I'm currently putting together options for him to contact about getting a short 2D animated promo made for our company. He's checking the local talent, and I agreed (naively) to solicit the Internet. So if there are people I should look into contacting, PM me or reply to this journal but please keep in mind:

- Content has to be SFW
- 2D animation only please
- A light, cartoony-style is preferential
- Ability to draw trees and vegetation is an asset

So looks like I'm saving up for a Switch.

First impressions of gen 8 Football Hooligan starters:
Grookey - Keeper position, probably implies it'll be Defense-weighted. Very cute, I remain hopeful for its evolutions. Not sure what, if any, it's second element might be.
Scorbunny - Striker position, Attack-weighted almost certainly. I swear to god if it's another fire/fighting 3rd evolution I'm going to tear off my eyebrows. Some have suggested fire/electric but that's... really awesome, and I hope they're right.
Sobble - Dribbler position, going to guess speedy rather than bulky but water-type starters tend towards bulk so it could go either way. Sort of a chameleon/basilisk lizard, hard to say what it'll end up looking like but marine iguana is my guess.

Love the setting, really nice to see Meowstick in the teaser. I have three other hopes for this generation:

1) Since it is an even-numbered generation, we MIGHT, MAYBE, POSSIBLY (but probably not) get an new eeveelution. Fingers crossed for Dragon!

2) Since the setting is England (broadly), maybe we might get a dragon line that looks like a proper dragon? Like a big red Welsh dragon.

3) Corgi pokemon. The Champion has 2 of them. Also the Champion is Queen Elizabeth II.

Disclaimer part deux: I'm not going to do requests for free character art. Don't be that guy. I don't care if you think "I would be really good at it" or "But it's my birthday". There are a LOT of talented people on this site who do cheap commissions, and you should support them instead of beg for freebies.

So I finished FF15 yesterday and I've sort of been wandering around in a haze of sadness and confusion. I feel lost, because even though I still have a significant amount of the post-game to do, the story's over. The credits have rolled, the curtain's dropped, the lights have gone down. I don't feel triumphant, or accomplished, or even really satisfied. I did what I set out to do and now it's over - I can revisit those memories but I know that's all I'm doing. There's nothing "new" to see.

If that sounds like a criticism, it's not, not even a little. It's been a long time, probably an unhealthily long time, since I felt such a profound sadness. It's a parting of ways that'll stay with me for a long time, and that's a good thing. Not every strong feeling is a good one, but feeling anything at all aside from frustration and ennui is great (Sidenote: seasonal affective disorder can suck my ass).

Very much like finishing a novel where you've really grown attached to the characters, at some point the book ends and you put it back on the shelf. Some day you'll probably pick it up again, and even if you never get around to it, you'll think about it now and then. And I think for all of its many and sometimes glaring flaws, I might love this game for that. It's something I'll think about long after I'm done with it as a game.

It's part of the reason I haven't finished the last book in the Temeraire series - I have it on my shelf but somewhere in the last few pages of that book is an end to it all, and the door to a strange and wonderful world will close. It was the same with finishing the Lord of the Rings, or Harry Potter, or War of the Spider Queen (even if the last book was terrible) - the long road ends and you're left at your front door again, your companions of many adventures gone with only the memory to mark their passage.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this - was there a work of fiction in your life, whether it was a book, a game, a movie, or a series, that left a strong and lasting impression on you?

I'm going to university in a few months, and I'd like to make some money both while I'm there and in the meantime. Once I get paypal set up, I'm going to be open for a few commissions every month. I'll be doing black and whites, flat colours, and full colours, with base prices ranging from $5 to $15 dollars CDN, plus complexity, number of characters, and content. G-rating to NSFW, I'm just not super thrilled to do complex "must be EXACT" markings. So, I've reached a point in WoW where its the thing I play sort of absently when I'm watching a movie or arguing with my boyfriend over who would win a fight between Apollo Creed and Mister T (Creed all the way) and its bothering me a bit. I've drifted away from my core group of friends, and the guys I do hang out with there are much more interested in raiding while I'm at work than trying to earn rare mounts or the like. I'm excited for the expansion, but it feels like I don't really have anything to do in the meantime except for levelling alts (which is about as fun as bashing yourself in the head with a snow shovel.)

I'm wondering though if I should adopt another MMO? Having paid off my car I now have a few extra dollars each month, putting them towards Star Wars: Old Republic might breathe some fresh life into my gaming experience. Taking a break from generic fantasy for a bit might make it seem fresh again when I do go back to it, and if nothing else, it'll help me kill time while I wait for the impending Pandaclysm.

Has anyone else played it? Is it bad? Are the graphic requirements heavy? Are the players raging douchecannons bent on killing everyone? Is there the option to not engage in world PvP? Will I like this game?!

- No, Ryltar likes to eat raw meat (especially people)

- He has a short temper and resolves his problems with violence.

- He is a boy, and is an anthro cat

- no

- do a 20ft standing jump

- People just assume he's a furry Drizzt (he is most certainly NOT thank you)

- he's very strong and perceptive, as well as having superior balance and mad fighting skills

- a much shorter fuse and an inferior grasp of the common tongue

- yes (but that would be telling)

- Nope! I have no shame

- I plan on actually writing the story he is feaured in. and drawing more sex with Trey

- Being able to see in complete darkness. It would make me a happy Llewr.

- I've comandeered Trey from my boyfriend (he was originally his character) and his ally Binx is loosely based off of my sister (but Binx is 10 times more annoying than even her worst moments)

- Not yet, but its in the works

21. How has your character changed since his/her first creation?
- Yes, he used to be a wanderer and a good guy. Now he's a mercenary-turned-brigand and an asshat

Hello everyone. I used to have an account here back in the fall-out of SheezyArt, but it fell into disuse and was probably terminated as this site's gone under countless renovations (or else I can't remember my username) but please, if you see art that looks exactly like mine, then give me the site address as that's my old account and I'm most certainly NOT an art theif!
