It's been a while hasn't it? --At least since I've utilized these journals. A great deal's happened over the years, I moved back stateside for the first time in a decade, I separated from the military, I moved up to Wisconsin for college, and I've been working towards my graduation at the end of the year. However, I've been supporting myself alone solely off my VA disability and GI bill housing allowance, which was fine until this most recent summer semester.

I thought it was odd that I'd been struggling so bad with rent and groceries over the summer, only to realize that the VA's housing allowance deigned not to cover the past 3 months because I didn't meet the minimum credit hours...which makes sense since I only have 3 classes left before I graduate. Only 1 was available over the summer.

--To make a long story short: VA's fucked me badly this time. The last semester didn't meet the housing allowance criteria because I have a grand total of 3 classes left. Instead of the expected reduced rate for the past few months, I get a flat $0 to work with in full time college. I didn't think I'd find myself needing to ask for help, but I really really need to, VA's not done me any favors informing me of this after the fact. If you could spare anything at all to help me past the finish line, and graduate at the end of this year, I'd greatly appreciate it, so so much.

(Sorta.) I've sorta finished moving into my base out here at Yokota Air Base. After two or so years in Spangdahlem Germany, it's a nice change of pace for sure, I'm really, REALLY happy to be away from that base and the toxic wasteland that was my shop. Truly a terrible two years it was. Especially the deployment! With some luck (which seems to be something I don't run short on.) I should do much better here!

How do ya guys like Eto? Wondering what's going to become of Mablevi? Don't know what's going on at all? Super! That's how I function, so sorry, but not sorry. Things'll make some semblance of sense soon enough. Till then, just assume it's all got some'n to do with that goo! I rarely post chronological works on here!
