Decided to finally admit this or whatever, but I can't figure out how to fricking work tumblr. So I bet you thought this was about my YCH, well if you did, then nope. Not it at all.

Actually, according to my front page today makes 2 years of me being on FA, and doing commissions (I had a previous FA account that I like never used.) But this is the 2 year anniversary of my stay here at FA as pretty permanent and day to day thing. So woot.

And I was hoping that I'd have reached my 2K watcher mark, but I'm shy by 9 watchers. XD Too bad, but regardless, it's nice to see so many people like my art enough to watch me. So yay for that. <3

So I just wanted to thank you guys, for all that you've done for me via Commissions, Donations, and just general advice and encouragement. For tolerating my work ethic as I work towards a standard consistency, for my honest opinions and stances on some personal matters as well as just the day to day nonsense that I randomly bring up. I swear the more advanced we get the more we go backwards. Pffft, I was so upset last night. Around 10:35 pm I was working on finishing up another idea for a lineart edition of the Cool Down icons when I stupidly saved over the original. D< Which completely threw out my original with all it's frikin work. So I'm tracing back over my lines for the original (from the .png files I have of the finished ones) and trying to replicate it to just as good if not better but to tell you the truth I'm just mad about it.

Pffffft, just ticks me off so much. Darn you Sai and myself with my habits of ctrl + s because I've lost so much data over the years by not saving enough. DARN YOU! D:

There are too many things about this band that I love. I first recall hearing them Senior year but it could have been earlier than that. But their songs are powerful and so much is put into the feels in them. Definitely one of my most favorite bands out there.

Singularly my favorite solo singer. She is not only hilarious and has great music, but she is so real. I see so many fakes out there, but she's real, a messed up, crazy but genuine person who knows she has flaws but isn't ashamed to admit she's still a work in progress. I seriously just, she's my music idol, but serious, I look up to and respect that woman.

Hey-o all,

So I figured I'd give a very brief update to you all. Mostly just because. :P So life has been eventful and continues to be so as I hack away at this long list of commissions. But life is good. And I'm enjoying it. Tomorrow is May 5th, my 5th anniversary with my lovely mate, darkcocoa, and we're getting married tomorrow. It's not a big arrangement, really all quite last minute. But this was really the day I had wanted, and he seems more than enthused. So I'm happy. Excited and nervous all at once, but happy nonetheless.

As far as commissions go, I'll be doing 2 more Pole Dancing YCHs (that's the plan) and hopefully cut down this list enough to take on a few normal commissions. <3

I've been keeping updates on Facebook regarding everything he's been going through. It's been hard these past few days. On monday it will have been a week since the accident. I know I haven't spent a lot of time talking about it, and obviously lack of much art updates.. partially cue to my grandmother's passing but.. also because of the constant care and watching after Romeo I have to do.

Romeo, posted a picture of him no longer ago, is a shetland sheepdog. He was born and bred to run and herd things. We kept him inside with us unless we were outside to super-vise him because my mother doesn't have a fence around her front yard. Recently we've gotten a new place of residence but hadn't had the time or anything to move ourselves into it. So last Monday was my grandmother's memorial service (we had her cremated because that is what she had wanted. And because funerals never seem to give an of us any closure in my family. We want our last memories of them to be them being lively or well, not in a casket...) an my fiance had come and been quite comforting. He did quite well, and I very much appreciated and needed it. After the memorial service was over my great-aunt left for home, and I asked my fiance if he would mind helping us move some stuff. Which he agreed to help, and it made all of that so much easier. See my little truck is an S10, and his truck is a Silverado. So much more room for hauling between the two of us. So less trips. We had gone to take a a load and unload it at the new house. Me and my roomie had went to pick up some food, assuming my fiance was as hungry as we are. Once we got back into the truck we received a call from my mother telling us Romeo had gotten hit by a car and couldn't stand.

We immediately went to the house and found him laying on my mother's kitchen floor. He had gotten out from the camper (because the door is broken, so we have to put a cinder block in front of the door to keep it closed) by somehow pushing the cinder block out of the way enough to run out (we had been using the cinder block for weeks and he hadn't been able to move it until that day). He had been in the yard and my Aunt had seen him and tried to get his attention but two white vans went to go down our road and he took off after them. He presumably tried to herd them but when he got in front of the tires he was run down. We had called the vet and went to her the following day to find that his pelvis had been crushed and no only that, but that the base of his tail (which in that area is pretty well the equivalent of our lowerback) there is a nerve that connects to it that controls the bladder and bowels, the x-ray showed that it was severed completely in two. Which.. even with recovery apart from being likely crippled he wouldn't be able to use the bathroom without manual assistance (likely). We were given the option to try to see if he could heal up, or put him down.

Now you may think ill-ly of me, or highly, either I don't care. But I chose not to put him down. Granted it's a rougher and harder choice to keep trying, but I don't believe I could live with myself if I just gave up and never knew if he could have gotten better. So Romeo, our wonderfully playful and happy dog of less than 2 years of age is laying in his bed taking a pain med, antibiotics and a anti-vomiting meds. He currently has a catheter and the vet also showed us how to put one in ourselves and gave us a few to last the weekend incase he pulls his out. We've went to the vet about... 3 to 4 times this week. Just between the first visit to the one this morning. We're trying to help him and staying as hopeful as we can. It's draining and hard but regardless of what happens - I won't regret my decision to keep trying. We don't put-down people, we try everything we can until they just can't anymore, and I can't put him down. He's still got life in him, and some fight left. So I'll keep on tending to him until then.

I know not all of you are Christians or prayers (even if you are), but if any of you can or would. Please, please pray for our dog. He needs a miracle, a healing and recovery that the Vet can't give. But whether you believe or not, I know that God hears my prayers, I don't understand everything he does, but I do know that he loves me - and that even though there is an enemy out there that only wants to kill, steal and destroy me and anything I love, I won't give up or stop loving and praising my God. He is more than enough for any problem no matter how big or small they might be.

(and in case any of you were wondering it was Romeo who got hit. It's shattered his pelvis, and snapped his tail/back bone. If he manages that, then he should survive.. So please.. PLEASE PRAY FOR HEALING FOR MY DOG. He needs it so greatly.
