Help with Vet Bills [CW: Pet Loss]
Posted 2 months agoHello - I don't really use FA as a social media site like these journals want me to, sticking to telegram and such; But I actually need a little help.
CW: Images of a domestic pet in medical distress.

My companion of 11 years, after looking to make a miraculous recover from an expensive surgery, passed away from complications on Monday, August 18th.
I knew how expensive it would be ahead of time, but would not have been able to live with myself wondering 'what if' - so I threw myself into ten-thousand dollars of debt in hopes that I could save my pup.
He did get better... for a day - by the time I arrived to help him eat, his body was already shutting down and I held him as the vets eased his passing.
You don't have to contribute, but sharing the campaign around would be appreciated.
He was a very sweet and intelligent dog - he liked to lick forearms raw while you scratched his head, and would solve puzzles the right way before picking them up and dropping them to eject the treats.
He barked and growled at everyone he saw outside until they came through the front door and became their best friend.
I miss him and still haven't moved his bed into storage.
I don't know where to go with this or how to end it - thank you for reading.
