Much Overdo About Nothing
General | Posted 16 years agoLol, I made a Shakespeare reference! *stabs self in eyes*
Okay, so I haven't updated in a while, and that's lame. I've got two projects in the works right now, one is a longer story about a guy who's father dies and in going through all the old memoirs and stuff his dad has, accidentally unravels a huge conspiracy and a lot of stuff about really unethical experiments and shit. It's weird, but I'm digging it so far.
The other one is for a thing Atari is throwing together for the Utah furs, it's a short story with the theme of "memories" and it's about a guy who goes back and visits his old parents' farm after they die and remembers what it was like living there. It's a really obscure one, anyone who liked "A Bench In Central Park" or "The Collector" will probably find somethign to like in it. It's one of my more experimental pieces. But then again, isn't everything new an experiment? I'm hoping to make my experiments at least interesting.
That being said, I've got a lot of writing in a fairly short amount of time. And that sucks. I probably ought not to spend my days playing L4D2 and reading other peoples books and get working on my own, right? Haha, either way. I'm excited to get the rough drafts finish and then go back and refine the stories. The second one is my priority, cause it actually has a deadline. After that though, I will be looking into more obscure stories. I already have an idea for one which excites me, I even wrote it down! My style is really starting to blur the line between William Faulkner and Anthony Burgess. With a hint of Richard Matheson. I'm really liking the way these stories are coming out.
Keep your eyes on my submission list of these sound interesting. Teasers and previews will be posted as I get closer and closer to completing these stories. I already have a preview ready for one of them, I'm just waiting to get a lot further in before I start teasing people.

General | Posted 16 years agoWell, con is winding down and almost over. Been fun, kinda wishing there was more time though. Lotta people I wanted to see, meet, and hang out with, so it's more than a tiny bit sad that I literally haven't yet. Been making me wanna gouge my eyes out. Some of it is cause of other people though, which brings me to this post. I can't use twitter to bitch aboot it though and going here is even running risk of drama, but I need to get it out, ya know? It's like, we get here and he makes it clear 'I'm gonna ditch ya, I need space, don't make me feel suffocated' so on one hand I'm like 'wow, bitchy' and another I'm like 'alright, I understand' and then the whole con, conversely, I feel like he's spent the whole thing kinda constricting me! We've been spending most the time in the room where I'm bored and tired, or going out to rediculously overpriced restaurants. I want to spend time in the con, not waste it hanging out with people I already see every day cause I live with them. I kinda need breathing room and it seems like I can't get it. It's like, every time I finally get the chance to hang out with someone like Shiuk or Rikoshi, people I've been basically dying to hang out with, I get literally yanked and dragged away to this damn italian restaurant or sushi or just up to the room again. I'm sorry, it's my first con and I wanted to spend the time exploring, meeting people, and enjoying myself, not in bed or watching TV. That's shit I can do at home, and I didn't pay money for the room and the con to NOT enjoy the con. I just really feel suffocated, but it's not like I can say anything without making someone feel bad, and that'll make shit go down the damn drain. Shit hits the fan doesn't seem quite dramatic enough. Either way, I think the last two days I'm seriously gonna be more adamant of 'I don't want to go where you want, do what you want, meet your friends, hang out with your posse, I want to meet my friends, do what I want to do.' But I gotta find a nicer way... Oh well, c'est la vie. Just needed to get that out. Otherwise loving the con, having fun, got some schveet artwork done, gonna post proof :3 and yeah! :D just hopin to survive the end and get home with my Tiggy and some much needed cuddles and love! And then it's off to Colorado for helping Realis move. Big week for this Ofetter.

Second Life
General | Posted 16 years agoYeah, I'm getting on increasingly often, which isn't necessarily a good thing, but not a bad thing either, ya know? It's weird, to say the least. Anyway, if anyone wants to get on and chat or at least help me figure that shit out, Add me as a friend, or whatever it is you do in Second Life. Lunari Xurina is my name :3

Potential Commissions
General | Posted 16 years agoOkay, so I quite like writing stories. It's only recently come to my thought process that people might be willing to make purchases for such a thing.
My Deviantart: http://www.xmilesxgxcore.deviantart.com
On there are all my stories. There's only one furry, and it's already uploaded there. I don't randomly write yiff, so there's also only two stories with sex in them.
So here's my proposition:
I can write stories for you. Your characters, you tell me the basic idea you want, I assemble them.
1/20 cents per word. The reason I toss it so low is because I tend to write really long stories, and much higher than that and stuff can get long. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I'm quite interested in getting into the story writing scene. If you're interested in even MAYBE getting one, please head over to my Deviantart and read some of the stuff there. Most of it is mature, so you'll need to be 18+ to read it, but it's all there. *hugs* thanks to anyone who even cared to read this far.
