Pokemon's 30th anniversary
General | Posted 4 days agoAlthough I never played any of the games myself (though I did see a few of the early anime episodes), I hereby acknowledge to the people who love it that it was 30 years ago today that Nintendo debuted the Pokemon franchise. Why did my parents not allow me to get involved? 1) They were teaching me why the Bible tells us not to follow the trends of the world, but instead be leaders and get people to follow us, and 2) they didn't understand what all the fuss was about, or what was the whole point of the games or anime. However, it was hugely popular then, and it remains one of Nintendo's best franchises today.

The Patriotic Pounder (Rules the Ring) - Song Lyrics (SUNO)
General | Posted a month agoAlthough I will forever preach that the best music made is the music made by human beings out of their own accord, I had been using Suno AI, a music generator, in coming up with themes for my wrestling OCs. The site gives you two options for lyrics (or three depending on how you judge it): in simple mode, you type the prompt, and whether or not you want it to be instrumental or have lyrics. You're then stuck with the lyrics it gives you. In custom mode, you can write the lyrics yourself, and tell it what styles you want. Alternatively, you can select the styles and voices, but tell it to write the lyrics, and then you can modify them.
I had decided that while the lyrics might still pop up at times, I'll differentiate how I share the lyrics with all of you. If I post it as a submission, then I will have written the lyrics myself entirely from scratch. If I post it here on a journal like this one, then Suno will have generated the lyrics for me (or in other cases, a different source such as Google Gemini will have done the rough draft, and I'll modify it depending on how I want it to be. The latter is the case here with the wrestling theme lyrics for my wrestling OC, Patriotic Pounder. It is a hard rock/heavy metal song in the key of D minor.
I have two Suno accounts, so if you want to hear the music for this song, my username for the account used for this one is thecatwithoutaname9245.
The Patriotic Pounder (Rules the Ring)
[introduction]
[Verse 1]
Stripes of fire painted on his chest
Spots of fury can't take a rest
Red white blue wrapped tight like chains
A beast unleashed in the wrestling plains
[Chorus]
The Patriotic Pounder rules the ring
He barks he bites he makes it sting
With every slam the crowd will sing
For the Dalmatian king of everything
[Verse 2]
Stars in his eyes they blaze and burn
Every move makes the tables turn
Tail like a whip it cracks the air
He fights for justice he's always there
[Pre-chorus]
Paws pounding justice loud
Lifting flags above the crowd
[Chorus]
The Patriotic Pounder rules the ring
He barks he bites he makes it sting
With every slam the crowd will sing
For the Dalmatian king of everything
[Bridge]
Claws sharp like the truth he knows
In the face of chaos he only grows
The howl of freedom echoes wide
A warrior’s heart he cannot hide
[instrumental]
[Chorus]
[Outro]

Triple birthday celebrations
General | Posted 2 months agoTomorrow marks my 36th birthday, but yesterday was my oldest nephew's 2nd birthday. The 10th of the month is the birthday of one of my cousins. So we have 3 big reasons to celebrate in January. It amazes us how time flies, doesn't it? I pray that 2026 is a kinder year to all of us than 2025 was, but also, I pray for peace, calm, understanding, and ultimately, the world's salvation, giving their lives to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Among the famous names I share my birthday with are the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley, and game show host Bob Eubanks, so to celebrate, let's feature them in this journal as well:

Happy 51st, Wheel of Fortune!

A big happy 51st birthday to America's Game, Wheel of Fortune! Here for your listening pleasure is one of the old prize cues from the show, Nightwalk. This was back when they had shopping on the show.
I've also written a piano arrangement for it which I'll be posting on here shortly.
My oldest nephew also turns 2 years old today, and so it's a double celebration for the family!

Happy New Year!
General | Posted 2 months agoHappy new year, everybody! I pray 2026 is a good year for all of us, especially because July 4, 2026, is the USA's 250th birthday! (But more importantly, I pray that the Gospel message of Jesus Christ is a message everybody hears and accepts. As my pastor says, "The fact Jesus died on the cross and rose again, conquering death and allowing us a way to connect with God by entering in heaven...that's real freedom."
Suno profiles
General | Posted 2 months agoAlthough I've always been upset with AI taking over the world (mostly because I became convinced that it was how the Lord is punishing the world for her sins, as well as believing that it really does go back to Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit off the tree of the knowledge of good and evil), it eventually grew on me, and so I starting using it. The two things I use it for are mainly art and image generation (via either Bing Image Creator, Google Gemini, or ChatGPT and Sora), and music generation, via the website Suno. The latter upset me more initially because while AI does have a positive side to it, it cannot do everything humans can, and also, God gave us brains. The best things are done by human hands, not by computers. However, I did give it a try after
BlueMario1016 introduced it to me, and it just sort of become an addicting habit.
I was disappointed for another reason: all music generated by Suno AI means it owns the copyrights to all the music and lyrics it generates (unless you wrote the lyrics yourself, because it allows you to do that). I wouldn't be able to arrange it for my YouTube channel (or for here) without acknowledging that, so I'm stuck just letting it sit on Suno, but it's there.
As a result, I have two Suno profiles going if anybody wants to hear the results of the things it generated for me. One is named after my OC, Tom the Patriotic Tiger, which has the alternate ID of tomthepatriotictiger14058. The other one is a more generic name, "The Cat Without a Name," with the ID thecatwithoutaname9245. In both profiles, I name most (if not all) of my stuff after anthropomorphic animals, and sometimes I'll do stuff based on my OCs. On my Tom profile, I did a country and western song based on The Righteous Outlaw, a cowboy character of mine. I used the poem (in the lyrics) for the lyrics, although I made a typo, so the lyrics belong to me. The music belongs to Suno AI (including the male voice singing lyrics).

General | Posted 3 months agohttps://youtu.be/Qi51kkMepn0
It was back in July when we lost the biggest name in all of wrestling, Hulk Hogan, but lately I haven't been able to get this song out of my head, so I thought I'd post it here. This was his theme when he first left the WWE (then WWF) for its then-rival, WCW (World Championship Wrestling), but while he was still a hero. Eventually he took the plunge and turned heel, and the whole New World Order (nWo) angle with the evil counterpart to him, "Hollywood" Hogan, began. But whether you loved him or hated him, we can all agree on one thing: his name was absolutely synonymous with wrestling, BROTHER.

Furry Mod in Fire Pro Wrestling World
General | Posted 4 months agohttps://youtu.be/Nwh5tsrR2Jk
Although I'm not familiar with the game itself, the video game Fire Pro Wrestling World is a game I first discovered not from the game itself, but from custom mods, some of which recreate actual arenas from the past (primarily from the WWE, then WWF, and its main competitor at the time, WCW). This, however, is a furry custom mod, as the best of the best wrestlers from the AGF (Anthro Grappling Federation) go at it for glory.
NOTES: Due to the religious beliefs our family has, there were many reasons my parents did not let me watch pro wrestling (or roller derby for that matter); I only started looking at those things as an adult in my 20s and 30s. However, the difference is that I was already in a hyper-obsessive phase of focusing on roller derby when I created the character Danger Dawg, for example. With the wrestling, I had decided to add pro wrestlers to the G-52s before I started watching vintage wrestling (mainly focusing on Hulk Hogan's greatest moments after he died). As a result, many of my recent stories have been focusing on the wrestling G-52s, but don't worry. The others are still there saving the day.
In any event, here is a singles match from the AGF.

FA Anniversary today
General | Posted 5 months agoIt was 14 years ago today I first joined this website. It is hard to believe it has been that long, and it doesn't help my reputation was ruined from the very first day (or so my mind thought), given the quantity of stuff I have contributed, and the controversies I am guilty of, all of which I am still praying for forgiveness to God even to this day. (I'm also praying that if there is anybody I need to atone with, I can do so, but what if they will never forgive me?) But I did want to say thank you to everybody, and I do mean everybody, who has watched me, commented on my submissions, and even tried to guide me in the right direction, navigating the pitfalls of this fandom and the internet in general. To all of those I have hurt, I am sorry. I am very, very sorry. I only wish there was a way for me to make it right with you, but attempting to leave the website forever wasn't that solution. It only made me come off as a crybaby at times.
And while I am not a wrestling fan (due to my religious beliefs), I have discovered that 2025 marked the 15-year anniversary of when Bret "The Hitman" Hart and HBK (Heartbreak Kid), Shawn Michaels, decided to put their troubles behind them at last, and they buried the hatchet on live television. Just as they did, I want to reconcile with anybody with which it necessary, online and offline, and I pray that we can all be friends again.
To those that have been friendly, I pray that we continue to be friends. Thank you all so much, each and every one of you.

I may have to go monochrome
General | Posted 5 months agoI liked using the colors you can use whenever you submit a text file to FA. But you might have noticed that with the modern version's new way of doing that, you cannot see some colors because it is against a light background. If we had the option to select a dark background in the options menu, I would. But this is certainly not the case.
What do all of you think about this? Do you like the new method of text display, or are you old school and like it better the way it was? In my case, my problem is that I have it set to the classic look whenever I am logged in.

Happy Birthday, TPIR, and Happy World Record!
General | Posted 6 months agohttps://youtu.be/13tnjh3dZw4
Happy 53rd birthday to The Price is Right! With the debut of Season 54 on September 22, 2025, according to Wikipedia, the show is set to become the longest-running game show in the whole world, surpassing Chilean television show Sábado Gigante, which aired 53 seasons from 1962 until 2015. (From what I've seen, the Chilean show had all of its audience members wear name tags and there were game show segments, so that does count. However, the USA now will hold the world record.)
Isn't that something? We have the longest-running game show in the world! That is something to celebrate; I really hope the show does something special related to that.

Second nephew born
General | Posted 7 months agoIt was on Wednesday, July 16, that my second nephew was born; it is such a blessing to be an uncle to two nephews, both of which are just a year and a half apart. (My first nephew was born last year on January 6, so he shares his birthday with Wheel of Fortune!) I pray that I will be a good uncle to them both, and that with God's help, I may train them up in the way they should go, so that when they are old, they will not depart from it.
Speaking of Wheel of Fortune, please enjoy this prize cue from the show, Frisco Disco. This same song was also used as the closing credits music for the short-lived 1978 revival of Jeopardy!, and was written by the creator of both programs himself, Merv Griffin. Who says America doesn't have talent?
