I recieved the news yesterday morning; one of my previous voice professors passed away from liver cancer. I didn't know how to take it...like, I was the first of his students to know, and even though I didn't know the man all that well, I am forever grateful for the lessons he taught me as well as his introducing me to musical theater in the first place.

He was a SUPERB professor as well as an accomplished performer all his own, both in singing and acting. He was a Drama Desk Award Nominee and had recently finished a highly successful off-Broadway run as Hoke from "Driving Miss Daisy". He will be sorely missed.

okay, here's the deal.

unexpected bills combined with a month and a half lack of a paycheck have left me dangerously low on funds. To compensate, I'm offering commissions for stories/poetry for valentine's day.

My recital last friday was a success! I now OFFICIALLY have completed all of the necessary requirements for a Bachelors degree in Music, with a concentration in Vocal Performance!
