Hello all! As said in my previous journal, I want to do a test round for commissions! I've been drawing daily art since September and I want to get some variation in the caharcters I draw.

Since it's a special occasion, I offer a -50% discount making the price only $10!
It's kinda particular though, so please read the description below. I am trying to practice drawing better anatomy so I am restricting the themes a little bit. It's only ten bucks though! If this goes well I will open more later, I still have 65 pictures to draw for my first iron artist round and I need a new tablet!

What is this?
- Quick art, simple traditional portraits, artistic freedom, ten bucks!

Iron artist commissions
- One character full body portrait, no background (example)
- Must be anthro/humanoid, no chibis, no toons
- Artistic freedom for the pose, I need to be able to choose what to practice. However, you can give a simple description such as "eating a cake" or "lifting a dumbell with right arm"
- Rating can be from SFW to adult, but no kinks other than macro or hyper, the focus needs to be on the character
- Muscle definition and male characters are a bonus (doesn't need to be mega buff)
- Must have at least one picture for a reference, no text descriptions this time
- I will start with three (3) slots, with more possibly later if they go well. Maximum one slot per person.
- Open for 24 hours from when this journal is posted, until 9PM, 23 Mar 2018, Pacific daylight savings time (Seattle, Los Angeles)
- I will pick the ideas/characters that best suit my practice work
- If I have trouble choosing, I will pick friends/mutuals over people I don't know. I want to reward people who have supported me!
- No preview sketches, I want to get this done quickly. Artist freedom, take it or leave it!

I was thinking of opening some rapid fire "artist's freedom" commissions as a test, for my iron artist. Trying to fund a new tablet so I can go back to digital eventually. The quality of the pics would be similar to what I have in my folder:

These are the terms I was thinking about: One character, minimal background, needs to be a humanoid (anthro), simple one line description such as "eating cake" or "lifting weights" and the rest is up to me. Hello, just wanted to post a quick journal! I have finally settled to my own apartment (in Canada) and hopefully things will stabilize from now on.

Hello! I know I don't update here a lot, but I feel now is a good time!

First, quick and simple, I moved to Canada! 🇨🇦 Lots of big stuff going on with that, but I think the biggest change is going from being a student to having a job.

Second, I'm going to try doing an iron artist! I'm gonna draw 100 pics with muscles and anatomy, trying to get it "right". I'll be posting those in Scraps. They'll be varying quality, some traditional, some digital, of my own characters mostly. Probably mostly lewd, heh.

If the iron artist goes well and I feel good about it, I may upgrade to a better tablet and maybe even try doing some commissions. We'll see.

Life updates
I've been working hard at an internship, and in a few weeks I'll go back to school to finish it up once and for all. Really not that excited about that... I also went to Vancoufur for a day, was fun! Hopefully after my graduation I'll have more chances to go to cons and meet people.

Characters
You may have seen Tuisku, my new reindeer character. I designed him to replace anthro Myth, since that version of Myth never felt really right, since he basically had no thought behind him. It was literally "I need to draw anthro, oh let's copy Myth-pony and make him into a horse". And it was confusing to me when Myth was these two separate characters. Tuisku makes it easy, and I like him more!

Thus, my characters are as follows:
Tuisku - Reindeer (anthro)
Myth - Pony
Spark - Sea eagle
Splash Stroke - Macro pony

I swear, eventually I'll have a good picture of all these guys hehe. A family portrait perhaps.

Art stuff
It's been pretty slow for me at the art department. Being away from home in a temporary odd apartment and an exhausting job isn't helping. My plan is to keep practicing more anthro stuff because I want to improve on that. You'll probably see a few pictures of Kass (from Zelda) at least. Because he is a big cutie. I'll draw random other big cuties as well. Not gonna forget Myth's hyper shenanigans or inflation stuff though, hehe.

If anyone has any thoughts for big cutie characters that I should try drawing I'm open for ideas. For now I'll just focus on Kass

I seem to be approaching a watcher milestone pretty soon. Since it's all because of you, my watchers (yay! go you!), I wanted to see if I could get some suggestions from you. I've drawn "milestone art" for at least 150 and 300 watchers. Now if I want to draw something for 400, and I'm open to any ideas!

My criteria:
- Should include my character (Myth/mythpony).
- Should have something growth/bigness related!
- Doesn't need to be similar to the old milestone pictures.

So what do you think it should be? If there's something I really like I may draw it. :)

Happy birthday to me! A lot has happened since the last time. Got a job and now I'm setting up possibly moving to another continent during the next year... Phew!

Didn't do anything too special to celebrate, had a crazy day at work and balanced that out by chilling the evening on a sailboat. Fun fun :)

My last journal is fro many weeks ago so I thought I'd just let people know what's going on. I'm currently in the middle of my finals and moving out of my apartment so the weeks leading up to this have been pretty insane. With all the FA drama that has been going on, I've tried to stay away and not worry about it.

I'm personally not leaving FA or anything like that, I've been looking at Furrynetwork and other alternatives, but they don't seem like they fit my needs. The content will be somewhat of a mix between a quick doodle dump for things that I consider too simple for FA and an ask-blog. I also plan to create a couple more characters for different themes. It's difficult to think what is "canon" if every picture always has Myth in it. My plan is to keep Myth (both anthro and pony) for hyper and growth-spurt related stuff. I will make a new character for macro themed pics. You may have noticed that I've posted a couple digital drawings lately, that's because I got to borrow a better tablet for myself so I'm enjoying using that to draw. You'll probably see more of the similar kind of quick drawings in the future. I've found that for right now that style works very well for me. It doesn't take too long to draw and I can enjoy it without getting frustrated. Yay I'm having fun drawing! I may try drawing other characters too so if anybody is interested in volunteering theirs you can leave me a comment. I'd like to draw something similar that the couple I've posted: simple portraits, fun and silly, preferably hugely hyper! Note that I'm making no promises, I'm not opening requests just yet. Friends will be prioritized!

My study semester will start next week, so as of right now commissions and such will remain closed. Have a great start of the year everyone!

My 2015 was very fun and busy. Seems like the next one will be even more so!

My new year's resolution will be to draw more this year. I posted 25 pictures this year I think, and hopefully that number will be bigger this year! I also hope to find more people here to chat with. :)

Hey everyone! I haven't been very active lately here. The reason is that a few weeks ago I got to hear that I will be having a big job interview and it kinda messed up every schedule I had before.

I am now glad to say that it's over and I got the job!! It starts next summer since I am still studying. It will be my first job that is fully about what I want to do (software development).

This will hopefully remove a lot of stress that I was having before. In the meantime I now have to catch up in studies that I couldn't do as I was preparing for the interviews, so there's a lot of things to do there. Hopefully I'll get back to drawing soon as well. :)

That's pretty much it for this time, I hope everyone is enjoying their fall, it's starting to be a bit chilly here.

Master's studies stuff is ramping up again, I need to make sure to stay on top of stuff again. I've been having some issues with studies and jobs. Graduate school is difficult enough and you're supposed to figure out jobs and your own projects and self-improvement at the same time, ugh... In good news, it seems I'm not sick with the flu anymore, yay!

[Insert obligatory part about folders] Yeah, I made some folders, just sorted stuff by character. Nothing too fancy.

I have some ideas about stuff to draw. I was thinking about maybe doing some kind of a growth drive if I can think of a fun way of doing it. I also thought about maybe having a random free requests raffle thingy again. Keep an eye on my journals for that! It'll probably be more restricted than before, something like me giving a theme and asking for characters to draw. Maybe.

Vacation is over, I'm back home and it's time to study again. Sadly I managed to catch a flu somewhere which kinda sucks. There's a lot of stuff to do in the following months, it'll be hard work but also exciting. I have some ideas for drawings too which I can hopefully work on soon. Hopefully I can get rid of the flu soon.

One year older and bigger!

It's been a busy but familiar year. Got some accomplishments done that I have never done before, but as a whole the year didn't have anything too unexpected. This next year will be interesting though. New studies, new job (hopefully), new hobbies and new people.

Hey everyone, I'm here still! Phew, it's been a weird summer. I didn't have an actual job but I had some small things and a big thing that I had to complete. Luckily it's now behind me and I don't have to think about it. I will have some time with my family and friends before going back to my studies.

I haven't really been drawing a lot, except some sketchy sketch-things and even those just on random pieces of paper. For some reason those have been the things I've enjoyed drawing but not really much more than that. Would anyone be interested in seeing more sketchy things?

Hi everyone!

This month has been weird. My studies continued again and I've also some work side-projects for some extra money. So currently I have multiple projects for school and work plus my thesis to work on. I've been having trouble keeping up a good schedule, my problem is that work kind of stretches into the evening or late night and then I'm tired to do any fun things. That's why I've had a sort of a hiatus from drawing (again)... It's not that I don't have time, it's more like I am managing my time poorly.

I'm kind of living week-by-week so I don't want to promise anything about request or commissions right now. I want to make sure I can keep the promises I make. Hopefully things will get easier soon.

I hope everyone has had a fun beginning of the year so far. :)
