I doubt anyone will see this or even care to open this journal, but to those who may stumble across it, I've decided to make a new account under my current username I use everywhere else, Crookinspine . As of the time I'm writing this the account is completely empty, that will change soon enough.

I'm choosing to keep this account up purely for archival purposes and to point and laugh at my 13 year old self, you will likely never see anything new here ever again.

So I doubt many people are going to see this but I think I'll be primarily moving over to DA. I know it's really not the greatest place but I'm getting some sort of traction over there so I want to shoot my shot and see if I can do something with it. Like it has an actual algorithm rather than here, once your submission falls off the first page then it just gets kind of buried yk.

I might start posting here again in the future if they ever add that username change feature, I've been going by SouFloufe for like a little over 1 and a half years now and I'm thinking about 'rebranding' again, give it a more sinister feel and perhaps start piddling with music. It's keeping me up at night, lol. But even then I'd probably make a new account anyway, disable or delete this one since it's just a bit of a mess now and I don't have the time nor patience to spend on cleaning it up.

Ik I just kinda stopped uploading here suddenly, but I still check in every once in a while so my notifs don't pile up too much and so I can favorite a couple things, haha.
BUT I haven't stopped drawing, and this weekend + yesterday I got a good bit of owed things done, thank god MLK. We also got a hefty bit of snow down here, so that's another thing ig, and no school tomorrow because if it, yesss...

I'm thinking about taking a small break from art/posting for a lil bit since my scoliosis is really bugging me now, in the right shoulder blade region, and I draw/write with my right hand. :'^) I got an x-ray about two weeks ago or so when we were on spring break and things don't seem that much worse than last time a few years ago, if I remember correctly anyway... My mom suggested I was maybe using my drawing tablet/touchpad to navigate too much, since she had the same stiff arm/shoulder pains when she worked in an office when she was younger.
My resting finger, that I lay my drawing utensil on, (middle finger) isn't looking so pretty either, the skin around the nail is detaching for some reason? It's happened to about halfway at the nail arch, so now there's a little empty space under the skin, I'm a heavy-handed person when it comes to drawing and sketching, so that's been causing me some pain too, sldkfj-

So yeah, that kind of sums it up I guess...
If I do post it'll probably art I did sometime before this journal, or art I'm almost done with, maybe even school projects too if I'm up to it or nah.

Soooooo, I was thinking, should I record some songs I play on my piano and post them here as audio files? I don't just play classical, lol, I make 'covers', I guess, of some songs I like, like Megalovania I can do so I can annoy you all. :)
If it's something like a 'cover' then it's probably not gonna be the whole song, it's most likely just gonna be a segment or the chorus/main part. :P
I'm not a musical whiz, like Daniel Thrasher, lol, so don't expect something high-tier, eheh. ;w;

(Omg, I had to retype this whole thing when I was just about done, UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH-)

So the good news is that my stepsis sent me a huge box full of goodies, those goodies including various things such as pencils, lil figurines, a pair of sunglasses, and like 4 bracelets and 3 different mood rings. XD There's much more than just that tho, haha. I'm wearing the simplest mood ring rn as well as almost all the bracelets. (one was getting uncomfortable so I took it off) The other rings were a bit too extravagant for me. XD Luv mah sis. <3

The bad news is about my mom. (yes, again, sorry-) She hasn't been talking to me much lately, and the moment she does she raises her voice. And she talks to dad about my problems when I'm in the room as if I'm not there. She just straight up ignores me. For example, last night when I was in lying in bed awake I heard her ask my dad if I'd fed my lizard or not, and I got up to tell her that I did and she didn't need to, and after calling her like 3 or 4 times before she turned around and said: "Why should I listen to you if you never listen to me?"
She already had the mealworms in her hand and had probably dropped a few in there already. I just don't wanna overfeed my lizzy boi, I've already had pets die in my care, I don't wanna let this one go too after just a few weeks of having him. ; - ;

Does anybody else think she's acting like a kid? I think so, though that might just be me...

Last night my mom finally snapped and threw my clipboard at me and slammed my Chromebook down on my frikin wrist (multiple times in an angry attempt to close it) in anger about my grades...she hasn't yelled at me like that in ages...she also said she'd cancel my art class if I didn't catch up when art is probably the only thing that's keeping me sane right now...

Anywho, I'm looking for art of some of my characters to make me feel a bit better, even though right now I feel awful as my eyes are puffy from crying last night and my scoliosis is acting up and making my back hurt. ;w;

Welp, school's starting up again, and we're going with plan C. That means all education is to be done online. Last time it was hectic, and now, instead of the free rein of 'you can do your work whenever' it's more like 'hey, it's 8 in the morning, time for our scheduled Zoom meeting and orientation with our principle and stare at that one blinding Chromebook screen when you literally just got up' And from 8AM-3PM we're in Zoom videocalls, constantly staring at screens for every scheduled class. Like, I wanna try and get my work done EARLY for once and have the rest of the evening off, instead of having to wait on every single individual figure out how to get into Zoom meeting. ( -._-.) I honestly think this'll be more hectic than the last school year...
