Be sure to check out more examples in my gallery! If you want more of your character showing (i.e. shoulders, bust, waist up, tails, arms with props, etc) that it will be at a small additional cost, let me know your idea and I can give you a tailored price estimate. :D
Size-wise they are around ~3 x 5 inches, but sometimes run bigger since they are cut around the character, I also tend to draw large, but depends on the pose. They are completed for you on on cardstock paper, laminated, and slot punched. Included in that price is first class-type of mailing (to US, Canada, Mexico). If you want a different mail service or are out-of-country I ask you pay for actual cost of mailing (Airmail, priority mail, etc).
If that sounds like something you might be interested in, let me know by commenting and I can get started for you! If you're not interested, no problem, next time of course. :D
Slots are on a paid basis. You do not have the slot until it is paid! I'm looking to start these right away, so you will miss out on your slot if you aren't ready to pay. Her creative hoodies, purses, stuffed characters, and everything she does will always get you attention whenever you take it out with you! Her attention to detail is very very good, she is one of my main craft night buddies and we work together often. Definitely give her a watch, she deserves it!

Project Inspiration
Posted 14 years agoFurry is a fun hobby for me, I love sewing and I love making things, I love improving my skills and trying new tasks. Sadly I work a full time job and so craft time is typically kept to projects for myself, and boy do I have a lot of Ideas I would love to finish!
I have what I jokingly describe as "project ADD" .. start a project, start a project, start a project, start a project, never finish them. heh! Its not a bad problem to have because I'm still often able to finish my projects, it just takes time. ;3
Someday there will be a time in my life where I can take commissions, but for now, furry is just a fun hobby and I am not able to do any kind of sewing project by commission. This includes plush, fursuits, tails, etc. Anything fabric, anything sewn. Sorry everyone!
I always hope to be an inspiration for others, but I get comments from others that they "can't sew" or they say "fursuits are hard to make"...
There is such a thing that I deeply believe in that is called a "Self-fulfilling prophecy" ..What is that? Its the concept that if you make a statement about yourself, you believe it. Even if you do not believe it consciously your brain will make what you say about yourself real. Your brain is affected by the power of suggestion, thats why the placebo effect in medical studies gets real results. Its also why when you tell yourself you can't sew, or can't make something...your brain, through the power of your own suggestion will NOT let you do it!
Changing your attitude isn't always an easy thing, I recommend that everyone tries changing your phrasing to be more positive about things you might not be as skilled at or haven't tried yet. Through the power of your own suggestion you'll find you will feel better about trying something new and feel better about the trial and error process that comes with making a handmade item.
One of my best friends, klickitat told me this quote:
"What's better than perfect?"
"DONE"
So get started, try something new, only you have control over your own life and beliefs, so be willing to talk about something you need to overcome positively and you WILL overcome it! Maybe even pass this journal on to someone who needs some sort of inspiration.
Other than that, I hope to see everyone's projects. Share them with me! I would love to see!!

Rainfurrest was SO FUN.
Posted 14 years agoI had a great time at Rainfurrest this year. I loved the theme, the convention's execution of the theme was great. Not everything was 100% A+ like prior years, but overall I had an amazing time, and I still will give it a B grade for a fun convention.
I met a TON of people and for the most part some folks I met just because I thought I'd be outgoing and talk to someone random who was willing to chat. That plan worked out!
I helped out with toooo mannnyyyy paaaaanelsssss. I do not think I will ever do that many panels again. Trying to fit in the basic need of EATING and my supplies being ALL the way across the majorly spread out layout of the hotel just about made me late for every panel. :( I did give out all my flyers, though! So putting together typed information to handout in class is definitely something people seek out.
I think the most successful panels were the Props panel and also the Plush construction panel. The plush panel was scheduled for an hour, but went for 2 hours. Very well-attended, too!
In addition I realize now that its hard to make cleaning a costume into a fun and exciting panel experience. The folks I invited to go to it who needed to learn about costume care the most wern't in attendance.
I had a major amount of fun hanging out with
Jill0r who was my roommate during the con. My favorite part about conventions besides fursuiting is peoplewatching, and this was a good con for that. I also was glad to see all of my 
northsound friends whom I hadn't seen for about a month it seems like!
I'm not very good about post-con reviews or stories anymore, so I'll leave it at this!

Social Networking, what site do you use the most?
Posted 14 years agoI love LiveJournal, and I use it the most and I'm now feeling the sad resignation that LiveJournal is losing its last piece of ground. I like it there, I don't want people to get frustrated and leave, but I'm finding myself checking other sites, and not getting all the information and cool project photos and ideas that I loved gleaning from everyone's individual LiveJournal posts...

Plus I decided to make this post right here on FA and an entry on LiveJournal regarding my thoughts on Google+ and my dislike of facebook, too.
Its strange that I've gone through my teenage years without using MySpace or Facebook, I relied primarily on LiveJournal for my social needs. I think its kind of crazy that its lasted and have been useful to me for so very long. I hope this is just a phase and that things will recover. Its one of the only social sites I have been willing to actually put money into! It has useful features! Customization! An intimacy that the newer sites just don't seem to have as much of....
To draw a correlation, I am not sure when I started using FA instead of VCL, but it feels like that time is coming up again in regards to LiveJournal and whatever else I move towards. Time to move to a different place for a while to have an online presence in more than just one spot.
I use Twitter, but that seems different from putting actual thoughts down in a lengthy format. Its more like quick news, share something cute, and what someone's doing at the moment kind of stuff. Not as much of the "I need advice", or "here is this cool project I am going to share a tutorial on" posts which I love so very much on LiveJournal.
I have a Tumblr, but don't really take advantage of it much... but I am wondering what other social sites folks use. As a caviat. I am not planning on using Facebook, its too full of people with no shared interest, it seems to just attract that kind of thing.
But other stuff like Forums? Art sites? Other social sites? Let me know what you like to use! I'm looking to expand my horizons just to try them out for a while and see what else is out there.

I use Twitter, but that seems different from putting actual thoughts down in a lengthy format. Its more like quick news, share something cute, and what someone's doing at the moment kind of stuff. Not as much of the "I need advice", or "here is this cool project I am going to share a tutorial on" posts which I love so very much on LiveJournal.
I have a Tumblr, but don't really take advantage of it much... but I am wondering what other social sites folks use. As a caviat. I am not planning on using Facebook, its too full of people with no shared interest, it seems to just attract that kind of thing.
But other stuff like Forums? Art sites? Other social sites? Let me know what you like to use! I'm looking to expand my horizons just to try them out for a while and see what else is out there.

Right now this is about as organized as it gets, and its a TINY room with a lot of stuff in it. I do all my crafting & fursuitmaking in the living room still, but I keep all my projects & costumes in this room. :D

These fantastic masks were painted by myself in 2007 and they are both in perfect condition. I've added new elastic cord.
They were originally intended as display pieces, which in fact is what they were used for up until today! They are very much wearable art, however they are hard (plaster masks) and the eye holes are each about the size of a dime. There is no padding.
Since I am going to do this as an auction it ends Sunday May 8th at 8PM Pacific time! Short auction time for a quick sell!!
Since this is my first time doing an FA auction here are some AUCTION DETAILS:
* Please REPLY to the SPECIFIC thread for the mask you want with your intended bid amount.
* Please only place a bid if you are serious about the amount you state.
* Auction amount is in US dollars, payment will be taken via PayPal.

So I'd love to get some good chat buddies going again, its been a while since I've added some folks to my roster.
