ONLY ONE DAY TILL BURNING MAN!
Tom and i have already come most of the way across the U.S. to find ourselves in a hostel in Salt Lake City. We got here hours ago and have just been bumming around and eating some really great food. I really cant think of a good way to organize this journal so i will just break it down stop by stop.

Chicago- Was good! We stayed in a crappy hotel about 15 min outside the city. We visited china town and it was huge and full of tacky gift stores. We also went to Millennium park and i got to touch a giant metal bean. Then i got to go into a good comic store and later i got a real Chicago style hotdog (i am a hotdog enthusiast).

Des Monies- NICEST CITY EVER. Seriously. Des Monies has lots to do, a low crime rate, and the way they planned the city makes rush hour obsolete. And the streets are so clean! Even the back alleys have like, nice shrubs and no hobos or puddles of crack head urine.

Wyoming- Stayed in a rest stop in car. Wyoming is really boring.... yeah that pretty much it.

Salt Lake City- Is good. This hostel is kind of creepy, but i have a room mate from japan named Chi Ho and shes nice. Tom has some guy from British Columbia bunking with him and hes cool too. The city has lots to do and some great graffiti. Tom and i went to a place called Noodles and Company that is kind of like Chipotle only with NOODLES!!! Then we got ice cream at a place called Luna Berry, we got mango soft serve with fresh kiwi and blueberry. The only complaint i have is these creepy trailer park-looking people that are bumming around the hostel. i don't think they are staying here as guests it looks like they live here. One asked me for a dollar and i said no. I wish they would go away.

Ok so i broke down and actually went to buy a medication for my cough, something i never do. I spent 20$ on it and i am still sick, even worse maybe. Whatever.

We leave for burning man the day after tomorrow!. F*ck yeah. I was looking at the list of activities different camps are hosting and i found an adopt a garden gnome program! They give you a gnome and a disposable digi cam and just ask that you return the camera at the end of the festival, full of pictures of you and your gnome friend doing things together. YOU GET TO KEEP THE GNOME!!!!!!
Plus there is a camp that helps you find your spirit animal, and a camp that helps you decorate your shot glass and tons of camps that are showing movies and naked people doing odd things!
Now all i have to do it get through one more day at chipotle and i will be good....

Woke up today and i STILL have this cough. I almost died during Muay Thai class on monday and i have not even been to my kickboxig class for about a week. I also quit jogging and volunteering at the Humane Society is order to just get better fast but its not working.
Gooder news is my Burning Man road trip is now less than 10 days away, i just hope i am better by then.
