I hope all of you are doing well out there. I know it's been a hot minute since I posted anything.
I figured I'd check in here and say I'm certainly still alive. I've mostly been active on Discord and posting on DeviantArt, where my closed species Viscets is hosted. I know I sort of dropped off the face of the earth here with no real info as to why or what's been going on.

So in 2021, I got a job working for retail in my town which honestly has been overall really good for my mental health but in the long run, has left me with much less time and energy for art. However, the steady income and less active stress in my life helped me greatly. I hadn't realized until months into my new job that I was suffering from severe burnout from the years of commission work and I'd lost much of my love for making and creating artwork. So I didn't do much in the way of artwork for a while. It took me a while to get back to enjoying drawing but it's still been pretty sparse in comparison to my everyday grind from years prior.

That being said, I do have a backlog of artwork between the beginning of 2022 to now which I intend to upload here just as an update to what I've made in the last couple of years since my radio silence here.

There hasn't been a whole ton of significant things to happen in my life overall aside from my general growth and understanding of myself and the new additions to my family in the form of new niblings. I've finally upgraded my old PC which was slowly dying on me and got to go to my first anime con last year, which was awesome. And I am planning to go to the con again this year as well.

So if anyone is going to MTAC this year, feel free to hmu if you wanna meet up.
I'm still working out some of my cosplays but I'm excited. <3

I hope to spend some days this year streaming some art or even doing some commission streams if I feel up to it.

I'll make this announcement at little brief since the weather's been crazy.
But expect significant delays this week specifically as we've just had an ice/snow storm that knocked out power around my area for the last few days.
We had this happen also during Super Bowl which has also caused some delays and there's just been some general issues with getting caught up as of late.

I know I've been getting some notes and messages in regards to owed commissions, and I do promise I am trying to work on my current list and not take on more until most (if not all) are completed. I do still want to be transparent with this and say that I am struggling right now. My mental health and productivity has been very poor lately and the weather issues hasn't really helped in boosting my productivity.

Currently my plan is to make significant strides towards completing all I currently owe and then heavily focus on reworking my commissions (and prices) to best reflect what I offer / am willing to offer at a rate that feels comfortable. My next focus after that will be ((hopefully)) opening commissions up again for some limited slots and creating a Streaming schedule so I can take stream commissions in between the more detailed projects.

So it's been... a while since I've posted on FA. Sorry about that guys.
Things got a bit hectic during October with a closed species I run on DA and then a personal tragedy at the end of October. And from there, it's sort of just been a weird in between funk and stress over the upcoming holidays. OTL

But I've gotten quite a bit done over on Patreon, which I'm going to be uploading here in a little bit.
I'm not yet open for commissions, I still have 3 pieces owed but after that I'll be caught up completely.
I intend to release between 2 - 5 YCHs relating to the Holiday season (at least I hope to), as for individual commission slots -- if I open for those, they'll be under a general theme of some sort. (Holiday, winter, etc).

Sept Commission Info:

I meant to make a journal for this month (august) but its been sort of a wild one. I've been fine, though going through some turbulent emotions/mental states but I'm getting back on with things and pushing through my workload again. So it's nearly September, which is a little insane, and I'm thinking I want to do another "Draw All September" Challenge. Its been a few years but I'm excited for the challenge. So for any of you who hasn't followed me a while, the challenge is essentially a draw every day challenge for the entire month. Usually I do it via commission/ych slots but I'm not going to limit myself solely to that as I don't want to burn myself out for October.

So this will be the schedule and idea,
Everday I will be posting 1 piece of art. Mon - Fri will be commission/ych pieces and Sat-Sun may be commissions/ych or may be personal pieces.
Of course, all of these will hit my Patreon first, but I'm going to try to get these slots locked day and day or two in advance.

For Tiers 1 - 3, I've made & updates the tier badges. I'm super proud of them and will be completing the last of them soon.
But I've also made updates to the Tiers Rewards. I wanted to balance them out a bit better and reevaluate some of the rewards, so that they were fulfillable monthly.

I'm down to only 3 commissions left owed, which is really encouraging. This month has been a really off one for me and it's been rough dealing with just general life and motivation on the daily. But things are getting better, even though my house is getting hotter (the weather here is unrelenting and we don't have AC OTL). So I'm confident within this next week (if all goes well with the sketching process and such) that I should have all of my previously owed list completed! Woo!

That being said, I'm not going to open for any June Slots until I've completed all of the ones on my current list.

So I'm writing this quick journal to say that for most of this month there's been some unexpected delays. I'll explain some but mostly I wanted to apologize to my commissioners on the delays. While I cannot control the circumstances, I am sorry that it has affected my work schedule and by proxy, your commissions being completed on the schedule I'd set in place. But do not worry, I won't be opening for any May Slots until I have completed my current list (or at least have it down to only 1-2 I owe).

Expected all currently owed commissions to be completed within May (likely mid-may roughly). I will still be working and trying to catch back up. Some commissions will be completed today and friday, but please just be patient with me as I work through this.

As for what caused these delays, initially it was getting back into routine after my week-off for Animal Crossing's release. That transitioning week had been a little hard but by midway through I was back in the swing of things. And if that had been the only delay, we'd have been back in full swing weeks ago. But unfortunately, it wasn't. A close friend of mine, who had recently moved, moved back down and has been pulling me into her drama for the last few weeks. This drama has severely affected my mental health and interrupted my working schedule most days these past couple of weeks. Which has all but halted my progress... So again, while I couldn't control this circumstances, I do apologize that it has slowed down my work and thrown me off schedule.

This friend has decided with little to no warning that they are moving back away again so they can be happy. And while I had advised against it, there's nothing I can do about it. So this week particularly has been a roller coaster of emotions on my end as well. But after the next couple of days, she will be moved once again and I will return back to my normal working schedule. Hopefully cranking out art much quicker.

In the meantime, I appreciate your patience and understanding.
And again, I'm sorry that it has affected my work schedule but I am focusing on getting back on track.

So starting on Friday (March 20th), I'll be taking a week off from work. This is in part to relax and come back refreshed but mostly it is because the release of the new Animal Crossing will be that day. This was I won't be nearly as distracted when I resume work, I'll still likely play AC:NH every day after work but I won't feel as though I'm missing out severely during my work day, thus hindering my progress. <3

Also, I thought a few days to a week of not seeing the media coverage every day online might be good for my stress levels and overall mental health. I know that COVID-19/coronavirus is not something to be taken lightly but seeing the coverage every day on it has about made me sick on it's own. I'm taking the proper precautions -- washing my hands thoroughly, making minimal contact with others, staying home to minimize risk, etc -- so don't worry, I'm not being ignorant or putting myself at risk. I just can't stomach seeing the panic, fear, and distress the media is causing by scaring everyone beyond what is necessary. So with that said, March 20th through March 26th, don't expect to see much from me. I won't be answering PMs, comments, or anything much during the break so unless it's vital importance regarding your commission, I likely won't respond.

To everyone currently awaiting a commission from me, I am currently working as hard as I can to get as many as I can completed before March 20th, but I'm afraid I won't get most of them done before then. But fear not, once I return to work on the 27th, I will pick right back up where I left off and honestly, after the break I'll proper be getting them done relatively quickly.

It's been quite a while since I've been on here to say anything beyond posting a handful of items this year. It's been... a rough couple years as far as productivity and my mental health goes but I'm looking forward to the new year. I've decided to reassess myself and make some changes, striding for a healthier state of mind and a consistent work schedule. Which I will be listing below as a way to hold myself accountable as well.

Paypal usually links this to the notes attached to the transactions that say keywords like "Furry, porn, any links to FA, nudes" etc

Not only that, but now that paypal has introduced the attached shipping address to every transactions, some accounts are being banned for not "shipping items" because they do not attach a tracking number to their transactions. With every transaction there is a box you can click that says "No shipping needed" if you do not click that box it will automatically send your shipping information. Not only is this, kind of sketchy but you are giving out personal information that isn't necessary.

With all this being said, whenever you send a payment to me please make sure you click "No address needed"
and in the Note please ONLY include your username and no other information, if you choose to leave a note.

_{Also adding that for users paying via the Mobile paypal app or on mobile in general may not get an option to click "no address needed";
