dear god it's snowing great big giant flakes....I am just gonna stay inside all day today.

I am getting into digital artwork now and was hoping to do some cheap digital doodles to get some more practice in. And since i'm not that good yet I want to offer these for somewhere in the neighborhood of like 10 bucks for a full figure and about 5 bucks for a bust sketch. Can be color OR black and white. :)

This year has been such royal suck that I'm so ready for it to be over. Between deaths in the family, increases in debt, job stress, health issues, and bad internet for a while there.....I'm done. Just done with this year and ready for a whole new year and a whole new leaf. So LETS GO 2012...FUCK YOU 2011.

I GOT A NEW PRINTER/SCANNER!!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYYY

I will be doing an experimental print on demand sort of thing and orders for prints of my pieces are open for an undertermined amount of time. I will be printing on 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 at 7, 10, and 12 dollars a piece respectively. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT PRICE - I may change the price as I find out how much ink my new printer uses and how much it costs to send these out to the addresses they are ordered from. Let me know which piece you like and I will let you know if it can be printed and sold ( most of my pieces can, I just have to make sure I can locate the high quality files for a couple of them. ) Also commissions are still open!!

I guess its a good thing I have a good camera on my phone seeing as how that's the only way I'm uploading sketches as of late. My all-in-one printer scanner thingy took a shit on me and I have to go use a scanner elsewhere so I'm only going to use it when I need to upload finished pieces. Life sucks as of late and i'm just....trying to get through it x.x;;;

Figured I should update in here to let you all know i'm still around. It's been crazy busy and this is the first somewhat calmer bit of time this week. Things are going to get stupid crazy again and the quarter gets rolling and the workload increases. I will also be trying to get funding and scholarships for another year here at RIT because I will be applying this quarter to the Art Education Masters program ( 38 credits - one year of study).
I reeeeaaallly want to get in and I might be opening up commissions as soon as I get more of my work up on the site for you to see and decide if you might wanna grab a commission from me. I will be learning digital art this quarter as well so you might see me begin to transition into adding that to my skillset along with my traditional skills in watercolors and oils. WISH ME LUCK! D:

I am also going to be looking for a job and an apartment here in the area by my college as a starting point to begin the rest of my life and so I will need all the luck, perseverance, and jobs I can get! Oklahoma is fully of animal rescue centers, sanctuary's an rehabilitation centers. The Little River Zoo located here in my hometown is one of these places. Recently the owner has accumulated a lot of debt and the zoo is no longer available to the public- which is not only cruel to the animals but keeps our local boy scouts and schools from learning about our local wildlife. In addition to that, they are at risk of being shut down. What this means is that the land will be reclaimed and probably turned into a housing district and the animals- some of which are vulnerable or endangered- will be sent to potentially worse facilities and those that aren't in danger of extinction will probably be euthanized. Many of these animals have been in captivity for a while or have injuries that still need tending to so releasing them at the Witchita Mountains isn't exactly an option either.

In order to help them raise money I've started a few projects. I will be making sculptures, watercolors, badges, icons, etc. If I get a commission, 50% of what I charge will go towards the Little River Zoo fundraiser.

I've got some doodles to upload and I'll get to them soon after the holidays I hope. i've gotten a habit of doodling my SL friends a lot and so I may upload some of those when I get them scanned lol :) I am still alive and well and will hopefullt get some art up soon.

SO ... i'm back at my family's house from college, getting ready in the next few weeks to fly to florida to work at disney world for five months. I might take some sketch commissions while i'm down there depending on my schedule. we'll see, on the other hand I'm still on SL all the time....I'm the one with the INSANELY long name so i'm told <3 makes me laugh every time someone comments on my name. I love it xDDDDD. Not much in the way of updates in art at the moment but hopefully i'll get back to my sketchbook soon lol. I'll be online intermittenly for the next three weeks or so while getting ready to go and spending time with family. not too much in terms of art news or anything, but just a general update since I haven't done one in a LOOOOOONNNGG time on here lol.

So I'm sure you've noticed the incredible upswing of submissions from me and that they are all screenshots of second life lol. I have a lot of fun with that feature. I'm not just an artist but a photographer too and I love taking pictures and so the snapshot feature was right up my ally. I've been having a lot of fun with it documenting my adventures so to speak. It's rather amusing and a lot of fun. I do have some actual artwork ( some sketches really) to post so they will go up as soon as I can scan them :) Also remember I'm still taking two more commission slots for sketch commissions so let me know if you are interested. Also I am now taking on Sketches for Lindens! 5$ USD equivalent of L$ (1200L$) will be the price for a sketch for those of you on second life! ((there will only be two of these at a time thanks!! --currently both are open!!!!!!))

I totally sucked it up and got a second life account. No jk, I figured it was time to get one since everyone else seemed to be having fun with it so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. :) I'm kinda glad I did because it is interesting to say the least. So now I'm on Zomg on Gaia and Second Life, what mmo type thing will I join next? Hopefully no more for a while lol. Still getting used to the controls on second life with my poor confused mac that lagged just a bit on it's first venture into SL. LOLz, poor mac :).so I'm doing sketch commissions right now, also I am open to finished pieces commissions on a case by case basis, tell me what you're thinking and I'll tell you if I'll have the time to do it :), got school coming up so I have to be careful of what I take on because I would hate to not be able to give you guys what I promise. I have been neglectful of this account for far too long and am not on here often enough to catch when people have commented :(. on another note, I feel I'm beginning to come out of my art slump and plan on taking full advantage of it by drawing like crazy and not letting myself fall into another one :). Any ideas or suggestions on things to draw would be fantastic just to get me going and get some practice in again!
School starts up again in another month and I will be headed back to NY for some fun. Also if I have the money you will see me at NYAF for anyone who is going!
