Not really either way. I believe that it should be the woman's choice, sure. But some states already have it legalized, I believe, and nothing bad as truely come of it.

Hell no. Why would it? We already had a retarded one, and we're still alive. XD Besides. I've seen PLENTY of accomplished woman politicians, American or not. And the ones that led the country have been pretty damn good. I believe that we should have a woman president in my lifetime, at LEAST.

[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?

No. I don't believe that killing anyone for any reason is justified. Life in prison can be hell. Solitary confinement for a WEEK will be torturous. Even if you killed a million people in cold blood, being stuck in a cell with no one but yourself for company will break you eventually.

[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?

Yes. I wouldn't smoke it personally, but unlike most illegal drugs, it is harmless. Cigarettes and alcohol do more damage to the body. That, and there are several things that can be made from hemp (paper, fabric, shampoo) that are superior to what we use. All in all, I think that only good would come from it.

Sure. Just be safe when you do it, unless you are trying for a child.

This is a bit complicated. I believe that there is definitely something out there that is powerful enough for US to call God. But I also believe there's something more powerful than that. The universe is infinite (I believe), so there will be an infinite number of things out there. For all we know, we might be in the colon of a gigantic space-beast. XD

[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?

DUH. Think of it. If gays can get married, that's more money in the system. That'll stimulate the economy. Also, what's the point in denying them that right? "It's a choice! We aren't going to tolerate it". Number one, it's not. Number two, even if it WAS, straight couples aren't denied based on choices THEY make. Besides. All gay married couples I've seen have EXCELLENT marriages, while several straight ones I've seen/heard of are exceedingly rocky and confrontational.

[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?

I believe it's wrong that we care so much. Sure, they want a better life...but what exactly is so horrible? They only seem to take jobs we don't want (ever seen an illegal immigrant as a CEO?), they can't exactly mooch off of the government without a social security number, and the excuse of "Terrorists coming in through the border" seems to apply to Canada more. I'm not saying legalize it, but I'm saying that our resources would do better elsewhere.

[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?

No. It's not fair to either the mother or the child. I believe that an abortion would be the best bet, as the birth wouldn't be a healthy one. The child would either die or have several health and mental issues, and the mother would be maimed. And if it's already born, then it should be put up for adoption.

I believe so. People can die for their country but not get a stiff drink?

HELL YES. We had no issue with Iraq. It was Afghanistan we had an issue with, and still do. And about the leader...well, we're all set now, aren't we? The world already hates us. But they won't think we're weak after what we've done already.

Was the WORST day of my life. The whole time, people were thanking those who got them to where they are. Friends, family...well, I couldn't name anyone. The only people that did were online. I spent those four years alone in this hellhole of a school, and I had no fond memories to look back on.

And then my parents asked me why I was so upset...I've never seen them cry like that. They were hurt that I thought that they weren't there for me, and thought that they were bad parents. This is FAR from the truth, and I know that it's necessary for them to be away a lot. I don't blame them. It isn't their fault that they have to be at work late. They're doing it for me and my little sister, and I will always love them for that. I was upset that no one had a choice in this matter, that they simply had no way of being home earlier.

But that wasn't any excuse for what I have done. My grandparents came. There was also my other grandma (my grandfather has passed away), who is in her late 80s (possibly early 90s) and likely won't live to see my sister's graduation. My other grandparents drove all the way from Delaware (I'm in Rhode Island) to see me in my proudest moment, and instead, saw a crying 18 year old so wrapped up in self-pity that he was unable to see that this day was mostly for them, not him.

This has been the most selfish thing I have ever done, and I'm DISGUSTED with myself that I did this. Right now, I'm just posting this to explain why I might be less than happy for a while. I don't expect sympathy. On the contrary, I expect to be reamed out for this. But it's only fair to tell you guys, because even if I know NOW that I wasn't alone those four long years, I still believe that you guys were the only ones that I knew without a doubt were there to hear my emo bitching. >< So there you have it. Every time I have an issue, and I talk to someone, they always have it worse. I complained about the pressure of the project I was doing, and then the person said that they had to re-do their whole project in a week. I bust my lip open, and a girl on the bus gets a massive nosebleed. And the worst part is that not only do I feel like an asshole because I'm complaining about apparently trivial problems, but I'm irritated because not a single person even acknowledges my issues. I understand that it's not priority to deal with the upset people over the despondent ones. But just one person. ONE person to notice. Not even help. Not even truly pay attention. "Hey, are you alright?" That's all. I'm not the type to post emo-ish journals, but this has been weighing heavily on my mind for a month or two. The people here on FA and on MSN have been amazing with this, so there's no need to think that it's one of you guys. It's people in the real world (that I dread having to see every day, but I deal with it). My issues might be trivial, but they've been eating away at me for a long time, and I just needed to vent.

But it's not my place to pity myself. There are others that need more support than me atm.  abbyinflatabletabby's cat just died, and he's extremely upset by it. Please try to help him. He's a great person and an amazing friend.
