So, there are a few things that I kind of what to chat about that I feel would help others understand me more in addition to helping me get a few things off of my chest. This is not really a rant, but kind of one at the same time. Just a list of things I feel like letting out.

1. I do not consider my Pokemon Hybrids to be listed underneath the "fan characters" category. While Pokemon themselves are listed under this category, you can find those species in loads of other places in their designs. With my Pokemon hybrid characters, you cannot find them in their exact designs other than under my work and under the work of artists whom I've received art from. Due to this exclusivity of the designs, I do not feel they qualify under "fan characters", regardless of if they're Pokemon or not in the creatures that make up the hybrid.

2. I have a serious attention to detail at times that plays into when I commission an artist. This plays more or less into my design process when sketching, writing, and when commissioning an artist, and there are various degrees in which it's implemented. When working with existing designs, I tend to be very anal about the design in general and am far less willing to accept creative modification with the character unless the change is something that improves upon the character in such a way that I greatly approve. Celine's improved design is one such example of this. If I'm working with a text design or description, or something more vague, I'm a lot more lenient about the designs. It's a fair warning that I may appear to be sometimes nitpicky with a couple things during the design process of a commission, but I will make all these be constructive within my evaluations. I do not get nitpicky for no reason, and I apologize if I annoy anyone for this, but that's how I am. I'm usually very patient and reliable in picking out things I may want shifted a little or in design aspects that catch my eye. I'm also always open to questions about the design to make sure it's done properly and that both myself and the artist enjoy the process of the commission. That's one reason why I sometimes state "I'm willing to answer any questions regarding the design".

3. It annoys me to no end when an artist does not keep me informed about progress of the commissions that I buy. Unless the commission is a "Trust-Me" style commission, I greatly appreciate WIP's and progress updates from time to time. Even a list on the artist's page or journal about progress is often enough to satisfy me. I like to be kept informed within the process and I like to be involved within the design process. I want to make sure the process is enjoyable for both of us, so keeping me informed about what's going on and sharing WIP's if applicable really helps me in the process as well.

4. I tend to take an interest in people from time to time. Whether or not you're working on a commission for me or not, I will at times potentially check in on you to see how you're doing. While I am interested in progress on commissions from time to time, I also take just as equal interest in your well-being. Just because I pop up out of nowhere to see how things are going does not mean I'm asking about the commission. If I want to know the progress about a commission, I will ask you directly about it.

5. Taking a commission from me does not mean you are allowed to use my characters other than what I permit.

-What you can do with commissions from me
--Post them
--Use them as examples for future commissions (prices and such)

-What you cannot do with commissions from me
--Make and sell prints of them
--Use my characters for anything other than work for me unless you have my explicit permission

Hope that's been a little helpful in sharing a bit of light onto some parts of my personality. I'm usually exceptionally patient and friendly, but this should bring a couple things up that I needed to get off my chest. Until next time.

I have a habit of posting commissioned art for characters and hybrid designs of mine and not putting character bios for them right off the bat if it is the first instance of that character, or the first instance of that character in its finalized form. With that said, I always eventually will get to a bio for my characters, as character development is a hobby and enjoyment of mine. I always outright state if a character I post commissioned art for does or does not belong to me, and I always give credit to the artist whom I commissioned. I am always open to answer any questions regarding my characters and hybrids, especially if they do not have set bios yet and these questions involve things like size and such. Hope this alleviates any concerns regarding character sizes and such if I buy a commission with a character that doesn't have a size or something else similar to such on their bio yet. I am very detail-oriented, and will convey everything needed if those details are not shown on the character's image that I provide.

So, considering my list of characters for the time being, I need to flesh out my hybrids into fully fledged characters. One thing I'm going to need for a couple of them are genital refs for both RP's sake in addition to story details if I use them within that manner.

There are a couple things on my mind, since I am going to be free to ease back into writing again soon, and have a bit more free time.

1. If you have a Pokehybrid idea, feel free to drop me a line and I may try to sketch it out. I appreciate original ideas and hybrids, and egg group hybrids are something I definitely enjoy trying my hand at. That said, I will do other hybrids if need be. Tyrres the Grovypedo in addition to my Goodrona design and my Lalavoir design are good examples of created hybrids within that manner.

(Bit of information on the lingo I utilize for hybrids:
Egg Group/Natural Hybrids: Hybrid between two or more Pokemon that share the same egg group.
Artificial/Created Hybrids: Hybrid between two or more Pokemon that do not share the same egg group)

2. I'm always open to feedback about my hybrids and characters. Before I start digging into writing again, is there anything anyone would like to see regarding them?

Just curious about those.

With how things are going, I'm going to put equal time putting up characters as I am working on stories. The story queue is being shifted around, and I'm putting more effort on things that speak to me to be made/commissioned rather than setting myself to a schedule on things that I might get creative block on. Just thought of giving a heads up. Hope you all are liking my characters. I would greatly appreciate feedback on them and on my stories.

After some hiatus dealing with things such as work, college, and such, I'm finally gaining the free time and the willingness to come back and post stories again. It's good to be back.

Just figured I'd throw an update out there. I am working on stories, but my time to get to them is slim these days, so it'll be a bit before I upload more work.

Just figured I'd let you all know.

Three years....wow. Can't believe it's been that long since I was fully on here.

Well, I'm finally back, but things aren't any less busier for me. Got a few stories to post, but I'll be sure to post them when I can. Updated my sona now. I'm still a serpentine dragon from time to time, but my main sona is now a Xenogon. I'll be hopefully getting WhiteMantis to do a commision on it when her commisions open again. If anyone knows someone who is really good at drawing insectoid and dragon-like chars, let me know.

Ahhh. It's good to be back.

I apologize again for making you all wait so long for me. I'm trying to get time to get on, but that time is so sparse that I don't get that opportunity.

Know that despite my busy schedule, I've spent most of my free time writing new stories. I'm currently working on a Metroid story, an Aliens story, and 3 Pokemon stories for my side projects.

My character list has gotten considerable larger, and as such I have much more freedom in pretty much anything, from RP's to stories. To count, I have around 74 characters to use from all types of backgrounds and areas. I'm sure this is exciting to someone, but I really don't care if someone does find it exciting, as I just work with what I've got.

Anyway, I'm pleased to see that mostly everyone's still here, and I hope that you all still will be here when I completely return. In the meantime, I'll continue to provide updates like this when I get the opportunity.

Hey! I've got a problem. I'm having issues filling a slot for a new main character in one of my stories. I figured that I should ask if there was anyone who was willing to be cast in one of my stories. Here's also what I need. If you can, try to also do a rendition of my original Kaiser Dragon submission, which is my featured submission on my page. Use whatever style you want and you are free to make him anyway you want, go ahead and completely redo him if you want to. Actually, redo him your own way. I want you to do it as if it was you as the Kaiser Dragon, design him you way, use new colors, make him female, or even a herm! Keep in mind, your Kaiser rendition will be your Kaiser form in the story should you be picked. Creativity is a major point racker for me. Points to whoever can make him look good in another color besides green. The winners will be sent a special PM asking for a bio for a character. This contest is not mandatory, I' just doing it so that I can get detailed characters in my stories. Still haven't found the password for my laptop, so all conversation will be done on my Blackjack II for right now. I'm now avaliable on the weekends. I'm also avaliable from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on weekdays. Anyway, book 1 of 4 is finally getting some real progress, thanks to my reintroduction to Mortal Kombat after 7 years without it. Thanks to MK, the fight sequences will finally be able to have soul and detail. Other than that, I'm working on a story for  nicobay right now, with assistance from  Slifer .but what's below is from one of my own stories. I'll see if I can get an excerpt from a new idea in here soon. Here is an excerpt of how things are so far in what is now titled "Night's Embrace".

The moon's light shone brightly off his scaled back, his wings glowing luminesciently like the glow of a thousands fireflies. The night felt good. It was his only serenity from the human world he had come from. The world that had once given him life had cast him out at the sight of his new form.
He had been human once, the first 15 years of his life spent living a human life. He had always felt that his thoughts of the world were not natural of that world. He had thought of things that people of that world thought never existed and were impossible to even had existed. His beliefs had included.......
"Leopardclaw!" He raised his head, his thoughts interupted by a feminine voice. Leopardclaw smiled, a small smile that was barely visible on his face as he carefully hid it. He turned from the cliff edge, his eyes turning towards a figure walking up the slope towards him.
She would have been unrecognizable to human eyes. Her form would have been to dark for human eyes to comprehend. But Leopardclaw was no longer human. His reptillian eyes easily picking up all the details in her form.
She was quite graceful in her movements, moving as if made of water completely. Her fur rustled as she spotted him again. She looked at him irritably. "You could have picked a much easier spot to meditate on." she said. Leopardclaw laughed, a light-hearted laugh that could have charmed the fiercest dragon. "You worry far too much Starheart." He said, still laughing.
Starheart's eyes regained her normal teasing look, her body relaxing as she continued to climb. Leopardclaw lifted himself up and glided down to where she was, gently picking her up and carrying her back to where he had been originally. He set her down, folding his wings behind him to allow more room for her on the narrow plateau. Starheart looked around in awe, absloutely shocked at the beauty of the area. The stars and moon created a dream-like escence to the valley below. The light reflected off the vast ocean that lay beyond the valley, the water seemingly going on forever into the horizon.
She turrned to him, her shock increasing to find Leopardclaw in his human form. He had stopped laughing and was staring at the ocean with great fascination in his eyes. She shook her head, a purr rising in her throat as she watched him. Leopardclaw was a troubled soul, but was greatly interested in the world and what also lay beyond it. She grabbed him, nuzzling him. His concentration broken, he reverted to his reptillian form. Leopardclaw looked down at Starheart, her head nuzzling gently against his, a purr rising from her. He smiled, letting it show this time, and nuzzled her back.
He gently stroked her ears, a reptillian purr playing across his lips. She purred back, a heartfelt sound that betrayed her love for him. His smile only got wider, his purr growing louder and more intense. His wings unfolded and enveloped them in silver shadows. She looked up at him, her heart dancing. He in turn smiled down at her, his heart doing the Riverdance.
"You still worried about what might happen?" She suddenly asked him. He stopped for a second, unsure of how to answer. He knew what she meant, she was ready. He knew that he was too, but was unsure if it was what he really wanted. "Yes" he said, his purr stopping as he became overwhelmed with uncertianty. She pushed against him, her smooth furred tail playing against his back and along the base of his wings. "Don't be." she reasured him.
He looked down at her again, a look of worry crossing his face. "But are you sure you want to do this? I mean....." he trailed off. She looked at him curiously. " What?" she asked with concern. He continued to look at her, staring into her deep blue eyes, trying to find an answer. He looked away, a memory of pain clearly affecting him. She touched his chin, gently guiding his eyes back to hers. "I know why you're hesitant, why you are unsure of our love, why you prefer to stay up here in the traces you put yourself in." she said. "You have never been in love before, but I know that's not the real reason, is it?" she asked.
His eyes looked directly into hers. He knew that she knew the truth, She knew his secret. "No" he replied. His eyes turning from hers. She once again guided them back to hers, the blue in them rippling like the ocean itself. "Our love is real, you know that, I know that. Nothing can change that." she said affectionatly. His eyes lifted, the vibrant emeralds gazing deep into the vast oceans that were hers. "Yes, our love is true, our affection is real, but I'm hesitant because of......" he trailed off. She smiled. "Because you're afraid of being consumed by the negative things of love, aren't you?" He looked at her with acceptance. She know knew, and now there was nothing that could keep them apart. His smile and purr returned, more intense than ever. "Yes" he replied. She smiled back at him, her purr growing deeper as well. "Than you are very wise, my lover" she said. They embraced each other, letting the night take them as they fell asleep together, knowing the future would bring great things for them.

Looking around a few friends pages, I found a few things that have inspired me. I'm going to be working on a new story that I'll be posting here. What has it been, a month, since I posted Kaiser Dragon and Air Kaiser Dragon and Mate? Well, I got a request from Keroascrazy for a wyvern, and I'm going to post one. Well, I finally got a new set of 72-pack cp's and now all I need is a flash drive and I'll be ready to start posting my recent work. I'm also working on a few ideas for my novels and some side projects. My Newgrounds is going well, I find new stuff all the time. I don't use my DA that often anymore. For those of you who know me here but not there, I'm LordCanti4 on DA. I'll keep working and faving as I go along, and I'll get my new work posted as soon as I can. ^.=.^ Oh,btw, keep those anthros coming.
