NEW YEAR COMMISSION UPDATE and WORK SCHEDULE!!

Here's your good ol' Uncle Manthomex hoping the best for all of You in 2019!!
Then, this Journal will be useful for everyone that wants to follow my stuff and asking commission to me in the New Year, and to make clear some "rules" of my work schedule.
First to all: My Commission List is EVER open!! You can ask for commissions and book your slot everyday. The slots will be booked once the payment of the commission is recieved.
Commission Prices:
Comic Book Pages, Comic Book Covers or Splash Pages are
- 110 euro each, in black and white.
- 165 euro, in flat colors.
- 220 euro, in full shaded color.
Single Characters Art price may vary due to the type of the character chosen, his/her size, looks, outfit and so on. But overall Single Characters Art Prices starts from
- 75 euro each in black and white.
- 110 in flat colors.
- 150 in full shaded colors.
Please note that all this prices are VAT excl.
Sometimes i also accept Comic Strip (two panels) for smaller price of a Comic Book Page page, but this format is used just for quick humorous gags and not very elaborated scenes and, of course, must features a small amount of characters on scene. So if you want your story in comic strip format it's better to contact me to discsuss is the format is appropriate of your story idea.
Everyone that commish me will recieve the pencils preview of the page and i'll procede on the inking only after the pencils are approved. If there are something that you don't like in the pencils i usually accept to fix or change it, at this conditions: if there are some small changes (a character expression, the lenght of hairs, a different outfit detail or something like that, that didn't make me redo an entire figure or panel) i'll do it for free. If you want some bigger changes (an entire character size, the position of a charcter in the setting, a different "camera angle" and so on, things that make me redo an entire panel or more part of the page) i'll do for an additional payment that we can discuss at the moment you request the changes.
For long stories or big projects you can split the payment as you wish: a page at a time, first all the pencils, then all the inks and so on.
I accept every type of commission, except ones featuring underage characters in nude form or sexual situations and ones featuring rude toilet humour.
Patreon:
Everyone that wants to commish me should know that i'll post the commissioned page on my Patreon ( www.patreon.com/manthomex ) one month before posting it on FurAffinity and DeviantArt. So the committent must accept to not show in his/her pages and profiles before i post it on my FurAffinity or DeviantArt pages.
I can also accept some private commission or that not follows this Patreon schedule but should be more expensive than regular commissions. You can contact me if you want to discuss about commissions that will not be on Patreon or not divulged on DeviantArt or FurAffinity
Complete Nudity and sexual situations commission are accepted but you must know that these commissions will be released in their uncensored form ONLY on Patreon, and that will be featured on DeviantArt and FurAffinity in the "Manthomex's Cut" version, with no nudity or explicit sex showing. In this case the uncensored version will be given to the Commissioner's Eyes Only and my patrons, and the commissioners must accept to not show the commission in their pages if not in the "Manthomex's Cut" version.
Every Manthomex's Cut page of a story with a R-Rated setting, once uploaded on FA will feature a link in the description that will brings you directly on Patreon's uncensored page.
Piccion:
This year you'll have more of Piccion!! I have some projects in my head and in my table featuring our favourite fluffy little bird, but for now i just can say that i promise a new Piccion panel EVERY WEEK on https://www.deviantart.com/piccioncinema !! It could be a new one, or an old one in color, i'll decide week after week but be prepared to LOT of new Piccion funnies!!

The Last Goodbye to The Smiling Stan.
Posted 7 years agoThe worst news for everyone who lives for the comics - and now, making comics - has arrived. Stan "The Man" Lee has passed away.
I am not able at the moment doing some homage art for him. It's too hard.
So i choose to remind him with a smile - he's the "smiling" Stan after all! - the smile we shared when i met him in London years ago. We were young! I was not a pro cartoonist at the time, just a "fun"boy who have had the chance to meet a god between humans.

Just back from MANTHOMEX - DOUBLE FEATURE, my summer conventions tour, feat. Berlin Eurofurence 24 and Comic Con Amsterdam 2018.
Let's draw conclusions:
Eurofurence was a blast! As ever. The biggest european Furry Con confirms again as a really good place to sell my stuff and recieving lot of commissions side by side to making new friends and meet again old ones. The choice to be on the Artist Alley instead of Dealer's Den was a clever one, at the end: it was busy, but enjoyable!! It was also really great to have
redsilver and 
furry as roomates this year!! That makes my stay even more cool, as a former loner it was really fun to share a room with fellows artist and friends this time!! You are the best, guys!!
Comic Con Amstardam was an ok con. Not one of the best, far away to be one of the worst. Sunday was musch busier than saturday (pretty unusual) but overall it should have been much better. I've meet some cool people and i've enjoyed my stay, also, as a first timer in Amsterdam i spent the little spare time to make the toursit, for once! Even here i was so happy to meet and share some spare time and a diner with some old friends
precia-t and his hubby!! It was time, buddies!!
So, for the future, i am quite sure that i didn't repeat Amsterdam Con next year, still not sure about Eurofurence. I have some plans in my minds for next year that could not let room for summer cons, but it's too early to speak about it.
In the meantime let's me give a final huge THANK YOU to all the people to stop to my table at EF and Comic Con Amsterdam, you makes me proud of my work and you gives me energy to continue promoting myself on Cons around!! See ya in the Funny Papers!!

MANTHOMEX DOUBLE FEATURE PART 1 - EUROFURENCE !!

Here i am with the first Journal for my new Manthomex Double Feature Con Tour!! The first date will be about the annual EUROFURENCE, the biggest european Furry Convention set at Estrel Hotel in Berlin (Germany).
I'll be at the Eurofurence (EF) the 23th, 24th and 25th of August. But please note, this year i've opted for a slight different experience compared to the last years.
This year i WILL NOT BE at the Dealer's Den, like the past four years, but i'll be more free to move between the Artist Alley and the Artist Lounge.
The Artist Alley is first come first served, so i can't assure since now the days i'll be able to have a sit there but i can assure all of you that, during Alley's opening times if you can't find me at the Alley itself i'll be easily reachable at the near by Artist Lounge. I'm offering 10 CHEAP COMMISSION SLOTS (maybe more in the next month) but for now are just 10. Every slot is about a B/W Full Inked Full Figure drawn in A4 format - so please, reasonable requests, nothing extemely huge or super duper detailed!! - for just 20 euro each (plus 5 for fees).
It's a first come first served offer, so i'll do the cheap commissions for the first ten that write me and then made their payment.
You want one of this cheap commission slots? Easy: note me. Once i've accepted your character proposal (and only if i accept) you can procede with the payment. At this point one of the ten slots is yours.

Just back from a AWESOME experience in my first Horror Con hosting: Dortmund WEEKEND OF HELL!! I have to admit i didn't expect to work SO MUCH in a not strictly comic-based convention, and instead the Con get out like one of the most succesfull in my career!! That make me happy and very full of good vibes for things to come!!
I have had good time meeting a new warm and funny audience, the chance to share the booth with a great artist and friend Patrick Cornelis from Pangolin Comics and - for my still live and kicking inner fanboy - the honour to meet in person and donate him one of my artwork to my favourite living actor: Bruce Campbell!! The King himself!!

Everything turning quite amazing, well, quite everything (i have had a terrible outward jounreny, with my flight with FOUR F$%&ink Hours of delay that make me esasthed and pissed off), but the succesfull Con balanced it, at the end!!
Well, time to get back at the Commission List. As you can see i've a pretty pumped list (but it's still OPEN for new slots!! Just note me if you want to book one!!) and i'm already starting workin on it again. I've considered that - in this week and the upcoming one - everyone that have a payed active slot in my list will recieve AT LEAST one update on their stuff, i'll obviously procede in order of when the slots have been booked.
So, be prepared to fun stuff soon!!

i have a problem that maybe some of you could help to solve: i've still not recieved my Patreon payout (usually it's sent on the first of the month and arrive at least in five days) even if in "My Patreon" page it's set as sent on march the 1st.
At the moment we are way beyond the middle of the month i suppose there's a problem with that. And nothing has arrived by Patreon newsletter (usually the inform if there are some small problem).
Someone using Patreon is having my same problem? Obviously we are speaking of the "February payout" that should have been sent in the 1st of this month.
And if you have recieved your monthly payout without problem do you have a mail where i could present my prolem? The only one i've found on "Contact Us" seems not related at all at this kind of stuff.

MANTHOMEX EUROPEAN TOUR 2017 is ended!!
Posted 7 years agoWell, i have to say it, this year i was pretty busy on promoting myself as an artist around European Conventions, during my "European Tour 2017" i hosted Brussels Comic Con, German Comic Con - Frankfurt, Berlin Eurofurence, London Super Comic Con, VIECC - Vienna Comic Con and now German Comic Con - Dortmund, also i've hosted the Batman Day - Harley Quinn in the biggest Rome comic shop and i take part at a couple of smaller events in my homecity.
With small exceptions it totally worth the effort: i met lot of fun people, old and new friends, colleagues and fans!!
German Comic Con - Dortmund confirm that: it was a very cool show, maybe not as great as last year one, but still a solid, fun, convention!!
Sadly it constantly rained and snowed during my Germany stay and, even if i come well prepared for cold weather, i came back home with a very bad cold and flu. Now i need to restore myself a little, taking back my daily work schedule and life rythm.
On that side i am already at the work at my usual commission list, so expect lot of new pages in the next days!!
At the moment i don't have a clear plan for conventions and show i'd like to host in the New Year, but i've still something BIG and NEW in my mind, without forgetting regular favourite cons!!

Just back from VIECC - Vienna Comic Con, at it was a blast, hands down!! The Con was one of the greatest of the year and one of my most cool comics experience so far!! The audience was incredibly warm, interested and respectful to my work!! I also have had the chance to have some fun with and hang around with old and new friends from the international Comic World. Really a cool weekend!!

The best EF so far and a not impressive LSCC.

Just returned from my "Double Feature" Cons trip!! It was andventurous and have had its great parts!!
Let's start with the Berlin EUROFURENCE: it was a blast!! My best EF so far, between the four i have already hosted. Absolutely warm audience, great new people to know, old friends to meet once again and LOT of sketches and commission to do.
Hands down, I LOVE EUROFURENCE!! Also, it's a growing show, this year i've seen lot of new people and the organization - except for some issues they have for the registration, the first day, immediately solved - for me - by the Dealer's Den crew - it's pretty good as ever. I have to say that the improved Taxi service, from Airport to the Con and return is something that helped a lot on saving time and energy!!
Then, LONDON SUPER COMIC CON: sadly it wasn't as good as i expected and as good as the other three edition i've already hosted.
The organization is still made of sweet people, and everything works in that way. The new setting (Business Design Centre) is utterly beautiful, with great spaces for dealers and artist. But, maybe for the changing of setting and period, maybe for the Bank Holyday time, i have to say they haven't so much of audience, and also, people coming seems to be mainly interested to the Big Names working (or that have worked) for Marvel, DC, Disney and very they have very few attention on indy publishing and freelance artist. It seems that the LSCC audience is pretty specialized and there is less space for the random audience, that's usually part of my audience at the Comic Cons. Also, the fact that the Artist Alley was set in another hall, respect to the main hall made it less easy to reach for random visitor. Again: people searching for their favourite artist come there immediately, but i have had the impression that some part of the randon people not even pass through the Alley.
In a few words: EUROFURENCE is confirmed as one of the greatest convention of the year, for me, and surely a Con to repeat, on the other hand, London is still one of my favourite European cities to visit and hang by, i have friends there and every years i have so much fun to meeting them and spend some time togheter, so i surely wants to return in London but maybe trying a different Con there.
A couple of cheers for fellows DA and FA artist and friends, i have had the chance to meet again, at EF, redsilver and furry and, at LSCC, to know in person 
jollyjack sharing some sketch with them!! Such sweet people and top artist!!
