I've been really busy with a new job(if 4 months old is new) that's mostly kept me from making new drawings, but it does allow me to keep making sexy things. I work as a texture artist for the company known as EXL, or Exterminatus Labs on SecondLife. I've been making a ton of things like avatar skins, eyes, genitals, boobies, dicks, etc :>

I was waiting in line for the two new consoles for most of last week. 3 days at Walmart for the PS3 (I didn't personally buy one, but I helped a friend get two so he could finance one of them by selling it on ebay.

Only had to wait 5 hours for the wii, and although I again held the line for someone else, I get to play my mate's system. Can't wait for the component cable. The sensor bar just draws power from the Wii, so we'll be making our own 'wireless' adaptor for it.

Twilight Princess is freaking awesome, I can't help but compare it to Okami and vice versa. I think in this case I'm glad that both developers seemed to borrow from each other. But I know its gonna create a firestorm of fanboy bullshit instead, about stealing ideas from so-and-so and whatnot. :B

I dunno if you'll be able to see this journal, but my last 4 uploads didn't show in most people's Submission list... but I did upload them! Really! ;3;

I dunno if this is temporary with the stuff FA is going through or not, so I'm holding off on making a bug report.

I've tried a bunch of times to teach myself how to ink properly, wether on real media or digitally. I can't seem to make any progress in it, unlike other areas I've practiced in.

So, if you have any (preferably) online resources and tutorials you've personally found to be helpful, could you link it here?

Turns out that my laptop really REALLY displays color different than my regular monitor.,, I do most all my coloring on my laptop as its a TabletPC, but I'll probably have to end up adjusting stuff on my desktop.


My latest pic is a good example of the problem.

I'm worrying that either my coloring might be coming across wrong, or people might be prefering the more washed out versions x3. Lemme know which you like better

Discovered a funny/cool spell effect in Oblivion, which allows you to make a spell that turns baddies into invisible corpses. This makes it look like you just MAGICKED them out of existence.

The spell has 3 effect in it,
Shock damage, enough to kill
Invisible for a duration longer than damage
Chameleon for the same length

When they die, the invisible spell goes away, seeming to leave the chameleon spell of whatever magnitude behind x3

Bashing emo has become a bunch of self righteous groupthink, exactly the same thing that emo is, right?

I spend so much potential drawing time worrying about wether or not certain people watch and like my art, wether some people think I am a disgusting lecherous pervert in real life, and if I am accidentally snubbing someone by missing a message or comment, or forgetting about a request made long ago. In some cases silence is the only thing I need to cause worry.

I go through thinking of all the possible ways I might have unintentionally wronged people here... its not healthy but I can't help it.

Anyone else feel like that?

EDIT: I'm not even that worried about what I draw except that I feel weird watching certain female artists. Its mostly about the other things I listed x3

Normally I'm great at handling computer and hardware issues on my own, but I want some input on this one.
Two of my SATA Samsung SP1213C 120GB hard drives have 'failed' within two months of each other. The first one showed random delayed write failures in increasing frequency, I saved what I can from it and removed it. It showed no problems in the SMART codes.
Two months later, today, my other Samsung was doing the exact same thing, again with no SMART code warnings. I've tried updating the device drivers (They're on an integrated VIA raid controller, although they aren't being used in raid mode) and that didn't seem to work.
I am currently running memtestx86 on my desktop as I write this, a sign I'm at my wits end.
