Wheee......From NJ to CA
Posted 18 years agoWell, I left Indianapolis for New Jersey.
Why the hell is it hard to go from the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) to I-295? Yeah, I know I can take other highways between the two. BUT, if the damn state is going to force me to stick on the national freeways and give me a ticket when I get of it. It be nice to know what I am allowed to take between the two freeways. Cause my truckers map don't have yellow highlights for the roads that I can take to switch between the two freeways. Besides, the two freeways are so close to each other that there are times I can see one from the other (it goes side by side). Definitely not trucker friendly. Even Pennsylvania and New York's maps in my trucker's book give me roads I am allowed to take to switch between freeways.
Then from New Jersey to Philadelphia on the same day. That town SCARES me. Hell, I only left my truck for a minute....in a half fenced, half surrounded by water (Delaware Port), broad daylight. And some how my trailer got....get this....not paint, but GREASE graffiti. Me and the other drivers where just scratching their heads, and the others there (but me) had been to those ports....and the town for many years. Weird.
I shall call the guy, "The Philly Grease Graffiti Artist Ninja". I was able to wash away most of it later on, but its still pretty much there on the trailer.
From there, I head to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Then pick up in Madison, Wisconsin. Then after going through hell with getting my trailer reloaded cause I was over weight on my drive axles, then found out I had the WRONG LOAD.....WTF? I leave the next day long before the sun came up. Now on my way to Stockton, California.
Heh, Monday I was in New Jersey. I'll be in Stockton, California on Sunday. Heh, YEAH.
About it.

I am so insignificant.
Posted 18 years agoNah, not really. But I feel that way at times.
I got a facebook account a month ago (thanks to my sis dragging me onto it...) And it's interesting, but I have not really found a use for it. Though the last couple of weeks, I been slowly getting a small list of people I once knew in Middle School friending me and saying hi.
Yes, I said middle school. Not Junior high, though it's pretty much what it is. Anyway, from my 6th grade to the end of 8th grade, I was in an international boarding school in Baguio City, Philippines. The name was Brent School. It's a long story to explain how I round up there. I'll just say I was a hooligan during my childhood and I lived on a tiny island called "Saipan", and in the middle of my 6th grade year, my Dad had to get me to another school that was going to take me. Cause the school I was in was the last school on the island that would take me..........and the current head and my Dad did not get along.
Anyway, during this time I was in the Philippines, I started to learn manners, shaped up, and even though when I look back and have partial feelings of regret of leaving or regret of ever being there to begin with. At least it helped me realize how much of a brat I was and how the world looked outside of our (USA) tiny world.
But now what made me bring all that up is, this school was an international school. This school got curriculum's that are not only supposed to at par with Sweden, but the seniors exit project (or what ever its called) would be reviewed by a board of educators IN Sweden, before they'll get their diploma's.
Obviously, I did not stay long, and the way I type and lack of understanding for trigonometry.....let alone simple math when I am tired, I probably would have crashed and burned eventually. Then again, it did not help we had English teachers from different parts of the world teaching us THEIR English. Hell, I had one teacher where we MUST spell our words the ENGLISH, ENGLISH. My spelling was already bad enough and my speech was already bad enough since most of my childhood I learned English from those who where still improving on English as their second language (English is my first and so far only language). The only thing that stuck was me spelling the word Colour.
Anyways, the point of all this is, these people, are currently doing shit I could only dream of doing. Hell, one girl I knew is an ambassador in India. A guy I knew is a travel agent in Rome, Italy. And another is a model photographer in Manila. And one girl who was in my class........well, she's not doing much, but she lives in Seattle, and I really should stop over and say hi to her. Heh, the only theme I noticed with everyone is, they all at one point, had come to some place in the US for college education. Makes me wonder if our Educational system is really a joke or not......when it comes to College and Universities are concerned.
OH well, while they are doing allot of nifty things and go all over the globe. I sit here wondering what I acomplish......besides just jumping head first into anything that seemed to MAYBE improve my living conditions and hopefully be better than working front counter at some hotel or flipping burgers.
These people are doing allot of interesting things, and all I could say is, "I drive a semi and I got a 2 year degree dusting in a closet."
OH well, that's just how I feel right now......but really though, its neat to find a group of people you once knew come out of the blue and say hi and see them actually doing well. I rather hear that than hearing them doing nothing but being stoners......like some of the others I found on Facebook from the same school.....that I am avoiding.
And for those who are stoners and read this. I don't care you like to be stoned. I don't care what type of drug you love to get your buzz. I don't even care if your friends do it. You do it, good for you. Hell, I knew some people who actually worked better when stoned. BUT, BUT, I will NOT do it. For many reason, especially with how both US DOT and the Ministry of.....what ever it's called up in Canada don't allow me to. And if I was caught, I would lose my Commercial Driver's license for TEN YEARS. Also, telling me I am not a man cause I don't do that stuff just shows me how pathetic you are. Cause while your being "a man" waisting your money on dope while working at a dead end job (or soaking money from Mama) I am actually working. And if you do have a very good job, that's great. Still though, live your own life. Just leave me out of it. I leave you to your habits. You leave me with MY habits. Got it?

Thanks....yeah
Posted 18 years agoUh, thanks for the watches, I usually try to say thanks to everyone. But I just been way to busy. Also, thanks for the faves and what not. And don't forget to check out the respective artist for each art you fave. Heh, unless you faved a story, then thanks, thanks, thanks. :-D
Well, that was a long silence...sorta
Posted 18 years agoI am currently in Indianapolis, been here since Saturday, chilling. Nothing much to say other than it's nice to have a very slow week of chilling after a long couple of weeks of driving around like a mad man trying to get from point A to point B while fighting with assholes both cars and semi's alike. *breath*
Anyway, just to finish up the "trip" info's. From my last post where I was in Corbin, KY. I went down to Aiken, South Carolina. From there, to Wren, Georgia. Then from there, to West Memphis, Arkansas (town west of Memphis, TN.....of course. :-P). From West Memphis to Bentonville, Arkansas. Then I backed tracked to Russleville, Arkansas. From there, to Hebron, Kentucky (southwest of Cincinnati, Ohio). From there, to Indianapolis to pick up a load to Champaign, Illinois. From there, went to Bethlehem, PA. And from there to Hershey, PA (yes, I went to Hershey's in Hershey, PA......the worst roads I seen yet in Pennsylvania). Then from there back to Indianapolis, dropping my loaded trailer for the next person to take to East St.Louis, IL. Been here since....wow, allot huh?
Couple things that stayed in my mind when I was on the road.
When most of the I-26 in Tennessee/North Carolina says, "TRUCKS, STAY IN RIGHT LANE, GO ONLY 50", for God sake, do as the sign says. The roads are VERY curvy, very hilly, and are the CLOSEST to dangerous as the I-84 in Oregon. Only difference.....no drop offs. But still, I don't like seeing trucks passing that solid white line to pass me, only to watch a side of their truck nearly get air born. Those turns are SHARP.
PATIENCE is a virtue. But who have the time? Well, I do when it comes to getting to my destination alive, one piece, and with no delays other than I took my time. Also, can people read?
Why I ask that? Let's say, those two fit in my next thing that still remains in my mind. I was in Russelville, Arkansas, and this truck nearly runs me over out of our customer's parking lot so he can be first in line at the exit near the guard shack. Once he was done, he pulls out and parks RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERCHANGE OF THE CUSTOMER'S LOT. WTF? Apparently he got paper work to take care of before he leaves. Dumb ass, I took care of mine BEFORE I rushed to the line....with him in front of me......5 minutes later. Really, was it worth nearly killing some one to be first when your going to be there blocking traffic and getting the guards to call the city cops cause they got better things to do than to put up with an asshole such as yourself? Apparently he's not the only asshole who's parked in their intersection cause there's signs all over saying, "No parking in interchange, violators will be towed and CHARGED".
As I left the place, I made sure the US-40 was clear before I headed west on it, though once I got on, this semi cam out of nowhere and tailgates me. Once the two lane road widens to a 4 lane road, he zooms past me, only to get in front of me where I'll be turning right on. He's going the same way. He nearly runs a few cars off the road turning right, wanting to get some where, I am not sure where. I have this gut feeling to a truck stop. but not just any truck stop. MY truck stop that I am going to. Just a hunch. I wait for a clearing, only to get a green light for me....which is nicer. And I turned. I find this guy did not go far from another light and I am once again behind him. We keep going till.....behold, the SAME truck stop I am going to. What does he do? He zooms to a fuel isle and jumps out and grabs a fuel nozzle, while watching me. I just shook my head and went to the back to find a spot to park so I can shut down and go to sleep for the night.
Between me leaving the customer and getting to the truck stop. The first truck stop I passed by had stop and go traffic on it. Heh, some idiot in the truck stop, a sports car, pulls up to the "TRUCK ENTRANCE" and thought it would be a good idea to use it as a car's exit. Well, that's on the right of me, the left of me in the meridian is a Swift truck (semi), and he looks very impatient.....rightfully so, since the red light stops allot of traffic to the point the entrance is blocked. Currently MY trailer is blocking the entrance. Me, being an asshole who wishes harm as a form of punishment for being stupid, hoped once I clear the entrance, the idiot Swift driver (oh, and I hate Swift....cause their drivers are one of the worst out there) would moronically zoom without looking, and head into the truck entrance, getting his trailer ontop of the sports car. ............well, it happened. Lucky for the person in the car, the driver realized his error and stops before the rear wheels start to go over the cab. It was already sitting on top of his bumper. Hence why nobody should try to EXIT from an ENTRANCE. And vice versa. Cars fault, as far as I can tell. Though it's also the trucker's fault for not paying attention. Either way, knowing how stupid the law works, the guy will get a new car while the truck driver may lose his job. That's the way it goes.
Finally, my favorite. I get off the Michigan Ave Exit off of I-465 in Indianapolis to head towards our terminal to...pretty much shut down and get some off time. The bus in front of me that I was only staying behind of for a short period of time nearly runs the red light to turn left. By the time i get there, I to turn left. This bus guns it. I could not help but laugh, thinking to myself, "Wow, he thinks I am following, I wonder if we are going the same way." SURE ENOUGH, we are. He turns right on 86th without stopping. I get there and stop cause the light turned red and cars where coming. It was the middle of the night though, so once the 4 cars passed, I turned and continued down till I reached Georgetown. When I get there, the turn lane got 3 cars and that bus. When that bus saw me heading behind him, he literally turned left ON A RED LIGHT. Muhahahahah, I am hunting you down mister. Though I probably would start to worry if he was heading towards my terminal. Well, once the light went green and I turned, he past my terminal. Thank God. But I had to shake my head. What was that all about?
Oh well, that was my week last week....watching people over react for no reason and being impatient. What gives?

I got to head to Carolina....
Posted 18 years agoCan I see the sunshine, burning through my retinas.
Can I feel the moonshine, or is that just the peddlers?
Begging me for some change, offering to shine my rims.
Ah yes, I am going to Carolina, once again.
OH well, that was badly butchered. I mean, that was horrid.
But seriously though, I am heading to some town called Aiken, South Carolina. Be interesting. Got to deliver there by 1 PM, Friday.
And good thing I left Wisconsin around midnight. It was CRAZY going through Chicago 4 AM. I mean, the lightening show was rampant, the rains just poured. It was crazy. And I heard it was getting worst. It's been pretty bad up there around that area. I mean, hell, half the roads in southern Wisconsin and Minnesota got washed away during the weekend. I did not know this till I was reading a paper laying around the waiting room I was in while I was waiting to get loaded up with this load. And that was odd....usually we don't get a waiting room with chairs and tables, WITH up to date newspapers and a chance to converse with the friendly staff...our waiting room was their break room.
Oh well, from my last entry to now.
I stayed in Rogers, MN till I got my 70 hour work week back. From there, drove to our main terminal in Mondovi, WI. This was Tuesday night. Wensday, I drove to my delivery, drop the load off in Baraboo, WI. From there, went to Del Forest, WI and picked up there. Customer was very nice to let me park out of the way in their tiny lot to reset my hours. Which was good, cause by the time I got there, if I shut down there (which I did) i should be able to sit pretty today and not take the long way towards Aiken. Origianal plan was to head south on I-39 till I reached I-74 east. Then from there to I-57 south to I-24 east. Then from there to I-75 south till I reach Atlanta, GA. Head east on I-20 from there to Aiken, SC.
IF, I took that way, it would ad on 65 more miles to my trip than going the typical way. Which I did since I past through Chicago at night...before rush hour starts. The typical route is I-90 east (I-39/I-90/I-94 is the same where I start in WI. But I say I-90 just to get rid of the confusion on what I decided to take in general). Past through Chicago (taking the tolls in hopes to avoid most of the freeway construction......though I still got into the tollway construction....go figure), and head south on I-65 till I reach I-64 east. From there, head towards I-75 south to I-40 east. From there, head down to I-26 east till I reach I-20 west, and head into Aiken, SC, that way.
Oh well, I am currently sitting in Corbin, KY. What a boring place. And I said it before, and I'll say it again, I HATE, HATE, HATE Pilot truck stops. And who ever give out RV Busses to people who obviously have no clue on how to drive one should be shot.

Gloomy, Gloomy, Gloomy day
Posted 18 years agoIn Rogers, MN. Heh, I got here this morning from a tiny town called, Beach, North Dakota. Hehehehe, then before that, Rocky, Montana. Then from there, Spokane, WA. Though this all started at Bonney Lake, WA.....after I left my home in Arlington, WA.
BUT, now the Wensday up to Friday was a stressfull time. WHY? Cause my dispatcher once again decided to be optimistic and give me an insane schedule that I did not catch a problem on.....till I was already doing the work. He told me all I had to do was go to our drop yard, pick up the first load, deliver to the BNSF in Seattle to be transported to Chicago by train. I asked him 5 times over the phone on Tuesday, "Pick this up at our drop yard, deliver to Seattle?" He said, YES. WELL, I show up and turns out the trailer is empty and I have to go pick up the load in Lynden, WA. Lynden, WA is a border town between BC and WA. Bonney Lake, WA is south of Kent, WA. My house is BETWEEN these two locations. Seattle is between these two locations. Either way, I was pissed off. It took me ALL DAY to go do the first load. Then my second load to pick up was 5 hours east in a tiny town called Conner, WA. Which is 2 hours away from Spokane, WA.
Needless to say, I had to reject the second load.......which did nothing but argue over and over again over the truck computer system. Seems the more I work hard and make some things that seem stressful yet can make it work some how. The more he gives me ridiculous loads. So what does he do? He got the customer to change the pick up time for Thursday, evening....after I told him I can't make the AM appointment.....but oh well. The customer only had two slots open, 1000, or 1745. I did not get my hours back till 1000, and I was 5 hours away. So 1745 was it.
There's a problem still, he did not change the appointment time for the Delivery date. I must be in a town......I forgot the name right now. But its near Portage, WI, at 1100, Monday. NO WAY THIS WAS HAPPENING.
Once again we fought with the ending arguments with him just ignoring me. I have no idea what's been getting up his ass lately, but I am getting sick of it.
Friday, weekend person sends me a message, asking me if I can make the delivery on time. I just let the weekend person have the full story all on one message. My next message was not a question, just says, "Swap load with such and such for on time delivery." In other words, that guy can see there's a problem. Thank God.
So now here I sit in Rogers, MN, just chilling. I got the same load, just different load number, and the time for deliver is 1100, Wensday. So I went from ridiculously sort, and ridiculously long. But I like ridiculously long, grantee's I get there on time. And i don't have to kill myself to make it.
Oh well, about it. I just woke up. Probably would just get out in a bit to shower up and eat. Then come back out and chill for awhile. I don't have to leave here till around 1 to 3 AM. Just enough time to pass through Minneapolis/St. Paul, and head down to Portage by the time most of the other trucks are up and gone and I can find a parking space for the rest of the time till delivery on Wensday. I sure hope my dispatcher don't fuck this up. He's been pretty good. But like I said, lately he's been driving me up the wall with these ridiculous loads and ignoring me when I try to tell him why I can't do it. And the thing is, I'll tell him nicely, he'll just ask me, "What your talking about?" Like as if I was speaking another language.........in text. Then when I start to get irate over the computer, he just goes silent. Really erks me.

Ah, I am lazy.
Posted 18 years agoI woke up late, called up later. Got me a two loads to take of tomorrow evening. Pretty much, pick up a load in our drop yard in Bonney Lake, WA. From there, drop it off at the BNSF drop yard where it will be shipped off somewhere on a train. Then I'll come go back to the drop yard, pick up an empty trailer, then head off to.....I think Conway....which is two towns north of here (drop yard is almost 2 hours south of here). Once I get that load, I'll head off to Wisconsin. FINALLY, a load out of my house heading east, east, but not Northeast. But not CALIFORNIA either. Sorry, I don't like CA.....though I'll admit, I'll deliver in LA than to go to the Northeast.
Oh well, now I wish the temps did not change dramatically last night. I am so wide awake since the heat outside just raised. I got my window fully opened and the ceiling fan on high. It almost makes me want to leave now and go to a truck stop with my tractor, just so I can sleep with the AC on. :-/ Oh well. Ah, the Northwest, wear AC is treated as a luxury than a necessity. Then again, since our summers are usually not that long, its not important as....lets say, Phoenix.

*cries* Why did they ban my bad ass muffler on my scooter?
Posted 18 years agohttp://www.furaffinity.net/journal/184090/
Cause, bad ass mufflers deserved to be banned.....especially off of scooters. :-P Cause they are BAD, and they ruin ear drums off of the morons who use them. Besides, since when scooters where bad ass anyway?
*this is just a joke*

Well......hi....I am alive
Posted 18 years agoDespite the last entry, it just my rambling opinion. Funny how one entry elsewhere can set off allot of angry heads.
Heh, anyway, nothing much new since my the entry prior to the last. Just been relaxing.
Saturday my Mom came home from the hospital, cool. She's fine. Then later in the evening I decided to go out and hunt some old friend's down. Actually found them, so I been very happy.
Sunday, hanged out with some friend's in Everett, parked my car at their place and got a ride with them to Bellevue square mall. That place is....chaotic, about all I can say. We meant to see a movie, but one of my buds was starting to feel bad. Se we just hanged out and chatted. Hehehehe, allot of things.....like...furs with fishnet stockings and about how disturbing that is...and I just had to comment in a girl voice, "My fur, it's going the wrong way." :-P HAH.
Then after that, went to hang out with some of my old high school friend's again. I swear, most of them are so sucked up with WoW that their Mom could have some how been abducted to Iraq and be used as an example by Al Queda, with a live video viewing going straight to their computers, demanding them to listen....and they'll still close the little window and go back to WoW. In other words, no one answered the door, and no one seemed to noticed I actually just opened the door and walked in....and pet their dog who came to great me....and sat down to watch a TV in the background till they where done with their missions.
Glad the main person I came over to see was not there and was actually NOT sucked into it as bad as that.
Then Monday I slept most of the day till my Buddy MikeFurry showed up (some used to know him as TPF). Hehehe, it's nice to have him come down to visit me for once. I mean, my Mother's so used to him never having a car and me dong all the driving that she was shocked he showed up at my door on his own.....even though I told her so many times he's got a car now. From there, we ate here and then went to visit another buddy, and we just hanged out at a Sherri's, and later drove around aimlessly.
Today.......I woke up super late, and no one at work called me before 2 PM (Dispatcher goes home at 5 PM Eastern time.....I am in Pacific time). So I am went ahead and used today to rest. Then early morning, I'll get up and call in for work.

Heh, drammarama about certifications
Posted 18 years agohttp://www.furaffinity.net/journal/162261/
What an asshole. It's just how things are today though. Can't do nothing without spending your own hard cash to be allowed to do anything. Even if your good at it. Now I want to push this a step further. What if the art community start going into a direction like the IT field where you must not only have a degree to show that you are a "capable" of working on a computer and to keep a network functioning. But you must also pay into certifications to add with your Degree in order to be allowed to be a "Certified network admin".
I mean, really, what if art or music started to go into that direction.
Or even Burger King. "Well, sorry we can't give you this job. Cause even though you have 4 years experience and even went to McD's Burger U (It Does Exist....though I forgot what state) 3 years ago. And yes you went to college for a business degree and accounting. We can't let you be a manager unless you got the Manager's certification along with accounting certification. And our fry vats are specialty fry vats, so you also need the Fry Vat Certification."
Besides, when I look at this guys stuff, he probably empresses people in his own world of "professionals", and maybe wow a few others. But I am not impressed. Then again, its not my taste. Looks...blah. But then again, those who seen my favorites would probably say I have no taste. And rightfully so.
And lets not forget about Walt Disney, the man himself. Who was never a certified artist, and even had a dishonorable discharge from the Army for....I forgot what reason. But look at what happened to him. He started an empire with one little Mouse cartoon, and got a couple large theme parks. And when he was alive and was hosting "The Wonderful World of Disney". He had his certification....or piece of paper...or what ever is called, stating that he was "Dishonorably Discharged" hanged in frame, upside down, right where the viewers who recognize it can see it. And he was no certified artist. Let alone a businessman.
Anyway, to anyone who feels you have to fork out tons of money to get a piece of toilet paper that says you are a "Certified whatchamacallit", needs to realize not everyone was born with a silver spoon and tons of time on their hands. Everyone needs to start somewhere. And everything can not be looked at as a business. Cause if you do, well, welcome to corporate America, glad you paid to come on in. Now perform monkey and maybe some day you too can be a slave driver.
Cause either way, there's no reason why a talented person let alone a person who can do the job have a hard time getting in to something, just because they don't have something. Now if I want to be fair (to these assholes), once the person gets into a job that needs these requirements, then they can work on getting these certifications while employed. Hell, the business could be nice enough and help with the cost. Microsoft does pay for the certifications and what not while employed. Most trucking companies nowadays do pay the education and help with the cost of getting your "certification" and license to drive a semi-truck.
But then again, it's also supply and demand. But I won't touch on that.
Well, that's just my 10 dollars.....since I wrote more than I planned. But I am sure it's worth nothing more than a a sheet of toilet paper to be used when needed.

Damn....so both sides are Diabetic.....
Posted 18 years agoWell, last thing before I go to sleep. My mom is fine. But whomever says Asians do not get diabetes need to think again idiots (aimed at most ignorant fools who think race is a determining factor). Once again I am not clear on the details, but Mom is diabetic. Whee......so I guess its in both sides of the family. Just...well....how is Dad avoiding it? I am sure of the answer. Oh well.....I guess it's time to cut down on all that rice.....and while I am at it, potatoes. Just to be safe. One thing is for sure, talked to my step-dad and Mom haven't had anything that would or could raise her sugar levels for a couple days now, and it's still pretty high......so....yeah, no mistake on the diagnoses. I just hope its not the shot type.
Ah, medical, medical....
Posted 18 years agoWell, I did not want to mention this, cause I really did not want to worry. But my Mom decided to get a check up...finally...after.....everyone told her to go get checked up. I mean, her friend literally told her to shut up one day and called her doc and gave my step-dad the name and address and told him to take her ass there so she'll stop grumbling about pains. Well, I know it sounds harsh, but my Mom's been grumbling for the last year or so. And I just have not been around to make sure she does. That, and she starts to ramble about money to the point I want to hide anyways.
Anyway, long story short, she had not have a check up in the last 10 years (15 years to be exact), so they did all sorts of test on her. We are still not clear if she's got Diabetes or not. But her stomach pains is from the C-section she had done to her when my sister was born....that was 27 years ago. Apparently its pinching her intestines, so when it's "filled" it gives her stomach pains. Well, they did a colon....something....camera thing and found out that the womb was pinching more in there than the X-rays was showing.....more so that they accidentally shot the camera through the intestine. SO, from what I been told, they quickly opened her up, fixed that, along with the other problems found in her intestines (I am not clear on it yet...but apparently there was more than the womb pinching her intestines), and while there, go ahead and correct the problems that happened due to the last C-section from 27 years ago. Meh, just when I thought I was having fun....Mom beats me to the punch.
I hope things are okay with her, but everything I describe have been done a couple hours ago. She'll be in at the Arlington hospital for the night. I hope nothing else gets complicated, but I am sure she's fine. I just hope they did not find anything like a tumor or something....and if they did, hopefully they'll remove it. Damn, talk about a full physical turned ER.
I don't usually pray...but..well....wish her luck.

Tune In Next Week for more Drama on "Insurance Blues"
Posted 18 years agoYes, my insurance declined to cover it. But the moment my clinic got the word, they started to fight on it. BUT, here where it's confusing. The insurance company still have not changed their minds. BUT, they sent 1100 bucks to the clinic to pay for it's half. And since I already paid 700 bucks for the down payment.....I have a credit of....588? Uh, I am so lost. But the clinic is telling me to hold on tight for now. They are still fighting with the insurance company for an approval letter....and an explanation about the funds they received. Hopefully once everything is taken cared of, I should NOT have to pay for anything else other than the co-pays I'll accumulate for the visits and shots. And they'll let me know by either sending me a bill, or a check. So.....I guess I'll wait while my Doctor sorts the mess out. OH well, I got my shots today. Heh, I HATE shots. But I must admit, it's starting to be a welcoming feeling since the tumor itself is a huge irritant. And it's been starting to be irritating since last week. So now I got the shots....its...NUMB. Mmmmm, numbness.
Oh well, I am happy now. Confused, but less stressed.
Oh well, I am happy now. Confused, but less stressed.
Well, I am not shocked and I am home.
Posted 18 years agoInsurance have marked my operation as cosmetic. I now owe 1600...along with what ever I may accumulate. I am just more pissed off that they never sent me paperwork to fill out. They just automatically marked it as "cosmetic". Heh, oh well, what ever....I guess I won't be leaving my current job anytime soon. But meh, at least I got myself down to two bills....so lets add ANOTHER ONE. Grr.....every time I get so fucking close.......and I have 1 year to pay it off....so I think it's going to be....I don't know, I don't want to think about it right now.
Well, I am home now. Though all I done so far was sneak back into my bad. My mom's dog usually don't bother me much when I go to my room and sleep. He still did not bother me. But for some reason, he just wanted to sleep next to me. So I let him. :-P
OH well, this morning was....tiring. BUT, I had been up since 9PM yesterday. So yeah, I'll be tired by the time I get home. I got home here around 9 AM. SO I guess its not too bad. I got mad at my company this morning cause....well, I understand they want to save money. But I don't get paid to do a yard check.....aka, walk over the damn lot to record every trailer on there, mentioning if its loaded, reefer on/off, and how much fuel is left in it. I take time out of MY day just to give the info without asking cause I know they'll ask me anyways. BUT, this time I let them know that one trailer's got a flat. Instead of getting some one else to take care of it.....like sending an REPAIR TRUCK. They wanted "ME" to hook up and take it to the nearest shop.....which is North Bend. After telling them I don't have enough hours to take the trailer to North Bend, WAIT, haul it back, THEN go home. Not to mention I WON'T BE PAID FOR MY TIME. AND, I won't pull a trailer with a flat tire that far from Bonney Lake anyways......Bonney Lake is near Sumner. North Bend is east of Issauquah....and I won't put myself in a position where one of two things may happen.....or BOTH. Cop see's me and pulls me over, gives me ticket for being on the road with an unsafe vehicle. Two, the tire starts to separate and make a potentionally harmful mess all over the road. After saying my peace, I just ignored the beeping on the on board computer system and went home. Beeping as in they are sending me messages of "WE need....." Wah, wah, wah.
OH well, about it.
Hope to see others very soon.....

Almost home....
Posted 18 years agoI am almost there. Should be home by lunch today. Just in a place called Rice Hill, Oregon. Heh, going to Olympia (WA) to deliver a load of Chocolates. "Life is like a box of chocolates.........and I have a trailer full of em. Want one?"
Heh, oh well, about it for now. Hope to see everyone.........

Posted 18 years agoMeh, not much. Almost in CA. I am in Kingman, AZ.
Well, from Joplin, MO to Amarillo, TX. Then from there to here. Once done with Stockton, CA, I hope I make it in time for my Doc appointment.
Well, from Joplin, MO to Amarillo, TX. Then from there to here. Once done with Stockton, CA, I hope I make it in time for my Doc appointment.
Damn....
Posted 18 years agoWell, not much, left Dallas to come to Kansas City, MO. Then from there, back here to Joplin, MO (had to pass through here on my way up to Kansas City. Anyways, had a North Carolina load, but I got it canceled for a load to hopefully get me home. Getting a load tomorrow evening from Springfield, MO, heading to Stockton, California. Lets hope from there I get home on time for my Doc appointment on the 9th.
Anyways, I am not sure if I want to say anything about this or not. But, I will say. It's really sad that the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota have callopsed on the evening of the 1st of this month. I got the message over my tractor's computer system, letting me know not to take that bridge when going through there. Sad for those unfortunate people who where caught on it, or under it.
But a couple things gets me wondering. The I-35E bridge in St.Paul, Minnesota, which is, well, the town next door, have semi-trucks restricted from using it. Due to it not being able to support a large amount of heavy traffic. But, well, I always wondered, since I knew both bridges where old. WHY not BOTH? I mean, both bridges are old, and that city got not one, but TWO loops around the city. I think maybe 3 loops. Though those loops other than the Interstate freeway systems are just 4 lane highway systems. I could be wrong, but WHY is semi-trucks allowed to shoot through there just to pass through the city? Now don't get me wrong, I am NOT blaming semi-trucks. I am just saying that would have been one step to help lessen the stress on it. It's major demise that day was rush hour traffic with 50+ cars on it.
Another thing, it's got ONE big support bar...or something, I need to re-read that. But still, ONE support for an 8 lane bridge? That's crazy that it lasted that long.
Another thing, it's got an automated de-icer device on the bridge. Is de-icer up there corrosive?
And my last thing. The state is already getting help, emergency funds, and grants to help with ER's, cleanup, and mainly to replace that bridge.....a bridge which yes, it may hamper business in that town. But considering there's allot of alternatives for that city's bridge....hell, there's a 4 lane bridge next door to it. Is it really a total disaster? I think the only major disaster is the poor people who happen to be on it/under it at the time. And the reason I talk about it with ire is....well, think back on New Orleans and compare the total help they got compared to this. And lets skip the easy excuse of, "Well, this is easier compared to a flood." Yes, it is easier compared to a flood. But, have those damn levee's been rebuilt and/or repaired to 100% satisfaction yet? Tell me that? And the I-35W bridge so far being said that it barely passed inspections. Part of me want to say its the same foul up as the levee inspections. Other half of me wants to say that the bridge was in better conditions than the levees....but this was a total shock compared to the levees where allot of number of people where fearing about it's decay. I don't know.
I am most likely wrong. So don't go apeshit on me.....just let me know your opinions.
Hey, SG, your okay?

Still in Texas...
Posted 18 years agoBut I am at least relaxing for once.
About it, I did some changes on the descriptions on a couple stories. Along with adding three more I done in a month's period.
Now if I could just have time/will power to open up the past stories and edit them so they'll have no spelling errors and grammar errors. That, and fix any plot holes that may come up from the starting story up to the current.
Oh well.....Terrell Texas. Its a nice country town.....50 miles east of Dallas. Hehehehe, its a TA truck stop. But at least its one of the few that got very smooth parking and great steaks. Heh, I used to like TA's till I realized that most of their locations are SHIT. I mean, more parking than Pilot's and Love's (shudder), but unlike the rest, they are shitty for a nation wide truck stop. Though Flying J's are capable of being shittier.....that, and their customer service sucks.
Oh well, about it from me.

Posted 18 years agoI noticed some talk about how they love their family. And some about how they hate their family.
I'll just say there's relatives that I consider family...which is small. And friend's I consider family....which is big.
Really, its amazing how idiots factor things in like colour, race, religion. I'll just say I always get to experience the best of both worlds.....of the kind and the KKK.
So understand why I usually avoid places with racial issues? Cause....I don't fit in any click where I can just sneak by unnoticed.
Why I brought that up? Like I said above. That, and I been asked too many damn questions about my "nationality" since I been down here. I am a fucking American, and live with it. No one gives a damn bout what generation heritage you are overseas. Your an American, and you'll be loved and/or hated like every other poor sap out there.
So why must I walk around like as if I got a red laser pointing behind my back when I was sitting in Dallas?

Heh.....anti social for now
Posted 18 years agoMeh, I have not been in a talkative mood as of late. Then again, I been too busy.
I'll just say I been from Indianapolis to Phoenix Arizona. Then from there, to Dallas Texas. Tonight is my first day I was able to just sit and chill. Get a chance to regain my thoughts....other than, "Gotta get there, gotta get there, gotta get there.....FU Assholes!" Something like that.
Tomorrow I pick up a load in Dallas and head to Memphis Tennessee. I know I say I hate going to the Northeast. But I am hoping to grab a load from Memphis to Bethlehem, PA. WHY? Cause I been to the Kellogg shipper near Memphis a few times, and delivered to their location in Bethlehem, PA a few times. In other words, I want something I know next so I can just chill and do it instead of sitting down and trying to plan my route and what not with time ticking away too fast for me to Think. Heh, that, and once in PA, I am hoping to get a long run towards my house. I know that won't happen. And in the long run, I'll be happy if it does not. But I would love to make the extra cash out of it.
OH well, about it. I meant to do a reorganization of my stories numbering sequence, but I just got too busy. So I'll do that when I get home.

Posted 18 years agoNot much new, just in Indianapolis for some time off at my sister's place. About it. Hehehe, I am being tech support. Fun.....till the PC I am asked to work on goes "poof". All I was doing wast trying to get her and her husband's PC to see each other. Oh well, at least his PC did see her's for a short bit till her OS went up in smoke. Hehehe, after talking to her for a bit. She says she have not re-installed windows since she's got the PC nearly 4 years. Well, I guess its a good thing she's got 4 years out of it. Oh well, re-install time.......
Heh, where I been?
Posted 18 years agoAh, in order....cause I don't have much to say other than...been here and such and such
Sacramento, CA to East St.Louis, MO. Then from there to Wellston, OH. Though I stopped in Indianapolis to hang out with my sis and brother in law for an evening. Then spent a whole day sitting at a wanna-be truck stop (tiny gas station that just put in two truck fuel pumps, a tiny dirt lot for 5 truck and trailers, warmed pizza and no showers) in Wellston, OH.
From there, turned around and sitting in Effingham, IL. Where I got a good view at that humongous cross, where if the giant god of Thunder ever came down. We would crucify the bastard. :-P Really, I am in another Bible state...gah.
Tomorrow I'll complete this trip's load to some town south of Kansas City, MO Funny that there is two Kansas City's. One in Kansas, and the other next door in Missouri. Heh.
OH well, about it, then hopefully from there I'll get a load to make it in time for the weekend I am going to spend in Indianapolis, IN.

Wheeee....
Posted 18 years agoSacramento, California. Oh how I loath you.........
I got to deliver this load in an hour. Then leave town to pick up a load. Then I'll be passing through here again. Why do you ass rape everyone city hall?
Oh well, read on if you want, but I found another reason to say that our system is fucked up and is only based on the select few. And the cops ARE above the law.
Hey, in Lodi California (not part of Sacramento...40 miles away), this winery I delivered to this morning got a road that is 5 miles away from I-5 (freeway). BUT, some cop got parents who lives on a farm between the winery and the freeway. So guess what? He had city hall there ban trucks from using that road. SO, we must go on Highway 12 into Lodi itself. Turn on a RESIDENTIAL street turned TRUCK ROUTE. To get on this street we need to get on. And to top it off. He got city hall to MAKE the winery PAY for the road upgrades and beautify that road. I am not kidding, they turned a small 4 lane road going through tones of housing and apartments into a large 5 lane road. So trucks can barrel in front of front yards of 50 or more houses. Just so HIS parents won't have to see these trucks. His parents live on a road out of town where there are only 5 houses between the freeway to the winery. And their houses are FAR from the road. What an asshole, huh? And the thing is, that road goes no where. So there's no reason for trucks to be on it....except to deliver and pick up from the winery.
What's even more fucked up is he's currently trying to get the city to make the Winery PAY for the on and off ramps of that road to the freeway.....that we are NOT allowed to use. His argument? "Cause WE use the on and off ramps." Where is this guy so I can punch him?

Lodi, CA
Posted 18 years agoOh well, just bored, I got here a day early. For once I was able to shoot through the Puget Sound area, and through Portland, OR without getting stuck behind traffic, slow downs, constructions, and accidents. Amazing how quickly I can get down here if it was not for those high populated areas.
Oh well, just relaxing for now.
Meh, is all I have to say about this place. I got to unload...or pick up. I have no clue. This load is confusing. I was told this was 1 pick up, and 2 deliveries. Only to get the load info and it says 2 pick ups and 1 delivery. Uh...oookay. BUT, my first pick up in Auburn, WA fills my trailer up, gives me the Bill of Laden (uh....delivery papers) for my second pick up....and no BOL's for the delivery. And the customer was NOT clear about if I am supposed to deliver in Sacramento in the end or not. And NO ONE seems to have a clue what's going on back in Mondovi, WI (main headquarters for my company).
So, all I can do is hope that....what it sounds like....from the mad mumblings of my first pick up in Auburn is I deliver to my first pickup (wtf), from there they'll load me up with some of their own product and some I brought in. Give me the paper work for the one in Sacramento. Then deliver before 11 AM. Oh, and the customer in Lodi is first come first serve, but no one knows when the earliest I can show up tomorrow. But when I called, I found out the office people go home at 1:30 PM. Whee, well, I guess I know how late I should NOT show up.
Then after this, pick up more fancy Chocolate out of Modesto, CA, and head to East St. Louis again. I can live with that.
Hehehe, though they did try to sneak me a load from Sacramento, CA to London, Ontario. Uh.....NO, I have no idea why they keep trying to send me up there. But as fast I got it, and as fast I shot it down, it quickly disappeared and I got the next load I mentioned.
