Hi everyone,

Another year has come and gone, and with it, I am another year older. In the minds of some, a level of wisdom comes with this. But, I do not feel any wiser, though the challenges that come with it are ever more apparent with every year. For those who are curious, I spent the holidays on a small snowboard trip at the local resort. I enjoyed myself and am definitely spent. At the very least, I proved to myself that I could still snowboard despite the minor incident last year. Still, overall, the year was a good one, and I have only minor regrets.

Writing this year was relatively productive, though I focused primarily on work that I wanted to do. I was able to complete the final arc of the canon Pent and Xavier story. I feel like it came with pretty good closure, though if people are interested, I may revisit it at some point. Another small project involved them a bit more with macro/micro. Many are aware that this is one of my main interests, and I enjoyed exploring it. I was also able to start a new story arc and am looking forward to developing it further while hoping my watchers will enjoy it as well.

One thing I struggled with this year was commissions and trades. Commissions remain slow, and I take them as they come. I have learned to appreciate these when they come and enjoy working on things for others. However, I have realized that perhaps being a niche writer who writes primarily sfw stuff probably doesn't help much. As far as trades go, I am not reaching out as much anymore, as interest in trades tends to be less in the art trades. To those who have taken advantage of either, thank you for your continued support.

Looking forward to the future, I have one bigger project on my plate. It is unclear how long it will be, but it may end up being something I try to publish. If this ends up happening, I may not share everything online but will instead post teasers. I don't really have a plan yet, and I am unsure if trying to publish a book would be worth it. One hope I have for the upcoming year is to do more work for other people. It's not something I can control, but I am going to continue to produce my own work in tandem with offering promotions, events, or other incentives for people to commission or trade with me.

I would also like to take this time to show my appreciation for all the people who support me. Whether through commissions, trades, comments, or just friendship, I truly appreciate all of you. I try to interact with everyone, but socializing is not my strength. Despite the amount of work I have produced, I consider myself a smaller producer of content. I will continue to transition most of the money I make back into the community. I truly enjoy being part of the fandom despite not having much in common with most people here.

We are now basically halfway through December and that much closer to the new year. This will likely be my last journal until I post my 2025 retrospective. Not much has changed since my last update, other than I saw Zootopia 2. I will not spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it, but suffice to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nibbles Maplestick is now my favorite Zootopia character, aside from young Nick Wilde. One thing I will mention, though, is that there is a very obscure reference to a Canadian comedy show that only other Canadians will likely get.

In terms of writing, very little got done. I decided on writing a fantasy piece with Pent and Xavier. Very broad details have been worked out in my head, and I am not sure how long it will be. But you can expect this will likely be my next submission, unless I get commissions or trades. Speaking of commissions, I am offering a sale on my stories for the remainder of the year. Hi everyone,

December has arrived, and the holidays are just around the corner. I'm sure many of us are planning vacations, family get-togethers, or some other kind of event. I will eventually be taking some time off to go snowboarding. As for when that will be, time will tell, but it will likely be after the New Year. Work continues to be busy with things heating up even more with the increase of tourism in my area. It doesn't directly impact my field, but the indirect impact is noticeable all the same. Winter tends to be the second most busy time of the year for me, so I am not expecting it to slow down anytime soon.

Writing has been slow lately. I have finished the final chapter of the shrinking and growth story. There was a potential for this to continue, but I thought this might be a good place to end it. However, if people would like to see an alternate ending where Xavier continues to grow, then you may contribute to my buymeacoffee page. In terms of what's next: There is a potential for a time period piece or a science fiction one, but I still don't know what I want to do. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far. Temperatures have been dropping here, and so too has the snow. I am enjoying the cooler weather and look forward to going snowboarding in a month or two. Work remains busy, and I still don't expect that to change anytime soon. Though I am not one to complain, as job security and stability are very important to me. Other than that, life is mostly monotonous, and I am saving towards either a bigger vacation or a remodel project for my condo.

Writing was somewhat productive this week, but I didn't write as much as I would like. I was able to clean up and finish the stories that are now posted. The shrinking and growth story continues slowly, though I haven't progressed on it much. November is now here, and we are that much closer to the end of another year. I've said it before, but time sure does go by quickly. Halloween was fun this year; the charity event was a big hit. It was pretty slow at home in terms of trick or treating, but that seems to be becoming less popular in my area. Still, I did see some around when I was driving to and from the event, so I can't be sure. Work continues to be busy with more patients as well as clients in general. I don't expect things to slow down anytime soon, even with the upcoming holidays.

Still, I am able to find time to write. I worked on a bigger side project this weekend, which will continue for the short term. I was also able to finish the next chapter of the current arc. It is definitely a lot longer than I originally intended. I hope people are enjoying it. Currently, I am contemplating how I want to end it. I am thinking it probably needs to end, but I've made a new poll to see if people would want Xavier to get even bigger. Hi everyone,

We are now nearing the end of October, and Halloween is right around the corner. This is my favorite holiday as well as one of my favorite times of the year. This year, I will be fursuiting at a local charity event to raise money for a youth organization. I also plan to give out candy when that is done at home, but I don't have high expectations for trick-or-treaters. Still, any reason to get dressed up is a good enough reason for me. Work remains more or less the same with very little change. Things are just as busy and are likely to remain as such until they hire more staff.

As far as writing goes, I made quite a bit of progress this week. I actually wrote more than expected, mostly because I got into the groove. I have started the next chapter and am still unsure how much longer it will go on. For now, it will be on hold for a side project, though not for very long. As for after, I still have no plans for what to do when it is done. One thing I would like to know right now is, are people interested in me continuing journal updates like this? I hope everyone had a nice week. Mine was busy, and work continues to stack new responsibilities on me. I don't have much to share this week, so I will keep this journal short. I was able to finish the most recent chapter of the shrinking story and still have a few plans for it. However... I am unsure how it will end up, but for now, it will continue at the pace at which it is tracking. Once this storyline is complete, I do not have any plans for what I will work on next.

I have decided to end the promotion for October, including the YCH. I just don't think they generate enough interest in my work to continue doing any more. As such, for the foreseeable future, I will not be running any events, promotions, or ych-type stories. I am unsure how to go about promoting my work going forward, but I think I need a different way of doing it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I hope everyone is well and that you are enjoying your weekends. It's hard to believe that October is next week. I, for one, am looking forward to the cooler weather as things continue to be hot here. Work remains very busy right now, with very little downtime foreseeable in the future. If nothing else, I have very good job security right now. It is the first time in a long time that I feel like I don't have to worry as much anymore. Sure, finances are still tight and work is busy, but I can manage this. Right now, my goal is to force myself to plan a vacation in winter and maybe a bigger remodeling project next year.

As for writing, things continue to go slowly. The shrinking story is continuing along, and I plan on posting the next chapter this week. I did have enough free time to clean up around my house, which was nice. I am currently contemplating trying my hand at making videos. Specifically, fursuit videos with the Scientific goal of teaching and sharing my passion with others. I am not sure how much interest this would generate or if I would even be good at it. We are now into September, and Fall is just around the corner. I, for one, am looking forward to the cooler weather. Work continues to be very busy. We have a lot going on and even more to keep up with. It doesn't seem like we will ever catch up at this rate, but we just have to take things on a case-by-case basis. As such, my free time remains limited, and I am trying to enjoy what little I do have. I am hoping things will slow down as the year comes towards its end, but only time will tell if that is the case.

I was able to write a bit more this week, which was nice because I've been wanting to get back into the flow of things. A side project was finished and posted. I don't have a lot to update on this week. I am still recovering from my illness and will be seeing a doctor about it this week. It isn't bad because it hasn't stopped me from doing much. It's more annoying than anything else, but I am a little concerned about why it continues to linger. Other than that, everything is the same. Work continues to grind along, and life churns on in monotony.

I was only able to write a little bit this week due to my lack of free time. The shrinking story may end up being shorter than the growth one, but I am still not sure. The beginning of August started with a bang. Work was nonstop this week, and I ended up overdoing it. I think I caught something from someone, as I am not feeling the greatest. I am not feeling so terrible that it's debilitating, but I hope my health improves soon. Because of the illness, I may be taking some personal days for work. I haven't decided yet. On a different note, I noticed my bathroom sink sprang a leak. I am having someone look at it to make sure it isn't serious. Other than that, life continues on as normal, and there isn't anything much going on right now.

Despite how busy I was this week, I was able to write a lot. The first chapter of the shrinking story is up. Due to the lack of interest in the raffle, it will no longer be interactive. It will likely end up being three chapters like the other one, but it's hard to gauge right now since I just finished the first part. I have two other stories I also completed as side projects, which are pending approval to be posted. I will focus on the shrinking story for the time being, but it will likely be slow going as I plan to take my time on it. As usual, I don't have any plans for what I will write after, but that's an issue for later.

It's hard to believe that it's basically the end of July. The psychological phenomenon that the perception of time goes by quicker as you age is definitely true for me. Work continues to chug along and I still have very little free time because of it. My vacation has been cancelled and I am no longer traveling, at least until later in the year. I got some concessions out of the agreement, but it still stinks that I won't be doing what I had planned. Still, it will be nice to get a longer snowboard trip this year in addition to other small benefits.

Writing was slow this week. I made some changes to the last story I posted. I also started something new, but I am having second thoughts about the shrinking story. Part of me wants to do it, but the other part of me wants to do the time period piece with Pent and Xavier. I have ended the raffle early due to a lack of interest. We are now getting close to August, and with it, my vacation is right around the corner. Things have become a bit more complicated, and my boss continues to pressure me to move it. I need to decide this week what I am doing. Fortunately, everything I booked can be rescheduled. If I move it to winter, things will be different, but the purpose would be the same. Other than that, work remains the same with very little free time and a lingering desire to switch jobs again. Regardless of that, the job market is still weak here, so that is an unlikely prospect.

In terms of writing, things remained slow. I was able to finish another side project, which is now posted in my gallery. So now the only thing on my plate is the shrinking story. I have not started it yet, but I have some plans in mind for it. The raffle and drive are still ongoing and as it stands right now no one has participated. My boss is now asking me to change my vacation, which was mere weeks away. Promising that I would have more time off in winter. Honestly, I am not sure if I want to believe this or not. I hope everyone had a nice week and that Americans out there are enjoying their holiday weekend. Work continues to be busy, and I still have very little free time. With the free time I do have, I have been trying to make some money to pay off a debt I am trying to resolve. I also have been trying to find some new hobbies, but it is hard for me to break out of habits that have been established for years. I have realized that while some change is good, sometimes it is harder to accomplish than one might think. Still..I am trying to make small changes one day at a time.

Writing continued to be slow this week, with very little progress made. I was able to make a little bit of progress on a side project, which will be finished soon. It has been a while since I've posted. Both work and life have been very busy. I have been receiving some hateful comments, which have taken a bit of a toll on me as well. It should go without saying that I do not appreciate hateful comments on my work or my profile. I will be blocking and removing these as I see them. I got back to writing this week and managed to finish the teenage Pent and Xavier saga. I know I have said this before, but I truly believe this will be the end of the canon story. I have some non-canonical ideas, but right now I don't know what I want to write. I thought about going back to do the Pokémon canon, but it feels too similar to the cubby version of Pent and Xavier. I also like the idea of doing a shrinking story for them and maybe running a drive for it. I have created a new poll to see what people are interested in seeing next. Work continues to grind away like normal, and I am doing what I can to get by. Outside of work, things have settled down as I have finished both of my minor household improvements that I wanted to do. I don't have any other ideas to make my house feel more like home, but for the most part, I am happy with it. The date of my biggest vacation is fast approaching, and I am looking forward to it. There is still some minor planning to finalize, but for the most part, I know what I am going to be doing.

Another weekend has arrived, and I hope everyone is enjoying it so far. My week was sort of crazy. A lot of things happened at work all at once. As such, my usual workload was a bit larger than it usually is. I was able to manage it but I am hoping things go back to normal soon. My sense of intuition tells me that it probably won't so I will continue to grind away if that's the case. I won't complain though...I know some have it far worse off than I do. I never take what I have for granted and am always grateful for what I have.

As for the stories, I went on a bit of a writing spree this week. I was able to finish one side project as well as two chapters of my own story. The teenage arc for Pent and Xavier is coming towards it's end. Currently, I have no idea of how to end it, but I don't think the internship chapter is the best way to do it. I intend to at least do one more chapter, but if I can come up with something more than it may end up being two. I am still struggling to find a way to promote my stories. The survey didn't go quite as planned. I still don't know what people would like to see. Time continues to fly by, and we are now into May. It sure seems to get faster as you get older.Still, everything continues to grind along like normal. Work has been fine, although they are thinking about asking me to move...again. This complicates things since I just bought a place last year. I am hoping it doesn't pan out this way, but only time will tell if it does. For now, I am not going to worry about it as I have more than enough on my plate to focus on and deal with. Other than that, my life has been pretty sedentary with not much changing, which is nice.

I have been making a lot of progress when it comes to writing. I was able to finish another chapter and started the next one. Currently, I have two more ideas to flesh out. I think I have a plan now to see how the current arc ends. As it stands, you can expect 3 more chapters before I move on to something else. I am unsure if I will revisit the Pent & Xavier story in a different way, but it's evident that I've been enjoying writing it. It is almost the middle of the month and I recently had my birthday. It's kind of crazy to think about aging but it's something no one can avoid. I won't share publicly how old I am but I am very much middle-aged now. If you're wondering what I did for it...I didn't do anything special. I stopped treating my birthday differently a long time ago. I am not crazy about getting attention and I like to keep it that way. As for work, things remain more or less the same despite the change in political climate. Politically things are heating up here as another election cycle is under way. I know who I am voting for but I will not share my opinion here as I prefer to remain neutral publicly.

Writing has been more productive as of late. I was able to finish another chapter of the young teen Pent and Xavier arc. I have also started the next chapter and have a couple of ideas that I'd like to flesh out. I'd like to mention again that I am unsure how long this arc will be and I'm just going with the flow. Hi everyone,

It has been a little bit over 2 weeks since my incident. Fortunately, my hand is slowly returning to normal. Only minor swelling still resides and at some point, I will need to take out the remaining stitches since they are not dissolving. The good thing about it is it hasn't affected my lifestyle so I've been able to maintain my usual routine. Work has been slower, mostly because they reduced my usual responsibilities because of my injury. I assume things will go back to normal this coming week. I am hoping that the contractor I hired to do work on my condo will finish the work this week but time will tell if he does or not.

Writing was very productive this week. I was able to finish a longer story for the teenage Pent and Xavier arc. I have a few more ideas to flesh out for them but I am still unsure how long it will be. I've gotten some good feedback for it but is there anything people would like to see for this story arc? For those people who liked the Pokemon-themed stories, I have decided that once I am done with the current storyline that I will return to it to finish it off.

I hope everyone had a better week than I did. It has been quite the crazy week for me and one that caused a lot of stress and anxiety. Chiefly, this was because I have been preparing to do a small renovation project of my foyer. I spent a bit of money getting ready for it and I believe for the most part I got a good deal. I had even reached out to people to hire someone to do it but I still had to do the legwork for the materials. Yesterday, I was taking down the door and ended up cutting myself pretty badly in the process. As such I ended up in the ER. In retrospect I should have waited but what's done is done. It could have been far worse and the injury appears to be minor. Time will tell how I heal up but for now my work flow will be more limited because of the fact it was on my dominant hand.

Writing was a bit slower than usual this week. I did not have as much free time as the week before but I did manage to finish one piece. I don't have any other projects on my plate right now, so I will likely go back to writing the early teen arc for Pent and Xavier. I am working on fleshing out the idea in my head more, but for now, I have enough to go with. Some people have given me some interesting things to consider so thanks for everyone's interest in the project.

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Time continues to fly by and my plans for a longer vacation continue to be hammered out. Work is more or less the same with only a few hiccups here and there. My responsibilities have shifted a bit so I have a bit more on my plate than usual. I am also trying to do some minor condo repairs so that my living situation is a bit better. It is nothing I can't handle and am trying to figure out how to be as DIY as possible. Time will tell if I stay here or not but if nothing else, the work should make it more valuable to sell in the end if that is what ends up happening.

Writing was a bit slower this week due to the changes at work. I was able to manage to finish the first chapter of the "mid-teen saga" for Pent and Xavier. This will be the first time I've written something extensively from the perspective of that age group, so please tell me what you think of it. I have a basic idea of some things they can do, but it will take some getting used to as I normally write cubby stuff. Still, I am looking forward to branching out.
