Just checking in to let y'all know that - although I haven't uploaded here recently - fursuit work is progressing as normal.

Uploading stuff to my galleries and social media is something I do in my spare time, and recently that spare time has been spent editing and uploading a big backlog of footage to my Youtube channel - mainly on the pet-keeping side of things, but there are some fursuit videos too.

With regards to fursuit stuff I'm working on some seriously cool commissions at the moment that I can't wait to share with everyone, so hang in there, please don't leave. XD

Recently I have found myself with an empty waiting list - those who were on the list have now either declined or accepted their commission slots, and I thought this would be a good time for a change. The concept of having a waiting list for fursuit commissions worked well for me for a while, but too often I was finding that people would apply for a place on the list either without reading the rules, or reading the rules and then ignoring them. This would make the whole process quite unreliable.

So I've decided to scrap the waiting list and go with a more standard open/close commission process. For the foreseeable future there won't be any set schedule for commission openings, so you can simply check my website or FA homepage for my current status. (It may take a few days for my website to be updated to reflect these changes.)

And yes, commissions are currently open. Ideally, I would not be opening again until my queue has cleared. But sometimes it becomes necessary for me to take on extra work to tide me over. This is due to combination of me often underestimating the amount of time it will take to finish an order, and not charging enough for the work in the first place. These are both things that I am working on improving.

It should be noted that commissions are always completed in the order that they are accepted, so me taking on extra work does not have any effect on those already in the queue. Though it does mean that any new customers should be prepared for a wait in excess of 6 months.

That being said, I will soon be raising my prices, so if you've been thinking about commissioning me and had budgeted based on my current pricing, now would be a good time to get in contact! :)

I've been very distracted for all of 2018. I tried and failed to save Olive's life, and then invested way too much time and money in looking for other things to make me happy, but nothing ever works out.I'm still having to take on more commissions because I can't get orders finished quickly enough for the money to last.

Well it all stops now. I'm just going to work through 2019. I'm going to get it all done. Thank you all so much for waiting. I hope I can make things that are worth waiting for.

My sweet friend passed away in my arms after a four month battle with Aspergillosis. She was only three years old. I don't know how it got hold of her. I was always so careful. My vet told me that some birds are just more susceptible to it than others. I miss her so much, and this video was hard to make, but as she was so often featured on my channel and this gallery, I felt that it was important for closure, and to honour her short but wonderful life.

I wasn't really concerned about the security problems, or peoples' opinions on why the various art communities are good or bad. But seeing so many friends and artists shutting their galleries down and moving elsewhere, has made me think about following suit. It comes down to a matter of which community is best suited to me personally.

I could not decide between Weasyl and FN so I have made an account with both, and I'm in the process of uploading some of my most popular submissions from this site. I am finding both sites to be equally nice to use, so the deciding factor will be which receives the most traffic/activity. If, after few months, FA is still superior in that respect, then here I shall stay. I'm not going to abandon followers and potential customers simply because one website is prettier than the other.

Fluff, my jumping spider, passed away last night. Her old age finally caught up with her. It happened pretty quickly, which was good - yesterday morning I noticed that she was very sluggish and by the time we went to bed she was completely gone. I buried her out in the herb bed in our garden.

I would like to get another jumping spider soon - one of the other large species, or maybe a male Giganteus. But I'll always have a special place in my heart for Fluff. She was an extraordinary little creature, and I will miss her.

In exchange for this favour and to reimburse the costs, and can offer one of three things;

Tail Commission - Nothing very long or large, but I am will to do certain complex designs/patterning. The only condition is that I have to be able to use my in-stock furs/materials. But I have a wide variety available and airbrushing is also an option.

Handpaw Commission - This one is much more restricted. Only grey fur is available for these, though I can airbrush other colours onto it. The claws and pads can be any colours, though the pads are only available in latex.

Monies - If you're not interested in fursuit stuff but want to help out, I can just send the funds to cover the Doritos and UK shipping, plus a bit extra.
