This is a copy paste from a google doc I've written a few days ago and posted on my other social media too. Not proof read as it was difficult enough to write once already.
Hi guys! As some of you may know, be it from my social media updates or speaking with me directly, I’ve not been doing so well lately.
While I thought for a while that I was experiencing a very rough patch on my mental health (and I indeed, was and still am living through) that was far from the only thing wrong with me. I absolutely did the right call to listen to my body and get away from social media for a while.
I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism a month ago, which is a chronic illness that I’ve been carrying without a clue to me my whole life. My case was an acute one and was almost hospitalized the instant I got my diagnosis, right at the doctors. “Why?” You may think. Hyperthyroidism is like the cousin of Hypothyroidism, but full of speed and coke. To quickly summarize, while it’s not usually a lethal condition per se (it is in the long term if gone untreated) it will put your metabolism on speed dial for years until you take care of it, or your heart explodes. In my case, it was more on the latter. I was under such severe arritmia that I got into urgent care watch from my home and started on meds right away, as I was so close to having a cardiac attack. If I had, I’m not sure I would have survived it. I’m not out of danger, but my heart is young and I’ve always taken care of it and that’s probably the reason I’m still here writing this. I haven’t spoken to the gravity of the situation I was in with a lot of people, cause I didn’t want to worry anyone without having the answers first but, here they are. There’s a long therapy awaiting me, and once I have my appointment with a specialist to take a good look at my thyroid I’m sure there will be some kind of scan or test done to my heart to check the extent of the damage it may have fallen under. Just, imagine if you were constantly running from age ten to twenty five (in my case, put whichever age you have there in place). How would your heart be after such a beating? Cause that’s what happened to me.
The second part of this update is that the heart meds that they gave me (which I need to not literally die) have been causing me episodes of visual seizures, which me and my doctor are looking into. I don’t know if it’s my eyes or my brain causing it, but all of you who are artists and your whole way of living resides in your eyes and your ability to see, I’m sure you can understand the size of the terror I feel with this. I feel silly when the thought of going blind scares me as much as dying, especially knowing that there are blind artists who live and thrive with their disabilities. I don’t want to come out as an ableist but still, I hope you can understand my fears.
So yeah, facing out that you were kinda close to dying at twenty five and not in a funny way has been an interesting experience. Interesting in the way of feeling lost, scared and disconnected I guess. My doctor forbade any exercise, going out of my home and subjecting myself to any amount of stress, including working, while my meds started to work. I’m feeling a bit better, now and with my new shining heart rate monitor telling me I’m not having an episode of arritmia, I felt strong enough to write this.
My fellow fans, friends and mutuals. I must say something and I hope you don’t take it the wrong way but I’m not sorry. This is not one of those “I’m sorry for disappearing and leaving you in the dark xoxo” posts so common on social media cause honestly, I can’t be sorry for looking after my own health and leaving my work when I needed to so I could not die!
If you are angry at me for not communicating with you previously, I’m so sorry but maybe get your priorities straight. We are talking about life-threatening-chronic-illness here and I swear one day I’ll write this in big bold letters on the wall of my living room but I don’t dream of labor. Work is work (social media managing and being an artist in my case) but I’m a very real human being who is scared as shit right now and wants to hug their partner so badly because they now come to check on me at night to see if I’m still alive.
So there’s that. I’m not doing well but I’m doing better. The meds are working but I didn’t know one could feel so tired or so devoid of energy (very similar to having Covid in my case). I have this kind of mental fog sometimes too, and I have the worst nightmares due to secondary effects but at least I get to celebrate my twenty six birthday next week so I’m fucking grateful for being “whiny” and saying “I’m not okay. I’m gonna lay low for a bit and get checked.”
As a last addendum on my health, it’s time for me to talk about my mental health, which seems like a small nuisance compared to that behemoth up there but hey, if you are still reading, thank you :)
Of course the whole dying business has left me a bit delicate but even if I didn’t have hyperthyroidism I don’t think I would be perfectly okay right now either. These past months, since around April/May I’ve been feeling like shit, and I know I’ve talked about it on my social media and I know you have read it. I suspect on one hand I may be having autistic burnout? But as a late diagnosis adult, most of these terms seem like gibberish to me and I keep educating myself on them everyday. Who knew being on the spectrum could be felt so much and put so many extra difficulties on a life already difficult as it is.
Except that for several reasons, I don’t think I’m only autistic. You see, there’s been some very observable, very physiological things happening to me for years or for as long as I can remember. I won’t go into super details (like, getting drunk but not being able to feel the drunkenness funny, just the agonizing feeling of your limbs and your tongue going numb and your stomach trying to eat itself) of everything that has got me to think this but I’m pretty damn sure there’s this dopamine not working on my brain. Like, 95% sure.
So I could very possible have autism and ADHD! The dream combo! I’ve gotten in contact with a psychiatrist already and I have my first appointment later this month but, if I’ve already gotten to where I am as an unmedicated, undiagnosed, trash fire pit of a human I don’t think I’m doing so bad, right?
My parents shouldn’t have reproduced for sure, but after all here I am and I miss you a bunch. I miss drawing so much. I miss the furry community so much. I hope this energy I’ve been feeling is not a fluke and that I can come back with you all while I recover.
Any help or good wishes you may have will be appreciated, otherwise I’m eager to draw some.

New Website / Comms future openings
General | Posted 4 years agoHi guys! I really have to update my gallery here haha, gonna try to do so in the following days.
With the new year, I've decided to create a new website for myself almost from the scratch. I wasn't really feeling the old design anymore and the navigation was kinda shitty, it was difficult to access my commission prices and my TOS. With the new website, it should be super clear and easy! Also I've updated my prices, eliminated the option of Black and White Illustrations (no one was really requesting them) and added colored sketches, which I think are a more attractive option! They are on the cheaper side, for those with more adjusted budgets (34USD/45USD).

Also, right now I've separated my regular commissions from the paintings. Paintings (full renders) require way more work and effort (both mental and in hours) so for now on they will require a differente order form and I will chose which ones to accept, rather than the old method of first come first serve. All my other commissions keep being first come first serve btw! With the exception of my Patreon backers getting first dibs and some priority.
I plan on opening commission slots JANUARY 14th, so in only 3 days! My Patrons have been able to claim slots for a few days already, but all the remaining ones will go public this Friday, except a dedicated journal for that as usual!

So as I've been having various health problems these past months, I haven't been able to work at my usual pace since summer; thankfully, I had some money saved up for a situation like that, but that money is now coming short and I've ended up with... around 150€ to my name until the end of the month. Life Update, Resgistering as a legal freelancer
General | Posted 5 years agoHi everyone, small life update here! I'm finally at the point in my life where I'm earning enough money per month on commissions to get my shit together, so I'm registering legally as a freelancer in my country of residence. This will affect my future commissioners, so this is why I'm telling you all!
From now on, all my commissions will have added taxes on their price, so they will be a bit more expensive. I'm required legally to do this, sorry about that! I will also require some personal data from my clients from now on to fill my taxes, but you will all be legally covered by the EU Data Protection, so no need to worry about that. I have to update my website, forms and commission process to reflect this and it will take me a second to get eveything in order; I'll probably be getting a new website (made by a proffesional) too.
I'm honestly very excitied with these changes in my life. All of this is new and a bit scary, I'll probably be earning less money for a while, but it will pay off in the end and it's a much needed step in the right direction for me.
