To me!! So my birthday is coming up tomorrow and I hope it goes pretty well:) ideally I hope to just spend some time with family I can't see too often as well as some close friends and maybe I'll get done gifts too:D hope everyone's July has Went well!!

Alright so I've been thinking about what I'd like for Christmas and I've run into a snag. I really want to start learning to create some digital art but here's the problem; originally I was just going to get a entry level tablet and use gimp on my pc but then I got to thinking that maybe an iPad would be the way to go. I ran to the apple store today to see if any of the employees could tell me which would be the ether choice and unfortunately they couldn't answer my question. So I need to know from artists on here which would suit my needs better? The iPad would be more expensive but it could do a lot more however I don't know if the apps they offer would be full featured enough to do what I would like, the tablet is cheaper but I'm not sure if I would be able to get the hang of it. Any responses are greatly appreciated^^
