Okay so I've been a bit on and off over the past couple of days. Basically, my laptop couldn't hang on any longer and, for the most part, refused to turn on. And on the rare occasions that it did, it was incredibly unstable. It was a problem with the motherboard and therefore not much I could do about it in terms of repair. I did manage to salvage the hard drive though so all the important stuff is okay.

This turn of events spurred me to put in an order for a new computer. The new computer that I've talked about for years now.

It's here. It's mine. I'm using it right now.

Yay.

- The worst election of all time is finally over. Thank. Fucking. God. When you have two candidates who spend their entire time ripping into each other about how terrible they are, no one rises above anyone, you just have two terrible candidates. At least the lesser evil won.

- I am so over the 'angry' reviewer. It's gotten to the point where it feels like people only play games just to find faults, regardless of how petty or unimportant.

- I will get to work on that new PC very soon. I'm looking forward to finally being able to play PC games from four years ago. Or....play PC games at all. And then the 360 (or PS3 whatever I feel like) will come and then everything will be cool.

- Uni's fine! Very busy, but I'm coping better than I thought. And I already thought I'd cope well.

I've had something on my mind for a while now. I'm not one to get depressed, but this is a something that's been popping up in my head more frequently lately, and it might be good therapy to get it off of my chest.

I'm really worried about my introversion. I hold myself back and overthink what I say so much that I don't really know if I'll ever get out of it. I mean I have trouble just saying hello to people over the internet. I'd love to come out of my shell and be more active and meet lots and lots of new people but....I stop myself, almost all the time. It should be so easy to change but I can't seem to do it.

I don't like the idea of painting myself as a loner but I think this journal's gonna do a pretty good job of that. Like I said, I'm not down, and I'm doing really well with every other aspect of my life...I just had to say this.

- Super Mario Galaxy 2 is so much fun. And it's nice and difficult too.

- A lot of the new Pokemon look really cool. There's a few that are a bit ugly but for the most part they look pretty nice.

- I haven't had a chance to try out Engy's new unlocks but I like all of the ideas behind them.

- Hopefully I'll have a new PC very soon. FINALLY. And then after that we'll see about a 360.

- I do sometimes feel that I'm too quiet. But I'm not sure how to fix that without it sounding like I'm forcing a conversation.

I wanted to make a new journal, and I've decided to give everyone who asks me 'how are you' or 'what's up' a real answer apart from 'good' and 'not much'. So here's a brief rundown of me at this point.

- Uni is going smoothly. We're getting close to the end of semester so there's a lot of stuff going on, and one class has an assignment due every week. It's nothing incredibly stressful or anything though. I've got it pretty well sorted, so it's not that big a deal.

- Still job hunting. I applied for a position at the Tax Office which was a dream job for me, but unfortunately I didn't make the cut. Pretty disappointing, but it was a lofty goal I guess. Other openings still pop up fairly regularly though, so all hope's not lost yet.

- In a month and a half I'll complete 21 laps of the sun. A bit of a scary thought at first, but I've grown more comfortable with it. It makes me reflect on how I've changed over the past year, and happily I can say my biggest change was a boost in self confidence, thanks mainly to my friends. So thanks guys.

- I feel good! I just do. That's me. I always find the positives in everything and nothing really gets me down. Maybe it's just a combination of apathy and ignorance. Whatever, it feels good.

No major dramas, no huge issues, I just have a boring yet cozy life. There's not much to it. I prefer discussing opinions anyway, of which I have quite a lot. And go ahead and ask me stuff, I love answering questions. So....there you go.
