Geez, it's been almost 8 months since I last updated.. Fear not, for I am not dead nor dying.

Summer is a really busy time for my work and I've been training some new kids (I no longer have to work 10 hour days! Yay!) so that's been taking up most of my time.
My computer also is dead. Well, not completely. It doesn't run streams any more and has a hard time even playing Netflix. So I'm aiming to get a new one for Christmas. This is why I haven't been able to hang out with you awesome artists lately :( (especially my favorite to watch  konekodawn )
I do, however, have my iPhone (which can't handle flash so I can't do streams, I've tried) so I can still look at art and I've tried to keep up on journals. So basically I'm just a creepy stalker for now.

Lots of drama is also going on in my personal life (I won't get into it here, but I can tell you it involves an old childhood friend that suddenly showed up and now we're not friends) that has kept me from being as active in the furry community as I'd like to be. However, if I can, I'm hoping to go to Furry Unlocked — the Utah fur con.
I'm hoping to get my first tattoo soon, I'm hoping by Halloween I'll have it. Of course I'll post pics; I got the design drawn by the amazing WildSpiritWolf on Deviant Art. <3

So work has been super crazy; February must be emergency pet month. (I work at a vet clinic, not sure if I ever told anyone Lol) I've been getting 10 hours every day, and when I get home I curl up and sleeps.
My mom is having knee surgery Monday, excited for that but also nervous. Hopefully everything goes well.

When life calms down a bit, I'll hopefully be on more. :)

I have this really old dog, 16 years old to be exact, and my parents are saying it might be time to put him down as we have to put down his sister who has lost bladder control and may have cancer (lots of bumps all over her). He is eating and drinking just fine, He's just old and I can feel his ribs and spine; I'm feeding him soft food now in hopes of putting a little weight on. He's in no visible pain. He's blind and almost deaf; he runs into things a lot. He can still hold his bladder like a champ though and seems pretty happy. He's a really good dog and doesn't get into trash and the cat box like the others do. Do I wait until he is suffering? Do I see how the winter affects him? I really don't know...

Does it make me a spoiled brat that, while I look for work (I've put in 3 apps a week for a month now), that I ask my parents to buy me new shoes and a hair cut?

My brother's friend called me a spoiled brat cause I was rather depressed when my father said no, he won't pay for either. And idk... Am I spoiled?

I realized I should clarify the shoes thing. I only own 2 pair of shoes: tennis shoes and high heels. I wear my tennis shoes everywhere for everything. It's been 2 years since I've bought any kind of shoe. So it's not like I'm pulling the whole girl stereo type where I have a thousand shoes but I don't have those "cute ones in purple"

you know when you think you've gotten over something, and that it doesn't bother you at all until someone brings it up and suddenly you're hurt/angry/crying again? yeah, that's been me recently. without getting into it, there are still scars from when my pack fought within itself and I realized that these scars are still stinging even though its been almost 5 years...

I have grown though, and I feel much more equipped this time. I can communicate better and am stronger now than I was before. it's funny; I always thought that history was kind of a pointless subject, but when you look at it in the point of view of say... personal history, and apply it to actual history, it actually is really important. you learn from your mistakes, you grow up and look back with a new perspective and see what you did wrong and what you could do now should such an event occur...

Hey furry friends. Just a update on the Magic's life. I just recently got a job as a dog walker, which is really fun but a lot more work than I thought it would be (I'm out everyday for at least 5 hours) I know it doesn't sound like much to those who have job(s) but for a lazy house cat it's quite the change. I'm also still trying to figure out my depression/anxiety meds, as well as what is causing my stomach pain.

my brother who was living in china is coming home and he's going to have to live with us for a little while (whole other can of worms) but he's got a 1 1/2 year old so we have to baby proof our house X_X

My brother and his 1 year old son are living in china at the moment; we skype them every other night. Tonight I happen to be wearing my big kitty ears when they called. Wen Isaac (the 1 year old) saw me, he was so confused! Then my mom reached over and pulled them off my head and I think we broke his little brain. XD it was so cute! What made you choose the species of your main Character?
I’ve always been considered a cat. Even when I was only 5 I would run around the house pretending to be a cat and now that I’m older I feel pretty confident that I was a cat in another life. It really was a no brainer.
Magic is just one half of the coin, Takara is a Tiger-Wolf hybrid because that is what I am when I dream.

Is your character just like you, or how you want to be?
Magic is just like me, while Takara is who I would like to be someday.

Does your character have the same personality you have?
Magic is a little more energetic and friendly than I am, but otherwise she’s pretty much the same.
Takara is who I wish I could be.

Magic was made to look how I imagine my soul would look; but physically neither of my main characters do.

Yes. Both are female.

Magic’s back story is similar to mine, yes. Takara doesn’t really have one yet, but she will soon.

Sort of? Magic is kind of mated to Anuk (who is my real life gay boy friend) and they have the same relationship we do. Takara is mated to my character Ramiel (the name changes, but he’s my raven wolf)

I guess magic’s history? The fact that she’s so close to me..

I have lots of art that I have colored of Magic, but not as much as I’d like of Takara. And I only have one picture of them together which needs to be fixed.
