I've known of this little module chiptune for a long time, like back when MegaZeux was all the rage.

One of my favorite compositions in the game above most others, right up there with "Immaculate Pledge."

Every time I listen to this, I envision something like an all out, unsanctioned competition between two warriors who don't intend to hold anything back, yet in all goodness of spirit.

I love this tune so very much.

It upset me when they changed that music to the second one, Irregular Hunt II, after a detrimental plot twist in the game's story. Then I was just like "CAPCOM, Y U TAKE MY COOL MUSIC AWAY?!"

Sure, the other one's cool too. But THIS one just rings of a very "cyberpunk futuristic", "wild Megaman adventure" type flair.

I get so many epic, possibly VS style videogamey battle situations in mind whenever I hear this tune get to part 0:16... ;_;

One of my favorite pieces from the game.

I love where it goes at 0:48. For some reason, that makes me remember a sort of passive theme in old cartoon movies where someone would be trying to sneak by someone or something undetected - it's a small source of inspiration on a certain theme I wanted to expound upon in my story, of a smaller being trying to maneuver around a larger, sleeping monster of a being, perhaps in the context where the monster is not necessarily a potential threat.^^

It's from a MegaZeux game, called "Weirdness" (I shit you not.). It's the main theme you hear when you're inside your own house.^^

I never really played Order of Ecclesia before on an actual Nintendo DS, but my brother owns this game.

I think this game and Dawn of Sorrow are pretty much hailed as the best Castlevania experiences the DS had to offer. But I still love Portrait of Ruin as well, even though it had a serious 'beta' feel about it.

Random Waltz - Final Fantasy Tactics

Okay so this one needs some explaining. x3 This is a modified version of a module music tune called "Click." It was made by the music artist "Necros" (you can find more of his music on YouTube). I used "ModPlug Tracker" to remove certain samples from it as well as extend it from a certain point. In my opinion, this makes it sound sort of like a looping 'Player Select' theme of a videogame. :3

I'd be a liar if I said that I didn't wish that this tune played as a character select theme for some game that would be inspired by the characters in my stories. But that's not going to happen. XD

This is by far my favorite tune from this game. I was happy to find a video of this posted up on YouTube, so I downloaded that vid and cut the audio from the tune, then edited it in iTunes to make it loop perfectly (on iTunes and on my iPod), and uploaded it to YouTube.^^

I don't think it loops perfectly using www.youtuberepeater.com though.
