I was feeling nostalgic and combed over my FA (which also sent me down a spiral on LiveJournal). I used to go on those site so often, but like many others, I dropped off it in favour of other social media platforms. Reading my journals and seeing content from 15 years ago of cons+local events had such a big impact on my life, especially remembering folks who've sadly passed. Things are different now but they can still feel the same in some ways.

Anyways, I don't plan on doing anything with my FA and it'll remain a time capsule. I can be found on other socials and if you see something you don't like than just move on.

I'm still traveling so same shout out as last time while I'm visiting...

...can I couchsurf for a few days? Let me explain.

For the past couple of months I've dropped off the map, so to speak. I've been backpacking in Asia since November 2012 and now I think I'm ready to come home. The main reasons I'm visiting home for a few weeks instead of flying directly to Australia (where I've applied for a one year working visa) is as follows:

- I've been homesick
- my mom's birthday is on June 9th (surprise!)
- Father's Day
- packing up my life ~ I'll be traveling again after Oz
- tie up loose ends and say goodbyes to friends!

My visa here in Nepal expires on May 28th. I don't want to see my folks until closer to my mom's birthday. In that time I could extend my visa and be bored for an additional week, or I could shamelessly ask around and be grateful to crash with various friends who can accommodate! The latter is more expensive because cost of living in Kathmandu is very low, but being among close friends is pretty golden. 7 months of travel plus flights to and out of Toronto have left me pretty broke so I don't expect to do too many extravagant things while I bum around :P

I don't really know what to think of it ~ maybe overwhelming. I've had more fun at other cons but I've also been to worse ones, so it was just okay. I got to see a lot of old friends but not long enough to feel happy about and I made a few new ones which is always a priceless takeaway. I think I just worked myself up too high an expectation or didn't drink nearly enough :P

Oh wells, there were moments I definitely enjoyed. Bouncing around in  clouwy as an angel and in St. Patty's accessories was fun, especially playing ball with the children that wandered by. Eating out with large groups of friends was always full of lulz. I commissioned another Marci badge that's very me and I love it. My babyfur room party was less chaotic than last year but far more fun thanks to the people who came...and of course the building blocks!

I don't normally make shoutouts cause of potential butthurt, but thank you for sharing your time with me :3

...is 8259. I'll have a sign on the door saying whether i'm in or not ~ hopefully it doesn't get stolen! XD Most of today and tomorrow I'll be out fursuiting or whatever, but feel free to pop in if the door is open, I'm probably just relaxing :)

All you babyfurs, cubs, caretakers, ABDLs, ageplayers, curious peeps, etc, hit up my room on Saturday at 10:30pm to participate in a board game contest! The format is the same as last year ~ tournament style Hungry Hungry Hippos, Guess Who?, Jenga, Connect Four, and Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots! There is a VERY cool prize for the winner...I soooo want to keep it >.<*

Things to keep in mind...
- snacks and sodas will be available
- space is at premium, I can't accommodate for everyone if shit gets crowded
- wear whatever makes you feel comfortable
- bring your favourite plushie if you have one!

Last year I hosted some room events ~ there was a good turn out and a lot of fun times! :) I'm thinking of doing it again this year but maybe just a Saturday night thing because the other times kinda cut into other fun things I could be doing. Depending on the responses I might put more thought into it though; plus I need think about what size room to book!

MFF has been one of two cons (FurFright is the other) that I've always wanted to attend...and now that I've done it I wanna make it back next year! :D I love the hotel and the furs that attended, although the surrounding selection of noms was really limited.

My con highlights definitely include...
- watching home gurl  gummy-sweet fursuit in my  clouwy ~ so proud of her!
- partying and stereotyping the hell out of the United Nations furs! XD
- cheering on the dancers during a crazy intense competition
- being a cub with some really awesome crinklebutts

 furnalequinox this past weekend was awesome! Great job to everyone involved for running it so smoothly ~ you guys don't get enough praise :3

I had first paws experience with running a babyfur room and events ~ though it was a bit of a stress I'm thinking of doing it again next year! Hopefully there will be even more babyfurs because one of the Guests of Honour is  marcimcadam

I also got to debut my fursuit  clouwy to his first con! If you've got pics, hook me up so I can fav them ;)

This is hardly a con report since I still need to collect my thoughts. Maybe in due time I'll put up something more thoroughly written cause there's a lot of people to shout out for being awesome! :D
