opinions is quite another matter :p

Been sick recently and having trouble sleeping, so I took a sleep aid and one of the possible side effects is vivid dreams... and boy did I have one!

I remember very clearly being in a large living room with air raid sirens wailing in the distance with distant explosions. There is an elevator square in the middle of the room slowly descending with doors closing atop it. I'm about to jump on it with my roommate but then I see the binder of original art a friend had sent me lying on a table. I run to retrieve it, but it blows open and the art flys around the room. My roommate is yelling at me to get on the elevator, but I yell back that I can get it all. I'm hastily grabbing artwork off the floor and realize that it's not just his, but many other pregfur artists work. I grab as much as I can, the explosions getting louder and closer. I gather as much as I can back into the binder and I look back in sadness to see the opening is now too small for me to squeeze in! With a yell I dive and slide across the floor like a seal, my arms stretched out like an eagle as I push as much of the remaining artwork and the binder into the opening. As the doors close for good I yell to my roomate "SAVE... MY... PEOPLES... CULTUUUUUURE! With that the doors seal...

I sit cross legged in the middle of the living room sobbing over the artwork that I wasn't able to save, the windows shattering and a bright light engulfing me... then I woke up in shock, my heart racing.

One heck of a dream!
