Can't sleep. Developing Miffy.
Posted 10 years agoI'm working on coming up with a backstory/settingish for Miff. A few random facts:
* The setting takes place on a planet similar to Earth but populated by anthro animals. There's a high level of magic which permeates everyday life and even the physics of the world.
* Miff is indestructible.
* Miff's adopted mother is a skunk named Amber Falden.
* Miff was hatched in the early morning of September 10th, 1961. However, this is not the timeline we in the real world know.
* Adult-Miff is in his mid 20's, making the setting set in the 1980s.
* Miff was hatched from an egg found in a meteorite.

kelvinshadewing. Miff does have a bit of a backstory to him, although I often don't use it much in favor of just throwing him into whatever situation I intend to. Doing the child version of Miff because that's the more developed one.

Mifflin! But it's just Miff for short.

I think my mom knew someone named that once.

I'm five. Too young.
4. Have any abilities or powers?
Uh, not that I know about.

Blue.
7. How about hair color?
No hair, but I have grey and white feathers. ^^
8. Have you any family members?
Usually just my mom and me but we have other family members nearby and friends who are like family. I don't have a dad becuase I was adopted. My family are skunks!
9. Oh? How about pets?
No, no pets.
10. That's cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don't like.
I don't really like being around other people, I usually like to play by myself.
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
Oh, tons! I like painting and mixing chemicals and surfing and swimming and grooming myself.
12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
I hope not! I don't like hurting people.
13. Ever… killed anyone before?
I'm five, do you think I have?
14. What kind of animal are you?
I'm an adélie penguin!
15. Name your worst habits.
I tend to jump right into things without preparing.
16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
My uncle Snyder because he's a scientist and that's cool and I want to be a scientist when I grow up! n_n
17. Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?
I'm just a little kid, give me time.
18. Do you go to school?
I'm going to start next year, but my mom thinks I won't have any trouble with it.
19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
Maybe some day but I'm too young to think about that right now.

Uh, no...
21. What are you most afraid of?
I'm afraid of getting into fights with people. Now pretend I didn't say that ^^;;

Well sometimes I wear a nice blue hat and I also wear a lab coat and goggles when I'm doing chemistry experiments? Other then that nothing I guess.
23. What's one food that tempts you?
If by tempts me you mean I can't get enough of it then chocolate chip cookies, or anything else with chocolate.
24. Am I annoying you?
Nah, you're being fine!
25. Well, it's still not over!

26. What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)?
We're well off.
27. How many friends do you have?
I know a few kids from the neighborhood about my age.
28. What are your thoughts on pie?
It's tasty. ^^

Any sort of chemistry lab! <3

I prefer the ocean mainly becuase I can surf too! ^^

midi suggested I sign up for Game Jolt. I wanted to wait to put Slider up so I can make some bonus levels for it. If you played Slider before, now there's 10 extra levels to try!
At some point, as Slider 2 gets further along in development, I plan to use Game Jolt to post about it his progress. So far there are 55/100 levels in it. Cool, no?
