Dream
General | Posted 5 days agoSince the dawn of our existence we've philosophised on what dreams really are, where they come from, or why we have them at all. No one really knows and probably never will. But do you ever have dreams that are so lucid, so personal that you can interact with them in ways that would make it seem like you're awake?
I don't have them often, but when I do, to me, are a profound realization of how often they are grounded in reality and involvement with the waking world. They are separate, but just as much a part of us as our own skin. To say you never want wake up because it was so personal, knowing what would happen when you do is hell of a thing.

Bird
General | Posted 5 days agoBird is the word.
While making breakfast and looking out the window, I noticed a black bird spread out on the ground. I thought my cat might've gotten him so I tapped on the window and nope, he was just sunbathing. It was quite a relaxing thing to watch after the unpleasant dream I just had. Thanks, nature.
