And with the start of this day I have now acquired my third decade of life. Huzzah.

So I went because I had spent money on the ticket last year with my "holy crap furcon" and had Raven God status and the 0001 badge, though only staff really noticed that this year whenever my badge number was asked for.

I had gotten there about 3pmish i think on friday, got my goods then almost immediately ended up chilling in The Zoo to talk with  Johnnyvulpine and  nanashieru whom i had made good friends with last year. I would periodically come back into the zoo to chill with them and I did manage to draw one of them for practice.

Then I went looking for  CorvusPointer as he had said he had something for me and he happened to be conveniently placed right at the front door of the second marketplace [There's a story to that but he'd probably be better to explain it]. In addition he sat right next to [or rather corner sharing] to  WolfMama which made it so the two art dealers I had made friends with were now conveniently in one spot! Throughout the con I would hang out with Corvus, mostly at the various dinners we were invited to and on the great cigarette journey and to watch his process of art [trying to steal his brain on making the arts >:3].

Next location I went to was to the tabletop gaming room to hang out with all of the people I had met last year there, though i didn't spend as much time in the room as I did last year though. Captain Deek, Guari[D], Jenbear, birdy, mostly nicknames of people who would be in the room and what not. Played Are you a Werewolf? A few times, at which I have some special power to always survive till the end, and in one case when I finally WAS the werewolf I got to win [yay i murdered people pretty effectively! I also survived several accusations and nearly being hung]. Had a game of Aye, Dark Overlord too and would have loved to have played a second but free dinner was scheduled for the same time... it was a good free dinner though.

At the dinner I was with Corvus and i got to talk to  the_gneech and Mrs The Gneech. Was a pretty fun dinner, and way too damn tasty.

At some point, since by now my ability to tell time has DISINTEGRATED, I met  Xeypher and  Smoot who are two pretty damn cool peoples who I definitely bugged the shit out of when i visited their art tables or caught Xeypher doing actual drawing work in the Zoo. I also later met  sweettalk who is also pretty damn cool! Also they have amazing arts, waatch theeem [or any of the people I talked to or linked, everyone's friggin awesome!].

At some point I tried out Ironclaw. I am, not really quite sure how I feel about the game system. Concept seems cool but front loading everything on the "to hit" phase of fighting is so odd. Also there's the possibility you can never possibly do anything due to dice differences, and the possibility you could instadie first round of combat, or never kill your opponent [though that last one can be fairly unlikely but it's still a possibility].

That's about all of what I can mostly remember besides the quote of the con for me which ended up being overheard on the staff walky-talky things as the con was closing up:

For whatever reason that made my day so much. I look forward to potentially going again next year. I had anxiety towards coming this year but I ended up having a lot more fun this time because I knew people. I also felt rather depressed leaving but I suppose that's normal. Also... i won a dragon. Yay dragon plushes!

So this is actually a four part series but functions better as a two hour movie. It follows Red from the original games, though at the end it ninja's in a promotion for Mega evolution <_<

It's a bit more dark than any of the previous series so be forewarned but it's very good. Kinda wished this had been the series they released beforehand, and that this one was expanded a lot more but I suppose getting this works.

So... as title says, i've broken down to request for friend codes and possibly butt pats.

Pokemon decided it would be an awesome idea to make the Safari zone into a meta mini game called "find all the friends nao~". The friend safari opens up once you beat the champion and you get little "yards" for each friend and they get assigned a random type that sticks with them forever. Then they spawn 2 [3 if they've beaten the champion] pokemon in said yard. It's a way to get certain pokemon i haz needs for but given the pool is like over 100 some pokemon that can be picked from and i just want one... i'm playing slots here now lol.

Also i can catch Wartortles, Mawiles, Abras, and some other things myself from my little friend gardens. Alledgedly they have 2 stats that are with IV 31's, but i have yet to test this, but if you know what IVs are these babies are awesome for breeding/power gaming lol.

So this weekend I went to Fur the 'More seeing it as a good way to check out a furry con without having to go too far.

First night i get there was Thursday, pretty late-ish and people were still setting things up. I check into my hotel room and then wander the con spaces on the first floor [escalators were turned off and didn't think to use the elevator/stairs till the con was actually going]. I went into  MiltoniusPrime's game room and played two songs with him on vocals before wandering off [some level of anxiety driving me away for that moment, it'll be a reoccurring theme throughout the con]. [The next day I would get a chance to chat with  Rally_Ranger for a bit who was a really nice guy and fun to talk to when i could]. So then i wander into the tabletop game room ran by Captain Deek [not sure if he's got an FA,] and his merry band of misfits. They were playing Texas Hold 'Em at the moment and i sat and watched for a while, quietly observing everything and getting a feel for the group. They attempted to get me to partake with them in the game and I politely refused, not a real fan of normal card games and my shyness was in full effect here at the moment. Went to bed afterwards and tried my best to sleep, but excitement of the unknown made it kind of hard.

I awake for the opening ceremonies and find a seat by myself as I didn't really know anyone and those who I had met previously at the one of the meets I went to not recognizing me, though I'll warn you all now. If i talked to you there is a 98% chance i'll remember you, i'll remember where we were, I will probably even remember what you were wearing. I'm THAT guy. Later I was told by  Draconicarcher that it's called "con-nesia" and it makes people forget meeting people. [I'm stopping the whole day by day thing here, my brain was wanting to talk about so much stuff at once that it's easier to just summarize the rest of the parts]


The location of the Zoo was a really cool place called Frankie and Vinnies and will so far as I know remain the location of the Zoo for next year too. It was a nightclub with a 50's-60's theme [i honestly can't place the right era to it atm] and I kept trying to imagine what the place looked like when it was originally conceived, almost playing with the idea that the club itself had just been around since the intended themed date. Every time I went to the zoo it would pretty much be near empty of people but that could have been because people couldn't find it [though the staff tried really hard with the sheer amount of signs they put up trying to point to the location!] Though the zoo is where I ended up meeting  Johnnyvulpine who was dj-ing for the location. He was a really really nice neat guy to meet and i'm glad to have met him and his mate [though I failed to acquire his name which fills me with sadness now].

I would return back to the tabletop gaming room which would become my haven to calm down from my anxiety attacks that would periodically plague me because of the whole "surrounded by people but feeling completely alone" that would pervade my mind occasionally. I played a lot of really cool games in there, my favorite still being Aye Overlord which was a roleplaying card game. Not a stat based thing, literal role playing. Storytelling. It was hilarious as all hell.  falconeio played the overlord and made a pretty good one. He's a pretty neat guy with some special massage powers that he used to help a pressure headache i had acquired the first day of the con. I also met  Alltari in the game room who was another pretty neat guy too. There were other people like Shady, who if they have an FA i have no idea what it is.

When I went to the market place I got some stuff from Cerros [Draconicarcher],  WolfMama and  CorvusPointer. I had pretty long conversations with each of them and they were all amazing people! I could go on about them individually but my super wall of text is just growing and growing. I had attended a MD fur meet and greet where I met  Tokaga and his brother, as well as being the first time i saw  fox_in_boots though i talked more with him in the bar. Those were all of the people I can explicitly remember. I had seen a ton of people but those were the people who I got a chance to talk to as its VERY difficult for me to do so without putting a ton of effort into it but i'm more than happy for having doing so for those at least :3.

I attempted to go to the dances but my anxiety decided that watching other people enjoy themselves and being utterly unable to just let myself go wasn't going to be a good time. I also have decided that I'll be investing in getting a fursuit in the future. I have had a few times in my past where I had been given the chance to wear something similair and it was MASSIVELY easier for me to be more extroverted.

Anyways thats pretty much how the con went for me. My friend Amethystness showed up and helped me destroy a lot of my anxiety by being a walking location of familiarness which eased me a lot and let me be more goofy x3. She's also in the process of being converted to being furry something fierce now and will probably have an FA page in the near future [given that 20 people asked her if she had one]. She was the person in the Teal and black corset with the teal and black tail [which i found incredibly ironic that the non furry friend i had, had more furry paraphernalia than i did!].

Oh and I also won the bidding for the 0001 Badge at the con. It was going to be a very special piece of memory for me, but then silliness happened lol. So the printer missprinted the badge and gave me my old number again and it was going to be a double sided badge as they got it fixed and it was going to be printed badge 1... and the printer ran out of ink. It's ok though as i'll be getting something to make up for it next year and the badge i DID get, even though it had my own number on it [which was 48 so i was pretty early on the badge list] had been printed out saying i was Chairman level badge lol so it's just really unique anyways~. I will be attending next year's convention too barring my work doing something utterly catastrophic to my plans. I also hope to see all of the people i met again, and hopefully more people too!

Only took about three years and i'm sure a large percentage of them are mine, but I made it yay lol. I shouldn't worry too much about page views or anything but its nice to see it go up from time to time ^^

Kinda funny that i'm actually doing this but we'll see how it goes.

Went to my first meet-up here in MD. Was pretty fun though I started to clam up a bit when there were more people around. I saw/met a lot of people today but I didn't really catch everyone's names, or didn't directly interact with everyone. Played some brawl and did ok at it. I'm super rusty but others seemed to be too. I also got to try out a card game called dominion. It was a lot of fun but I didn't do so hot in that either. It was a good night overall though, but a combination of social anxiety and not wanting to drive in the supposed rain that was to come early this morning I had to leave. Hopefully i'll be able to make the next month's one, and maybe i'll have some of my cards to play with.

Today was my first day of having seasonal weather in a few years.

Well I have a new home here in Maryland. House is depressingly quiet and empty, and it'll be a while before any of my furniture makes it here. My car at least made it so I could go places... If I knew where to go. Going to have a lot of alone time here since I know nobody here.though it'll give me some time to practice drawing. I'm considering trying to find furries out here to hang out with, but I'm so damn quiet and shy in person I dint know how that'll go, our if I could muster the energy to find people @.@. And like that in a single day I have now reached the age to be a quarter of a century old. Happy that I've already received a lot of happy birthday type messages from friends already. I haven't seen my birthday cake yet officially [i accidentally snuck a peek at it while looking for food when it wasn't complete] but I think they made me a dragon cake :o in which case i'll take a picture of it and post it later. Other than those little things, this day probably wont be any different from the rest of them though. Getting older kinda makes these days less eventful.

So I've been on leave for a bit at my mom's and while its nice not having to worry about basically anything for a bit, its kind of lonesome at times when I can't just call up a friend and go hang out. I do have my brother to hang out with when he's not at work on his crazy schedule, and I can still hang out with some people on-line but they are still in their timezone which is a good 5 behind me now. I should probably work on something art related when I get the chance now that I have all this time. Possibly~

In the wake of the several going away dinners and parties for my departure from the island this monday I decided to trim off some of the individuals I've been watching on FA. I visit this site fairly frequently and to an extent this is the closest thing to facebook i'll probably ever have. Some of the artists I had been watching I had felt that I was for some reason trying to be their friends but that doesn't really go much of anywhere when the cliques have already been formed and I'm once again an outsider trying to break into the circle. In some circumstances I was just tired of their continual emotional spurts that would in turn become acidic if you showed any sort of compassion.

As much as I'd love to have a ton of people watching me to make me feel that I'm important, its not really what I need. Though I'll say watching the statistics for your artwork having 0 views for the couple days its been up is mildly soul crushing when you want feedback on your own progress in the eyes of others. I know I'm getting better, but people like verification from others and I can't seem to accept it from my real life friends because they think anything that isn't a stick figure is the most amazing thing ever.

I dont even care if someone tells me the art looks like shit, I just would like to know why it looks bad and what I could do to improve it. Anyways, going to stop that rant before it even starts. To those of you who are a part of the hawaii group that I got to meet, I am happy that I did get a chance to meet with you all, even if we didn't really hang out too much. I'm too much of a hermit to want to leave my house, and to be honest I really felt like an outsider a lot with a large portion of the group and couldn't get past that feeling to relax and be more myself and I hope things keep going on well with you all. I left the group on FA since well, I wont be hawaii anymore soon ^^;;

So for the past few weeks I have kicked back into gear, actually working to bring an old universe I had been working on to life.
Trying to deal with emotional herpy derp from having to move on from someone I loved and putting those mixed emotions to work for me.
From stress I shall create. Though the emotions are sad and empty most times, it wont be in my work, but thats whats fueling it now as with a desire to improve myself physically. I don't feel attractive so I've been working on that too. Been doing a lot of work outs periodically [pushups/situps other calisthenics] when i can or when i feel overwhelmed emotionally.

Not sure how long until I have a draft of a chapter up or not but one will eventually appear on here. The big idea is that eventually I'll get the finished thing published so i may not post the entire thing here when i do complete it, but people here would get to see a good portion of it for free.

So it seems i'm an INFP now, though its quite possible i was one the entire time. It actually seems to fit better with me not opening up to people right off the bat untill I feel how much i can open up to them. Anyways life is going alright and stuff, not that most anyone will even read this lol [ok there may be like 3 of you reading this lol] but I will also say, to those who play vidja games Oddworld Stranger's Wrath is amazing and it got an HD update! If you can afford it and like shooty games with a decent amount of humor and good plot, i'd say give it a try~

Making his horribly expensive tabletop mini's. Started to pick up Warhammer 40k models a couple months back. I had told myself that if they ever updated the Dark Eldar codex and came out with new models i'd buy them... so needless to say they DID come out and i bought quite a few of them. Army is tough to play though. Their vehicles may as well be made out of wet cardboard but they have a ton of speed and pretty good at killing things dead :3... though you BETTER kill your target or you are going to be dead lol. I actually have a slightly impressive lineup of models, though they are just coated in black spraypaint for their primer coat. Painting them is definately a bitch too! I had some practice space marine models and they came out gorgeous, little did I know [ok i had a hunch] that my guys would be about 300% harder to paint well. Just for some reference as to how tall these minis are, the infantry models are about 1 1/2 inches tall. These things are tiny! Too bad I dont have a camera to really show them off [probably wouldn't post them here since people would be like OMFUG WTF NO FURRY? RACKLE FRACKLE]. As usual i'm slacking off anything else artlike. Been supporting someone else becoming artlike though, and imma pretend that counts towards me being arty ;P Well anyways long journal is looongggg journal. Someday i'll draw shiz again [i actually drew one of my guys (sorta) but once again not furry,not going to upload ;P]
