I've seen this on at least 3 seperate journals now, so here it is again for anyone who hasn't noticed it already.


Rumor has it there is hacker on FA, hacking people and blocking our friends to make them block us. You'll then be banned from FA.

Write the same warning in your journal to protect not only yourself but everyone! Here's another warning: If I'm being a jerk, saying stuff like "Shut up", "Get lost" or "I don't want to see you on my homepage anymore", that's not really me. That's the hacker.

Write all of this down in your journal too!

Please do this, it's for the safety of everyone! Least we want another repeat performance when the site was hacked in the past.

As it turns out, I was wrong when I mentioned that he had a great deal of life in him. Unfortunately, he had to be put to sleep today. We took him to the vets for to check on an injury he'd recieved, though the diagnosis was very grim indeed.

He had:
Advanced FIV (Feline Immunodificiency Virus)
Infections in his ears, lungs and bladder
A fractured hind leg.

There wasn't a hope that he'd recover from these problems.

As it may or may not be well known, it's the 23rd of March at the moment... Despite this, the weather has decided that now is the perfect time for sub-zero temperatures, floodings, gale-force-winds and snow. Certain roads haave been closed due to landslides, trees have been blown over and some roads have been made impassible because of flooding.

This wouldn't bother me too much to be honest, Irish weather is hardly known for being particularly pleasant... But this is March! This time last-year, it had reached 20 degrees in some parts of the country. I need to get out for a wander, a shave, some gym-time perhaps and some photos or I'll go completely stir-crazy.

Soon as I can, or as soon as the temperature rises just a little, I shall get back to taking pictures of various creepy-crawlies, wild-creatures and other sceneic areas.

My goal for summer is to get a close shot of a viviparous lizard. Which, I'm told, frequents some of the boglands in the mountains near my house.

That is all.... For now....

I realise that I haven't been uploading much recently. In my defence, it's been nothing but windy and rainy for the past number of weeks. All the photos I have taken have either been very grim, or very blurry, on a count of water on the lens.

In a related rant, the snow here isn't even able to say on the gronud for more than a half-second. How rubbish!

In an unrelated rambl, if only I had a few sporting hobbies and perhaps could forge swords I'd be as happy as anyone could be.

Just throwing this out there for anyone interested, but it was brought to my attention on a different site, that the seed in that picture isn't a sycamore at all. It's a variety of maple called a sycamore maple.

Acer pseudoplatanus - Sycamore Maple. Known as the sycamore in Britain and Ireland. plane-tree in certain areas of Northern Europe and as the European maple everywhere else. It's not related to the actual sycamore tree, it's a member of the maple family. Just thought that was interesting. It interested me at any rate.

Of my new camera!
I'm not sure what type it is, my sister and parents have gotten it for me for Christmas. So I'm left guessing until then. Though I'm guessing that it's something along the lines of a Nikon D3100 with a lurvely lens. Which I'm looking forward to.

In the meantime, or at least until it stops drizzling, I'll be keeping up the photography. Though the drizzle does hinder things a bit. ;3

I can now add another proverbial star to my chart of metal. Five hours worth of Wisdom, Eluveitie and Sabaton yesterday has me re-energised to an extent. A good setlist, a packed venue and some good brawls in the mosh-pit (Got a few good punches in) coupled with lots of flag waving and good friends made for a great night. Though if you were standing as close to the amplifiers as I was.... Well, you'd be as deaf as I am now. Though I've never had it last more than a few days.

So to sum it up... Best night out I've been to for quite a while \m/

It's now confirmed, I am to go to Wales!
A new place for the next few years to study ancient history and archaeology. Hopefully I'll have plenty of time to explore and take lots of photos of new, interesting and beautiful places. Someday I'll return to Ireland, after what will hopefully be an exciting period of time.

I've found two dead seals on the beach a mile from my house, Both of them shot. I'm absolutely furious! I've posted photos on my facebook page and I'm hoping to get in contact with the Irish Wildlife Trust, The Irish Seal Sanctuary and the Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. It's so infuriating seeing how ignorant and ill-informed some people can be about the fisheries plight, blaming seals instead of blaming the actual culprit: over-fishing.

Yep, I'm back, eircom tells me they mixed my phone lines up with the neighbour and managed to lose the neighbours' phone lines all together. Oh well.
Letting everyone know just in case anyone thought I'd disappeared from the internet. T'was only a temporary techincal difficulty. I can only hope that it wasn't caused by someone bugging the phone line.

At least 2 of my photographs have been taken down. One was "reaching from beyond" which was a photo of a decomposing cat's paw. I remember the name I gave the other one, but it was a photo of a rat's skull in an advanced stage of decomposition. Now I didn't see anything wrong with these, they seemed age appropriate. I just want to ask... Is are skulls and skeletons mature content?

Also, if you favourited any of these photos, I didn't take them down voluntarily. They were simply removed.

I'm proud to say I've now tried, I'm also surprised to say I love it! Feeling all relaxed and content... That's about all I have to say, remember to chill every now and again! ^_^
