I am going on hiatus from posting, and will be less socially active, I am currently very unhappy with my art, and life generally.

I want to try and focus on doing things I like to do, I might fail, or I might not, or i might have proper break and be properly away for a while, for once.

I'm probably going to start posting again, tonight or tomorrow.

But otherwise, for future reference, I'm not gonna bother saying when I'm gonna stop posting. It's not like I have thousands of people waiting to see my garbage, It's not like I'm being paid, this isn't my job or whatever.

So if I feel like disappearing for a while, I just will, and start posting again whenever I guess.

I currently get no joy or satisfaction from my hobby, I barely want to draw anything, I don't even want to go through the effort to just post it.

Right now I have no drive to do this, and I might not for a while, and I'm not going to force myself.

I'm considering changing their names, between the fact their name hasn't changed once compared to the rest of the aliens who had different species titles at one point, meaning it's a bit outdate, and the name itself is based off a concept from them that is no longer a canon part of their culture (being magical altars used for travel, this also means the species name wasn't even spelled right)
And also the name is just far too similar to Alternian, and I already have a species that's compared to homestuck trolls I don't need more.

The new name in the works is Asternereids, the name is similar, not too different, but very new and more fitting as children of the stars, the latter part of their name nereid being from sea nymphs, because their spaceships look like sea vessels more than spacefaring ones

been doing unwell, that's all I guess, probably will just be taking a step back for a week

I have no idea if I'm going to do a big drawing or something special but I am thankful, being careful not to burn myself out again!

Will be lurking still but may not post any art for a bit, especially since my inking pens are being fucky and low, idk if it's possible to refashion the bigger ones I don't use into narrower ones I can use or something like that, tips from other traditional artists would be appreciated in that area.

Yep, all signs point to me being shadowbanned! (people cannot find my post through tags and such) Not like I used it that much anyway but I think I might end up not using it period now, at the end of the day I guess it's just another reason for me to consider bluesky but... still it really blows, is it because I linked to my FA? but then I thought it would have shadowbanned me sooner, this was noticed more of as a recent thing.

I'm not even going to bother anything with support, because others online with a similar issue say they don't even respond so... why bother?
