Well, this is the fifteenth anniversary of my Fur Affinity account. I was thinking about drawing something to commemorate this, but I've been sending nearly all my draws to Impact, which I think it a good excuse.

I'm just going to do some stream of conscious rambling here.

On Thanksgiving night I was injured and fucked up my left hand. This was the worst possible time because not even 12 hours later, I was at work because it was black Friday.

After working hard over the weekend despite the fresh injury, it still hurts incredibly. I've met an appointment to follow up with a doctor on Tuesday. I'm off tomorrow but work Tuesday morning...

So what does that mean for you, true believers? Well, my physical ability to draw is almost entirely dependant on my right hand so it's entirely a matter of general pain response.

I've got a few weeks of competed Impact pages queued up and several more in various stages of production. I should be able to close out the first part of the comic on schedule. As for what happens next, there may or may not be a hiatus between parts 1 and 2.

It's also majority affecting a personal thing I'm not comfortable talking about publicly, so I won't.

All this + work stress + other personal turmoil = very unhappy chameleon. But I'm staying strong.

Black Friday is going to make things complicated and i have other urgencies in my life that need addressing right now.

Probably going to have the next update Tuesday as scheduled.

Happy the one holiday my generation celebrates and the front line of the War on Christmas.

Comic Fury looks like a really nice site, it's a pleasure to use, and it reminds me of the good old days of the Internet when advertising was minimal, people were putting up sites for the art of it, and you didn't have to manually filter every little piece of UGC.

My week has been crazy so far and I'm going crazy in response. Now it's time for the annual chocolate rabbit oviposition day journal and, after doing this for over a decade, I don't know what to say this year.

Happy pagan equinox festival coopted by the church as an excuse to invent modular arithmetic I guess.

I think I'm going to keep the 1.0 "two fin" design as opposed to the kinda more realistic 1.1 "one fin" design I've been playing with. If anything, because it's easier to draw.

Although I don't think I had much interest in making them look like too realistic anyhow. (Although the hand shape I love and am keeping.)

Why don't I ever find out about these days until it's too late to do much of anything for them. Happy trans day though.

I went ahead and dumped a couple recent sketches to seed it with some content.

I typically only post finished (inked/colored) drawings to FA, but I do a lot more sketches that never get shared. I'm interested in creating an outlet to post them but don't like Twitter. Maybe I'll just post them to here on FA as scraps. Thoughts?

This is a guide for anybody who draws my original characters, in gift/fanart, events such as ArtFight, and commissions.

The most basic rule of all is respect. These characters are my creations and extensions of myself, especially Sperry, Miff, and Liam. Please treat them with the same respect you would have for me, which includes using the correct pronouns and not actively going against their published canon personalities.

My characters are not to be used to attack or insult me and not to be used to push agendas or beliefs I don't agree with. When in doubt, refrain.

My characters are not to be associated with real world people, places, organizations, events or movements without explicit approval, no matter how good or innocent the real world thing is.

My characters are not to be depicted in adult/NSFW situations unless specifically approved.

My characters, with the exception of Miff, are not allowed to be depicted as infants or children. This is in case I decide to later use them for NSFW/adult content; I don't want to have the same character depicted as a kid but also as NSFW no matter how separated those depictions may be.

My characters are not allowed to be shown consuming any drugs, alcohol, or other similar activities.

My characters are not allowed to be depicted in violent or potentially offensive situations without explicit approval.

My characters are not to be depicted with or alongside realistic guns or other modern weaponry. Sci-fi/fantasy/medieval is acceptable, if acceptably simple/cartoony/unrealistic.

Lastly, if I ask you to take down or delete something featuring my characters or other IP, please respect my wishes and do so.
