School's finally over as well as the mad summer kennel rush, and puppy season, and show season, and pretty much everything. So I have a crap ton of free time and basically spend it sitting around bored out of my mind staring at the wall and wondering why I have no friends. So on that note, I'm opening commissions to maybe try and fend off some of this boredom.

No specific number of slots but I am going to be a little picky this time around on which comms I accept to complete. I'm going through a little bit of emotional trauma right now that's kinda making it hard to concentrate on really big pieces. So I'm not accepting anything obscenely detailed, nothing with multiple OCs, and I'm probably going to cringe at anthros (*listens to pretty much all of FA run away ><*). So in light of some irl stuff I've had an increase in depression and anxiety attacks and so I'm going back on an antidepressant called Prozac. I've been on it before so I knew this first week was basically hell but I didn't anticipate it being THIS hard. So I'm looking for things to do/special foods/etc that can put off these awful feelings and muddled brainwaves until the medicine can finish kicking in. Thus, I ask you guys, my watchers~

Have you had depression in the past? What did you do to cheer yourself up? Was there any particular playlist you listened to? Maybe a special diet or TV show?

I'd love to hear what you guys have to say, anything helps!

This journal is just to let you know that I'm clearing my queue. I am only going to work on art trades that are waiting on my half. If you finished your half I WILL keep you on the list but I'm not going to do any requests that haven't already been finished and commissions are closed.

I just don't have the emotional capacity to do much outside of getting out of bed nowadays and I don't want to work on any art until I know I can maintain a good turnaround time.

On that note, I know that I haven't really been arting in general and I'm not convinced that's likely to change. Classes have just started up for me and between that and work, I'm hoping I stay too busy for down time.

So funny story about those art trades/comms/requests.
I was up late last night with my headphones on, watching Attack on Titan and working on all these arts I owe when I saw some funny lights outside and heard the fish tank dripping extra loud. After like an hour of dripping and stuff and I finally got off my tall chair and stepped right into 2 inches of water.
Now I'm sitting in my bedroom while four men tear up my carpet to replace it and are cutting holes in my wall to find the pipe that busted due to a building flaw and the cold weather. On top of that I've been frantically moving stuff around and hiding my second cat (who is a breach of contract) so... kinda busy. I promise I'm getting stuff done but the arts gotta be put on hold til I can sit at my (hopefully not ruined) dining table again with my tablet.

I finally got off my lazy butt to make a commission sheet with official prices! Every time I would sit down to work on it I'd get distracted with giftarts. OTL One day I will figure out how to draw art for myself!
