Posted 6 months agoFinally I can at least partially hide my old nickname MagicDed and put Lunak as my display one. Unfortunately even if the system will allow us to truly change our nicknames on FA the lunak username is already taken by someone who has registered and never visited FA again >:c

Lately, I have been eager to make a small lore rewrite to have a proper prehistory of my devious sona Lunak, the potato dragon. At the moment it is somewhat complete, but I just need to make it more sensible and polish it more. Nevertheless, the purpose of this journal is to let you to ask anything you wish about Lunak whether from Lunak himself or even from me. It helps a lot for his world building to explore areas which I have never thought of or to make his existing foundation better, as well as fulfill your curiosity

Lunak's Lore
Posted 2 years agoHello! I present you a slightly rewritten newer version of Lunak's lore. Feel free to ask any questions him, I will be happy to answer to any question about him since it will develop him more and I encourage that :P
Lunak is a Western Dragon in approximately his mid ages with unexplained love to potatoes and his mischievous mind with rather special abilities on his paws for his deeds. No one knows when and how he has appeared but what is known once he did appear he was quickly spreading acknowledgement about himself to others. He is around 9-10 feet tall with an ability to change his height from a small cat to up to 25-30 feet. He dislikes being tall a lot because it makes him to stand out too much and pretty hard to sneak somewhere so that's why he usually stays within 9 feet range. Additionally Lunak gets pretty tired rapidly while being in his larger form which he will use only if it is absolutely necessary. He loves to wear his flower halo on his head at all times, covering his sins behind it and because it just smells nice and make him wholesome :3
Lunak is a shapeshifter with limited abilities. As he says himself, he is a dragon shapeshifter allowing him to shapeshift between various dragon forms quickly from Scaly Western to an Eastern Noodle, to a Wyvern and back to Furried Western Dragon. On the other hand rumors says that he can shapeshift to other species too, but he dislikes it a lot.
Lunak can switch between these forms with ease but mostly he appears as a Scaly Western version of himself while mostly his spirits take his other dragon forms.
There is also a myth that booping him while he is being in his Scaly Western form may cause him to force shapeshift into a Furried Western Dragon form and vice versa. He has no control over this specific shapeshift process which may explain his biting behavior when someone tries to get his finger close to his nose
Speaking of spirits, Lunak is able to multiplicate himself into many copies of himself making hunting or any other activities easier for him to achieve. They can be material or they can be in form of spirits which can interact with material world. He has a full consciousness and control over his copies but with limitations. If Lunak's spirits get lost or get too far away from Lunak the connection between them can interrupt causing his spirits to act on their own with their basic silly animal instincts. It is known that his spirits will rapidly become much smaller versions of themselves to the size of a cat. If they were material then they would turn into spirits. They are not noticeable in the wildness and there is no way of detecting them but it is known that usually one may stick to a bag or a field of potatoes as one of their instincts to their favorite food.
It is possible for people to pick them up at a store with a bag of potatoes or to summon them by making Lunaks totems or sculpts. In a case if they were brought to home they can be stuck to the house or to the person who have brought them in. Nothing usually happens for a week or two(depends on a size of a house or an apartment) as the spirit is learning his new area.
When spirit is done learning about his new place people may notice item movement around the house, disrupts of electronics or weak signal of their devices. When the spirit is angered it is possible for them to get too out of hands which can cause some electronic devices to fail completely.
This spirit behavior could led people to believe they have a ghost in the house calling them House Keeper/Domovoy/Domowik and others types of home based ghosts. The reason to the behavior of these spirits are their feral mischievous instincts causing the mischief all over the place. Though it is possible to appease or calm them down by various cookings containing potatoes which will make them to gather around it and wait to snatch a bit from it when its done.
If the Lunak himself will appear around the lost spirits, they may come back to unite or they may travel and stick close to him as an energized mischief aura. Rarely some of them may get too used to their new place and stay there instead.
