Ok, time for me to explain. To avoid being disappointed by how old I am, I've taken to referring to my birthdays as "leveling up in life." After all, which sounds less depressing from an age standpoint: "I'm 24 years old" or "I'm level 24 in life"?

Entry #40(woo hoo!): Back again!
Posted 10 years agoAnd.... we're back! Vacation was great, and I won enough tickets at the arcade to get a mood ring, a suction cup bow, (Of which only one "arrow" actually sticks. Piece o' crap...) and a pair of comically-large sunglasses.
I also played my "stepfather's" copy of Batman: Arkham Origins - Blackgate. Beat it in two days, and all I'm missing are 8 case clues and one extra detective case, which could have any number of clues.

Posted 10 years agoyeah, I can't use Skype in this old XP anymore. Gives an obtrusive error that won't go away when I open Skype.
One of those error messages you have to tend to before the computer will let you do anything with the application. See my dilemma here? If I open the Skype window, I can't do anything with it, and even closing it is a problem. If you have to contact me, send me a note, K?

|Well, my default form is my natural, amorphous state, but I can take a humanoid form, as I have now, and I can change color, too. I don't really have any favorites; I tend to cycle through at times.|

Sure a bullet might pass through you, but what would electricity do? Can you be frozen? Burned? Cemented? Dissolved with acid? Can someone simply drink you? Etc.
|Ugh.... that's a lot to go through... ok; You're right about the bullet thing; I can also catch and absorb them, though the black powder tastes terrible. I can't be electrocuted in the conventional way, but it's still unpleasant. It doesn't hurt, but it tingles... in a bad way. Because of my gelatinous viscosity, attempting to freeze me just makes me firmer, and makes my weapon morphs even stronger because of that. Attempting to burn me does the exact opposite; it makes me gooier, but can never truly melt me. I'm not sure what you mean by cemented, but if it's about using me to stick something together, it's possible, but not a good idea unless you wanna lose at least one of the objects, if not both. Acid can dissolve me, but can't finish me off; I have tons of extra pieces of myself at my house I can reform from. And let's just say that if you stick a straw in me, YOU'RE going through it.|

|Not in the conventional sense. I can feel what could be construed as pain, but I don't feel true pain as a non-slime would. Next question.|
Do you need to breathe? Sleep? Eat? Do you get tired? Sick? Etc.
|Not.... specifically. I do need to eat, but I can't get sick, and I *can* sleep, but I don't truthfully need to. Same for breathing.|
Can you morph into another person? Mimic an object perfectly? Or does everything still kind of have your colors and look like you?
|Ooh, this is a good one! The answer for all those is "It depends." Lemme explain: I can mimic someone perfectly, but only after absorbing them. Otherwise, I can't even come close. For object mimicry, it depends on the complexity of the object, and the temperature of the room. I can mimic a table at any temperature, for instance, but a refrigerator is a no-go. I could try and mimic the cold box, but I'd be kinda too shiny.|
Can you assimilate others? Consume them?
|Ah! I've been waiting for this question! Yes. A million times, yes. I can do both perfectly, but I prefer the latter.|
Can you regenerate? Do you need to consume matter to replace it or can you even get more goo if it’s lost?
|Yes, no and yes. As I said before, I have tons of goo handy in my house, and every day I get more. Eating someone helps my mass, but it's not necessary for my growth.|
If someone touched you, are you slippery, sticky or somewhere in the middle?
|Depends on my temperature, and as such, my firmness. As I get cooler and firmer, I feel more slippery; as I get warmer and more gooey, I start to feel stickier. When they're somewhere in the middle.... well, you get the picture.|
If you oozed around a corner, are you thick and slow flowing, thin and fast flowing or somewhere in between?
|Hm.... another good question... I never really thought about it, but in my amorphous form, I guess it's somewhere in the middle. Of course, I walk in this form.|
If someone picked you up are you heavy, light or something like water?
|Ooh.... I've never been picked up without the person.... disappearing, but I'd say somewhere around the middle.|
Are you hot, warm or cold to the touch?
|Depends on my current temperature.|
What do you consume to live/grow? Do you even have to?
|Yes, I have to eat, as I said before, and I prefer live prey, but I can absorb anything.|
What is your preferred way of movement? Walking? Oozing? Jumping? Etc.
|That depends on my current form. In this form, I walk, but in my amorphous form, I ooze about.... Unless I'm feeling particularly happy; then I hop.|
Can you make make tentacles? Extra limbs? Etc.

How much concentration do you need to morph into complex shapes and do crazy things? Is even your default form difficult to maintain? Or can you for example melt and have 20 different tentacles doing 21 different things?

Entry #36: Got wireless connection!
Posted 10 years agoWell, I downloaded SP3 for this XP, and NOW I can connect wirelessly. Thing sucked. At least now I can be alone in my room and STILL be connected. That was something that should've been included in this computer....
Entry #35: This laptop stinks.... (--)")
Posted 10 years agoOk, so I got a new laptop... this thing is hard to get to start up. I had to manually restart it 5 times before it would get off the welcome screen. (--)") It won't seem to connect to the wireless signal from the modem, so I have to connect it directly to the modem. Also, the only extra phone line we have can't connect to the internet through modem cause it's not wide enough. I literally have to "Borrow" the line that connects the desktop tower to the modem to connect. Good thing Mom doesn't use the desktop much....
Edit: Mom found an Ethernet cable that works, so that last part just went out the window. Thank goodness.

Posted 11 years agoAnd sunburned.... Apparently, yoshis are NOT immune, despite that most live on an island. I tried to take pictures, but they came out terrible... The camera I used cut them off halfway, and they came out too small, so unfortunately no pics. Sorry. But I did get a new baseball cap, and a few prizes from the arcade. Those pictures will be taken later and posted afterwards.

Posted 11 years agoYes, it's true! We're leaving on the 15th (Friday), and we won't be back until the 18th(Monday) However, where we're going has no Wi-Fi, So I won't be on for those three days. (Starting on Friday) I'm not sure if I can convince my mom to let me bring the laptop, but even then, like I said, no Wi-Fi.

New features:
Stuk Castle now has a few more people, including King Dorfin's family. The princess references Dragon Quest, and so do one of the books in the castle library.
The game's second and third story quests are included, as well as a few fun things.
What you can do (part 2) :
Collect and sell resources from enemies (there is an adventurer in the Nice Rest Inn (in Stuk) who will tell you more about them)
Get an explanation from a maid at the Nice Rest Inn about save crystals.
Explore the first area of the main map
train at the "battle tent" or buy any of the first four weapons
fight a mimic
journey up the first tower
fight the first main boss.
Edit: Oh geez... I left the pentagrams in! The ones in the church are fine, but I still had to remove all of them. Please delete the current versions you have and download version 2.1. They have the pentagrams removed.

Entry #27: Tangram demo 2 almost done!
Posted 11 years agoSo, Tangram ver 2.0 is nearly finished; I just need to do some more play-testing and make sure the game is not too frustrating to do; like a few hours ago, when I was playing through the last area in the demo and found that the random battle frequency was too high for such a large area. Luckily, I caught it in time and lowered the enemy frequency on all floors. As soon as it's ready, version 2.0 should be out soon!

Entry #25: Making a game on RPGMakerVXAce!
Posted 11 years agoIt's one I've actually had burning a hole in my brain since I was younger. I've since given it a facelift, and I'm making it more understandable.
All I'm saying is the name of the game is Tangram, as I got the idea when I was playing with four colorful tangram sets and made a certain design. But I digress. One more thing is that the main character is a great artist, and he uses his art talent in battle. That's all you're getting for now, though...
All I'm saying is the name of the game is Tangram, as I got the idea when I was playing with four colorful tangram sets and made a certain design. But I digress. One more thing is that the main character is a great artist, and he uses his art talent in battle. That's all you're getting for now, though...

Entry #23: Won't have internet access for as long as before
Posted 11 years agoWell, I recently fried my laptop; Now I need a new one. I already have some money saved up, but it'll still take a few months by the way it's looking... No, I can't take any commissions to raise money, and I can't take donations, either; I'm no artist, and I don't have a working Paypal... :( I'll try and use the desktop, but it's an XP, and is right in the living room, so I don't have ANY privacy. Even worse, I can't use it past midnight ("Legally" at least), because of my mom's rigid rules. (technically, the desktop belongs to her.) So, I'm basically limited as hell for a few months. :( (Not to mention bored as heck without my emulators....)
